love this idea of a personal rank system. This is coming from someone who is playing in a guild now that all came from LOTRO and hearing how that system worked.

Basically there were 15 ranks you can get to and it was sorta easy to rank up at the start and then got longer to grind those points. But with this each rank just got you a new skin to use on your guy. This is from creeps side im pretty sure i do not know about other side sorry. But with this ranks almost meant nothing other than you played long and while playing you were good because you had to get kills to earn these ranks. However when you ranked up you did not get anything special you only got a skin which is still awesome.

This is something Anet needs to look into. I would not want to see a server unbalance more due to the people in the winning servers getting this amazing gear to use. But give use for each rank a set up armor or weapon skins or maybe a cape for each rank that we can transmute over our reg around with out transmute stones to show off the rank we have. Or something like the crowns for costume brawl have a symbol above out heads to show our ranks (that one might get alittle annoying).

Those are my thoughts but as ive seen with my server we are getting destroyed (sadly going cry xfers on this one) by the other server getting alot of xfers in and with a small pop WvW server people are just not wanting to go out there because you take a keep and loose it 5 mins later because 30+ people come and you get whipped with your 10 trying guard it.

Just my thoughts. Love the game though!

PS as a commander already i wouldnt mind having a sweet commander skin for my armor. JS

it was no rendering bug. You had atleast 30 there and there were only about 3-5 thieves there until the mass came. They were smart and used their stealth skills on each other and to just run around you guys. Learn to AoE and stop complaining when you can not take a camp from 3 people when you have atleast 30 there

I have this book and love how it looks on my toons. My problem with it is that its the same stats as my story mode one but you are not allowing me to put in a exotic jewel into it on my level 80 character. I also do not want to transmute it just for the skin because i will lose the text that it has on it. Is there any chance for you to change it to allow 80s to put in exotic jewels into it. Thank you!

well i know from the guild i am in came mostly from LOTRO and i didnt play it as much…but their rank system got the skins for their creatures…it could just be something simple as that. Just something to work for in Wv3 yeah there are titles and those will come just from playing Wv3 hard to just go for it..just gives something people really could work for while defending their server. More rank points for taking keeps/defending and maybe since there are 3 maps you get more points depending on how much your servers holds…i know might be alittle unblanced but in the lower bracket which i am in wtih DR Fergs and Kain we are pretty much equal on capture stuff during prime time during day alittle iffy…but it can always get more people out there..just a thought.

yeah i like the idea of them thats why i put this out there but i guess not many others did seeing you are the only one who commented on it haha…but with that idk how they will actually do them. Since WvW gives actually exp which gets the lower levels to WvW. With that how ever they can do a combined XP and rank system. Where if you are 80 you can get more rank points instead of XP or so on. I think it would get a lot more people into WvW plus gives us already out here something to work for.

This is more to the Devs to see plus i have not been keeping up on forums for this question. But is there any word or thought into adding this?

my brother got it after his third bag he opened…i was like are you kittening kidding me haha i had to leave the game for a couple hours i was so mad.

so i am not sure if i am the only one that really wants this tonic or not. But i have opened up a good over by now 5k+ personalized Trick or treat bags and have gotten none of them. But with this i have gotten close to 100 of all the other crappy ones that drop off these bags. Now why can i not put 50 of each of them in forge and make my endless tonic. It just makes me really mad! haha

being on a server that did not win for awhile and watching the orbs and fighting against groups with 3 orbs personally we still one many of our fights if we had a good group rezing people right away and splitting up them. Also have more 80s and with gear than the group you are fighting helps a lot even if they have orbs. I personally do not see them as a game changer. More of a thing to actually go after to mess with the other server.

well the whole thing im not looking to run dungeons everyday for the rest of this game im a main WvWer what i like but getting exotic gear makes it alot more fun so just looking for a server thhat has alot of people doing dungeons for like a week or 2 for me to get my gear

well i am an officer in my guild and we get dungeon runs but we do not farm them which i need plus i am on the lowest pop server so its hard to pug them all the time thats all i really want to do need get my mesmer geared out for WvW!

looking to transfer to a server for a week for gearing up my alt mesmer. Can anyone tell me a good server to transfer to that runs dungeons like all the time. Mostly looking to do TA even this if someone just want to friend me i can run them with you if you can get people! thanks have fun playing all!
