With these new, frustratingly bound mats dropping from every little thing I’ve started to notice something. After a dungeon my bonus chest is popping up with the massive great thing telling me I’ve got more worthless pinks while the tokens I subject myself to said dungeons for are pushed off to the sideline. Granted this will sound stupid, but am I getting fewer tokens in exchange for items I do not want and can not do anything at all with other then start the pointless road towards an ugly as sin weapon?

It seems unlikely, but at the same time I would not have trouble believing it- and while we’re on the topic it would be grand to have some kind of vendor willing to exchange these mats for items certain players actually want instead. Ideally you should be able to trade them for a few more tokens from whatever dungeon you where just in. But I’d settle for random dye packs really. Just something so this “reward” goes to less waste for those who have no interest in sinking the masses of time and money necessary into making a weapon

So today I log in- after leaving the following breakdown of gold across my characters the night before.

Guardian: 61 gold
Necro: 3-4
Enge: 1-2
Warrior: 3-4
Mesmer: a few silver

Notice each character still retained their own respective gold pools separate from one another. I had believed this was how the wallet system worked as since resuming play a few days ago it had been this way

However, this morning upon logging on I discovered that, overnight my guardian’s gold had gone down from 61 to just under 7 without single action on my part. On every other character and after several relogs it was the same. Each character has six gold and about eighty silver- across five characters this still adds up to less then what ONE of my characters had ten or so hours before.

Apparently, I have leaned, this is how the wallet was made to function. By divvying up your gold and giving a portion to each character regardless of your desires. Never the less I am now 30 gold worse off for no reason. With no hope at recovering the loss or any means of moving the gold off characters that do not need it (as you cannot mail gold to yourself or store it in your bank any more)

This is either a bad joke or terrible bug. In either event knowing that my money cannot be recovered or restored feels like a perfect reason to leave this post as both a detailing of what happened and a complaint-riddled “I quit”

A race change could be easily implemented. Simply have it reset your personal story- all of it while keeping you locked into whatever order you chose and providing no additional reward for completing a second time. If this could be done it’d remove a good deal of the problems the story poses to the idea of a race change.

Now a name-change on the other hand is just vital, I can guess it must suck to have picked a kit up and gotten stuck with another gender’s name. I’d also love to see several more hairstyles, faces and cosmetic detail (scars, makeup, tattoos) all made available. But that’s just my thoughts on how to approach the issue of race changing

Dream, can I suggest something simpler? It won’t do exactly what you ask but I think it would be easier.

My whispers channel automatically changes addressee… it’s a known issue. But when they fix it, I suggest they allow multiple whisper channels – more specifically one dedicated to each person you are whispering – exclusively. And clearly marked too with the recipient’s name in place of a custom tag. It would make it easier not to accidently send something to the wrong person, or think the whisper you’re getting is from someone you’re already whispering with. SORT THE SKITTLES!

This was my idea- a thousand times this! we so need a way to make handling several whispers something other then a pain

I would just like to see the ability to move one person to there own tab. I tend to whisper and talk to several people at once, and even making a separate ’whisper" channel the fact that every single post is the same shade of pink with only “To X” or “From X” to help keep track has left me disinclined to speak to more then one person outside of the general channels at a time.

A simple left click on the name “move to tab” that pulls all communication from that person into a separate chat tab. On your end only unless the other person does the same to you, would do wonders for streamlining a frankly bad system. I’ve been spoiled by the flexibility offered by addon-supporting mmos and, if guild wars cannot in some way keep pace then my interest will almost certainly fade quickly
