It took Blizzard 5 years to finish repairing the LakeShire bridge in Redridge Mountains. When I played WOW I was expecting a living world, but it never happened. The only meaningful updates came in the form of expansion packs.

Sadly WoW doesn’t have much of an living world as you could expect. They were working on getting one of the statues in Stormwind done for four years. Also some towers were a bit repaired. Thats the most you could expect. So I think ANet is doing a really good job with the living world and really seeing how it slowly gets better and not .. just suddenly .. like in WoW ;_;

You mean with a Sylvari’s dream his/her Wyld Hunt, I believe. And well, yeah, it’s something that’s speculated trough many threads right now. Also that would be awesome, because that would be a nice little twist.

Eh, sadly I think this is simply more of a matter of Voice acting availability, as another said.

My prediction? Anise has something sinister going on. I got the feeling she was the mastermind behind the rumors during the first part (and I actually believe that minister when she said she wasn’t with bandits that night) Then there’s Canach all the sudden by her side constantly now.

Something isn’t adding up. But then hey, this is just like, ya know, my opinion man.

I thought Anise’s reactions and all were pretty strange, when I played it. I’m kinda halfed on possible decisions, as I think both (Anise not being strange/Anise being strange) could be possible. But oh well, we have to wait until the next release for more information which kinda bugs me. I’m just too hyped for more.

Oh, I think they were not much flirty, but flirty enough for me to build an OTP. And I can see it shattering already.

Anyone noticed the that the mouth plant flower(Mordem Thraser maw) appears right in the location where Omadd’s machine is?

Is it? I personally focused more on the point that where ever the Mordem Trasher rose up there was also a waypoint.

Nah he didn’t rise up where Omadd’s machine is. That’s the new area we’ll be going to. You can check it out the new area by doing a little jumping puzzle.

I’m pretty sure it’s where Omadd’s machine is look at it. The new area does not have anything with blue barrs on it.

So it is at Omadd’s machine. But that also means they’re going to put a waypoint there now?

No you didn’t. This episode was more filler than anything else.

Someone needs to learn the difference between filler and plot/character growth.

If it wasn’t painfully clear, not every story piece needs to be filled with kill x boss.

Yep. DBZ had plenty of plot growth. Hardly in story progression occurred during that episode. All you did was run errands for a few people.

Fetch parts for Taimi. Fetch pieces of a crown for Rytlock. Do an event chain for Braham and Eir. This consisted most of the episode.

But it’s a part of the story. A filler would be, if we would have gone to the beach with each of the characters. (I took the beach as an example because most animes use beach episodes as filler episodes. Looking at you, K-On!)

I saw him on my second run through when I was freeze framing to look for details. Seeing him does not necessarily mean commenting on him when the discussion is about the lights going out and Taimi’s apparent fear.

(Which doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be commented on, just that he didn’t naturally come up in conversation until now).

I have seen people who were commenting about how the sylvari NPC has human culture equip and the charr has light and medium armor and stuff. :/

I didn’t see Trahearne in the trailer (unless he used a Total Makeover kit and somehow became a Mesmer) nor any of the other leaders, so maybe it isn’t the summit that is attacked. They could be envoys, which would be a cop out.

I mean, we all figured it would be — it’s the prime opportunity to decapitate Tyria’s leadership — but the plot line couldn’t be that obvious. Could it?

Or it’s the random characters anet puts in for the players.

I’m surprised nobody noticed the Asura engineer with the duel pistols is the EXACT same one from the entanglement trailer (getting attacked by the giant)

Fairly sure the charr and human have appeared in previous trailers at some point too, but might be wrong.

I watched through all of the existent trailers (or all the trailers I know of) and I only saw the reaccuring Asura. Which made me giggle, but also a bit disapointed as no one else seemed to see that. It was a nice little detail and it was mostly ignored.

I’m still waiting for a moment where the PC does something really great (looks to Zhaitan) and a NPC comes up and says something like “You know, <Name>, you mentor, <NameofMentor>, would be proud if s/he would be here.” and your PCs just like: “(deep breath and atleast one tear, because seriously, we all cried at that moment, I think) I know…”

But yeah, Tybalt was more of an impact for me, because you know him longer. But that is also why Belinda is more impactful for me than the Quaggan (which I never even knew lived hides under a table, because she sinned badly). Belinda also shocked me, because though I knew it was going to happen, it just happened so … shortly. In one moment she lives, than the boss fight, I die because Kas and Jory suddenly disappear, they always stand at the beginning again for now kittening reason and then the cutscene after that fight … I was so rushed, that it actually made an impact on me for exactly that reason. One thing that’s going to be interesting is what ANet is going to make with the kinda development of Jory which should kinda take place with Belinda’s death.

Mounts wouldn’t fit into the game, as I personally think. They wouldn’t fit into the atmosphere and I enjoy it.

Zhaitan’s name is mentioned multiple times throughout not only the personal story, but I believe in casual NPC dialogue as well.

This is btw, what shocked me the first time I ever heard of Zhaitan. As a player who joined shortly after the Megaserver-Patch and only buying the game, because I saw people who played it and it looked good, I never knew who the kitten he was. So the first time in PS we heard of him, I sat there and was like “… Who?” It took me some time to know who was mentioned and I was kinda confused, because for me it felt like it was just thrown in like common knowledge.
And this is also how I felt, when I played that story episode yesterday. It was just thrown in and again I was like “Wait … What?”, because I personally researched everything, but my PC didn’t. Also because I’m one sloppy player. Hopefully there is going to be one reasonable explanation, because I feel like this could also confuse people, who join this game now, like me and just get this thrown onto them.
