I don’t think I’ve ever posted on forums, but I was about to post this and I saw there’s already a thread.

If ANET adds one more “dive” like the one in Dry Top, I’m done. I spent many hours obsessing over the Aetherblade diving platform, and now i’m spending hours going splat on this one.

Here’s the thing, achievements drive us to complete them, many of us have the OCD type, it’s part of why I like gaming. There’s clear cut goals.

The problem is, I spend the few hours I have a day to game on going splat because I want to fill that achievement square. I cannot stand it, these diving platforms are not fun. Yes I can go to Youtube to find the exact formula, otherwise, it’s the most painful trial and error and far from fun.

I mean it when I saw if I see more crap like this in the game I am done.

If you don’t like zerker gear, then you don’t like gw2. There is no other option. Conditions are painfully slow. You can’t control major bosses so control builds are pointless and support builds, despite offering regen, protection, aegis etc still can’t prevent a Boss foe type from one hit knockouts which also makes them subpar. As for healing, with forced equipped healing slots and poor healing coefficients, well it is just not worth the investment. As another player accurately pointed out in gw2, “Death is the best debuff.” All roads leading to Rome should be directed at anything that destroys targets quickly, because everything else is just so lack luster at doing anything useful or purposeful.

This guy said it in kind of a cynical way but I suspect he is right. It’s bad for the game because with all of the armor/weapon stat configurations being unused I think it really skews the economy too.

Looking for military guild

I’m looking for a guild that’s comprised of US military, especially active Army.

I’m a busy Army officer who plays sporadically and I want to be in a guild of like minded people who understand long absences from the game but will not kick me from the roster.

I play very casually due to long times in the field, deployments, and basically putting a lot of real life priorities ahead of my playing time. With that being said I really enjoy this game from time to time and want to find a good group to play with who will understand long absences.

I’m pretty much interested in all aspects of the game

I had the same problem with my ranger,

I was inspired to play a plate class because their level 80 karma armor looks pretty great.
