1. Ranger (please make it possible to effectively use ranged weaponry, if not that, then just buff it up a bit)

Ah, if it`s a laptop….When was the last time it was cleaned out of dust? Because you see, gw2 may be more demnading game than other games you play, and because of that it can overheat. And if there are a lot of dust inside, it eventually will overheat and turn off.
Also if you have a dedicated video card, make sure it is turned on.

p.s to check the overheating scenario, just download any program to track your temperatures. For example hwmonitor.

Does it happen in other games? If yes then it might be your pc actually. Maybe faulty parts, like rams, motherboard, gpu, or any other parts. I`d start to the search from there. You can find a ton of guides over the web which covers how to check your parts.

If it does not on the other hand, the problem lies either in your system. You do not receive any errors?

Desolation have pretty much of everything going on almost 24/7. I think its one of the more active servers.

Extremely skeptical about that. My cousin has a desktop 760 and averages 60.

Don`t forget the resolution I also play on the N series asus, but with 750m and full hd with mostly medium and a few high settings. And i get around 15-61 fps. Ofcourse it drops below 25-20 with big zergs. Usually it`s 30+. For me it`s enough, and I always can drop the resolution, and then get higher settings. But I prefer resolution.

just hit 80 yesterday, kind of confused atm, to be honest…But first things first, and I know I need a pve build. Found a lot of them over the internet. But a lot of them are old…So I came here to seek help I`d like to use gs and lb/rifle if possible. Or anything that is good at pve. I need to get exotics and stuff. That`s why I focus pve now.

p.s oh, and I forgot, I will be buying rares off the trading post, what stats i should focus on? dps mostly?

Make a big sized human or norn warrior.
And use great sword.

You can carve the pumpkins (just come nearby an uncarved one, and press F button). And the event itself is the doors appearing on the map randomly, just look for them. Name is Mad King`s doors or smth like that. When you come to them and press F they either spawn some mobs or teleport you to Mad kings labyrinth, where you are turned into level 80 while there, and then just ask in /map chat where is the train (group of people) go there, and kill all kind of stuff there for loot.

Well, I`m a newbie myself, bought the game last friday. But for your last question, the thing is not in which is best, they all are probably good for wvw, what you should consider probably is how hard it is to handle them. And that would be from ranging from easy to hard: warrior-thief-mesmer. I played only warrior, but it was a lot easier than ranger in wvw…
