Oh boy, they don’t stack? >.< That definitely needs to be addressed.

And since they’re account bound anyway, ANet, can’t you just make them give you +20 levels instead of raising you to level 20? Seriously, anybody who’s been around for 2 years (or even 1 year) is more than likely already going to be higher level than that. And if they haven’t created new characters by this point, I doubt a new scroll is going to tip them over the line.

Two reasons.

1. Any face-to-face trading, no matter how many checks you put on it, has the possibility of people getting scammed. By forcing all trade to go through the TP, you reduce the number of people getting scammed, as well as extra work your Support teams have to do investigating these claims.

2. The TP is the single biggest gold sink in the game, and all accounts show that it’s extremely effective in controlling inflation. If you allow face-to-face trading, you’re allowing players to bypass this sink, which will then result in said inflation. (And let’s be honest. The only real reason people want a face-to-face trading interface is so they can avoid paying the TP taxes.)

Racial elite skills are, universally, worse than class elite skills.

This is deliberate and will not be changed. A person shouldn’t choose their race on overpowered elites; it should be mostly a cosmetic choice.

I’d rather than racial elites be balanced so they are on par with class elites, to be honest. Otherwise, what point would there be in even spending the skill points on learning racial elites?
