Shame Jeremy is gone… Btw alot of the LA soundtrack (And many other areas) are tracks from gw1 :/ also composed by Jeremy Soule but its kinda lame considering alot of us have been hearing those tracks for more then 5 years now. Its not really bad because its beautiful but its not very diverse either :/
I love them both as well :> I also like logans voice because Troy Baker <3.
And cheers for Caith because her voice actress (Kari wahlgen or something?)
voiced both Gwen and Tahlkora in gw1.. Although I have to admit that her voice is starting to get on my nerves because she voices 50% of the female sylvari/human population >__>
Ah this reminds me about the early gw2 days when nobody had a clue what they were doing. For some reason those are some of the most hilarious runs I have ever done xD. Although those random afk-ers tend to ruin the moment yes. All I can say is that you did the right thing by not leaving.. Although I would have kicked those afk-ers >.>
Her holo eyes will forever haunt me. There are some things you just can’t unsee D=
I totally agree with this. I was actually talking/complaining about this in chat a few weeks ago xD.
GW1 was/felt much more desperate which I like. There was always a horrible and hopeless situation. Prophecies had endless betrayels and there was alot of death around you.
I actually felt like you were unwanted everywhere and had to be on the move constantly. The atmosphere in post ascalon was so grim and dark and the crystal desert really had that ‘everything went wrong here’ feeling to it.
Factions/Cantha had that disgusting plague caused by Shiro which turned everyone into afflicted and enslaved their souls or something. And the kurzick/luxon areas had this sad and tragic feeling to it as well. they really showed how bad Shiro’s impact on the world was and is.
Nightfall story was probably the best imo and had that ‘on the run/fugitive’ thing prophecies had as well c: it also really the ‘You and your marry band of misfits versus evil incarnate’.. And the entire realm of torment was just the very definition of despair and.. torment >__>
EOTN was mostly the player agains’t impossible odds as well. And every ‘part’ of the little army you gather had such a tragic and dark story behind it as well.
For some reason GW2 just didn’t really give me the feeling like the world was probably doomed even though it clearly is when compared with previous threats. And though most areas were not really peacefull most of them felt so happy and stuff x__x (Not all of them. I think Orr, the Dragonbrand and the Kodan Sanctuaries were absolutely brilliant and felt very Guild Wars-ie to me :>) and everyone always has that cheery attitude.
The only parts in the PS that were IMO actually sad were some of the early PS racial missions and Tybalt.
And now its even worse with the living stories because to me it feels like Tyrians are doing nothing but partying lately (I know the molten alliance, karka and aetherblades are trouble but they felt alot like minor problems for some reason). I think GW2 just lacks good villains at the moment :/ the elder dragons are more like natural disasters rather then being actual villains and the others are not serious enough IMO (Bandits are the worst imo because it seems like its ‘one’ group like inquest or w/e but their lack of identity makes them very plain and boring).
The nightmare court is an exception though. Both the PS and the dungeon shows how cruel and dark they are and they have good lore backing them C:
ohmygush I had alot to say about this. Time flies while typing o.O
My Norn Elementalist with her, almost completed, gear
I just love how vabbian that looks with those colours x__x..
Might I ask which dyes you used ?
This is so true xD. We should grab some of those asuran protest banners and run around her in circles or something.
I hope Trahearne won’t turn into kormir.2
Although I really liked Kormirs character she did steal godhood while she did nothing to deserve it imo >.>
Trahearne is even worse because his voice and everything are annoying me as well.
So lets just pray he won’t absorb the power of a dragon only to become the first sylvari god or something xD.
I’m not sure if this has already been asked (most likely) but since it isn’t ingame I’ll just ask again.
So I have been carrying alot of copies of the festival hats because.. well I want them for all my characters in case I ever want to have them wear it =D. And since they don’t stack and just fill up my valuable bank spots I would REALLY like to see the return of the festival hat maker.
(incase some people don’t know who/what that is: he was an npc in GW1 that you could use to create an infinite amount of hats whenever you wanted if you showed him that specific hat atleast once.)
So please add the hat maker or something like it.
thanks for reading
Ooh! That set reminds me a bit of the (elite)enchanter and obsidian mesmer set in GW1 <3
I hope we will be able to get it some day
Uh.. Not sure if trolling or..?
Anyways just so you know this is the lore section of the forum and this topic has nothing to do with it x__x.
So I the mesmer trait Master of Misdirection (adept major trait in the traitline illusions)
Doesn’t seem to work at all.
I have tested it a few times but I see no difference in confusion duration. Also with most traits that enhance duration/recharge you can also see it in the skill description, but that is also not visible.
My buy button is grayed out/unclickable aswell. And when I try to sell things my inventory won’t even load up
