So I have been wondering this for some time, but I haven’t really touched the ranger class yet. Are builds that don’t incorperate a pet viable in any area of the game and do you feel rangers should use pets even if the build doesn’t support their pet?
The reason I ask this is simply because I love the long bow on a ranger, but I have never been a big supporter of using a pet with a ranger. Has anyone else done something similar?

Where did you get that information from? I have not really heard anything about it being canned, if anything it makes sense that’s where we would be headed next. Sorry to get off topic in this thread, this comment just grabbed my attention and would like to expand on it.
Hello, I am kinda new to the theif class. I had a warrior and a guardian before my theif, and if you are giving advice for builds I would like some.

I mainly do PvE, but would this build be viable for say WvW or PvP?
I normally use D/D and P/P (mainly for unload that’s about it)

I agree it works really good in situations, but with Healing Signet and Adrenal Health I get 500 – 600hp back every three seconds not doing anything and my shouts heal, and I use Shake it off, For Great Justice, and On My Mark. It seems to do well but it has no CC unless you replace FGJ/OMM with Fear Me.

So I have seen the Regen Warrior build on some youtube videos and I have to say it is an interesting idea. I also don’t see many people playing around with the build, maybe I am just missing those threads but I wanted to get other people opinions on the Regen Warrior build.
