I beat Top tier Revenants (Denshee,Sindrener,Kazeeh) in about 5/7 fights without dropping the node

against necro:
kite on staff as long as he is in his Reapershroud and let the pet do the work. Engage when he is out.
Works most if the time as you simply win by sustain although you may have to drop the node.

yes this has to stop! how can it be fine that hes winning games against proleague teams?

there has to be some kind of hack involved im sure!
there is no other reason that this may happen!

some days ago rom was fightimg him 1vs1 and after losing he had to close his stream because of laggs..

Can confirm-
we managed to get 3 games in 3 hours last night (dodging you and the guns n tool premade).

Really sad that the matchmaking is actualky working and looking at your MMR right now.

I lile the strategic aspect of it aswell- its like a new gamemode.
Showing as offline to fool others into false security, finding the right guys to queue up with.

And as everyone thinks they can get easy games at 3am we have a cluster of high MMR people playing until the daybreak.

10/10 IGN- would recommend!

I dont know how people with random build expect to win. There is a reason why certain builds (classes) are meta, why they are good.

In games like League of Legends you see the same, there are around 150 champions yet you will only see 30? being played in competitive games.

Can confirm.
Was testing it with another player last weekend after noticing a lack of node pressure and missing damage numbers.
He told me that he has talked to Lyphion who then informed Grouch about the bug.

Lets hope it will be fixed soon.

Well it is difficult to judge the balance as d/d ele is simply on top of everything.

Warrior and engi are not weak but again ele is just better in most situations.

Same goes for ranger: quite stromg after the specialisation patch- ask good players if you got told else in the forums (difficult to play if you dont go with Lb/Gs). If you want a ranger to work in your teamsetup you have to adapt a bit though.

Mesmer is on the upper end aswell but not as broken as some people think.

Necro is fairly balanced just as guardian is.

Coming to the most obvious thing: ele is broken. Period.
Pay to much burning applicatipn without efford overshades the concept of being versatile but not shining in every aspect.
If they would half the burning stacks you get in fire we can talk again.

But the biggest problem of PvP, as it is now, is not the balance but more the reward and progress structure wich is little motivating if you dont play with friends/ a team.

Former Warrior main giving his thoughts:

1. Yes tried it- quite nice and a good buff against condis if you are running away (why would you use the active otherwise)

2. Not really. As Hambow and Shoutbow got almost removed from the game all you see are zerker builds wich tend to be liek the old GS/Ham or GS/Bow ones

3. Not at all. You dont really benefit from being able to go into three specialisations.
Shouts got nerfed for some reason and warhorn aswell.
Making it impossible for you to counter incoming burst or high pressure. An Elementalist can do the same but better – more dps, more support (heal and cleanse) and with the new S/D and/or Earth tree you can take some hits aswell.

The Patch has been a dark day for the sPvP Warrior
