I should not have to gift wrap my words so as not to hurt a company’s feelings. ArenaNet bit off more than they could chew and it failed.
As for “free content”, nothing is truly free. Don’t think your time is without value.
So basically, you’re dissatisfied that you were not rewarded enough for participating in a ONE TIME weekend event? Seems like you played for the wrong reasons.
The fact that such a huge reward was included at all is what tarnished the integrity of the experience of the event.
Edit: Furthermore, the event itself was of poor quality.
