though it was just me so i tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it and now the setup file is giving me the same error message ….so now i cant even reinstall the game ….and i just bought the game 2 days ago …..now what ??
kitten lol, yeah you’ll have to wait for them to fix the current issue to be able to download the game I think. I was thinking of doing the repair earlier before I posted but then again I thought to myself, if the client can’t connect to em’ it won’t be able to repair files.

It’s not like the game is going anywhere, so just wait man. You can keep rushin’ em’ but it isn’t gonna change a thing, what’s important is that they’re aware of it and they’re trying to fix it.
We’re aware of the issue and are looking into it.
I’ll update here as I get them.

Oh okay :/ Was wondering if I had to repair or something, will just wait until it gets fixed. Hopefully soon, gotta get some gold to get that Chaos Bow skin!
My game crashed and I’ve been getting this when I try rerunning the game. Anyone else getting this? I’ve already reset my modem and also flushed DNS, still doesn’t fix it.
Oh I see, nonetheless GW2 still the best!!! I’ll just have to wait for some new weapon skins to be released and hope they got colors I want.
Ever since I got my Bladed Chest medium armor for my Thief, it’s what I wore. I did switch to wearing the Magitech Medium set for a short while but I went back to wearing the Bladed Armor (medium) again. I have don’t an idea of how many people in average wears it in the game but it’s one of the best looking sets I’ve come across so far.
I don’t really mind the “unrealistic” looking sets but I have expressed how some skins do look funny, like there was one in the BLTC it was a shoulder skin, and it has candles lol That’s not to say that others can’t appreciate such a design of course. We all have our own tastes.

I’ve been thinking, since we can dye our gears, it wouldn’t be a far concept to be able to dye our weapons too :/ There are good weapon skins in the game that I can’t use cuz their color doesn’t really match the color of my outfit. I just think it’d be really cool we were allowed to do dye weapons. #GW2Fashion lol
I’m getting the same error whenever I try to log in. I’ve already done the same troubleshooting steps too, still no joy. I was able to log in about 3 or 4 hours ago, only encountered this problem now.

Sorry I was only able to reply now. I just rode it out for a few hours after the initial release of the build and when I came back it’s all good. OFC that’s not to say that it’s the cause of it. I just decided to let it be and eventually it stabilized. Been running dungeons with stable ping.. Ping back to around 190.
Where in Asia are you? 150-200 seems like a quite good ping for normal connection in SEA. When the connections are not acting up I can only get around 220 on the very best days [of course not anymore, rare that connections to the servers are not acting up, especially in wvw]. I’m in E. Malaysia. I’ve had to hop on several different vpns just to find an optimal connection – it’s tiring but that happens to be my only option these days, although some vpns can also still be affected by those high lag spikes. I can tell you first off nothing will be done. I usually seem to have more luck with 206.127.159.* servers compared to 206.127.146.* ones for some reason but not all the time. I’ve all but given up on any hopes that lag will get looked into, especially in wvw. I play in EU.
I’m from the Philippines. I’m using PLDT Fibr, it’s an optical fiber connection. Not sure how it is for others in my country but my ping stays 150-200. Mostly around 196 though. I’ve only seen it drop to around 156 a few times TBH. Also IMO 220 isn’t that bad for someone in SEA, before I got my current ISP subscription my average ping for other games don’t even go below 250.
Hi there everyone!
I’m pretty new to the game, after downloading the latest build I started getting high ping reaching up to 1,000-1,600. I’m from Southeast Asia and I normally have around 150-200 ping. Only after this update did I start experiencing this lag spike.
I’d like to know if this is a normal occurrence due to heavy server traffic coming from other players within my region downloading the build update and will eventually normalize or an isolated case. If there’s anyone else in SEA experiencing the same thing please let me know.
