@ktith, i don’t really think there’s a damage exploit going around. I’m a damage spec elementalist, and when I 1v1 or fight in any group my damage can shoot anywhere from 500 to 8k (funny kitten build.) AFAIK, a ballista only hits like 6k on people and I know plenty of glass cannons that hit for 10k-15k a hit.
You can also hit 15k crit on a warrior easily by speccing into 100 blades.
Especially thieves, since I’ve been hit for a 22k crit on backstab before by a Devona’s Rest (Btsy, kitten you all.)

I’ve spoken to Drednyte personally; he’s an amiable and friendly guy and I honestly don’t see why everyone was bashing him. KAIN and PRO have had many fights against one another and I can say it’s all been very fair. We smash them, they smash us. Numbers, coordination, etc. I wasn’t around when he transferred over, but from what I can see, it didn’t go over very well. He had no intentions to spy, I can assure you of that.
Also, “butthurt”? I think we’re finally on equal fighting grounds, and most battles between our guilds are fierce and tons of fun. Don’t draw assumptions!
As someone once said, wvwvw is like the tide; it comes and it goes. Cut the forum angst and I’ll see you all on the battlefield, eh?

This is Dyneis, leader of Kings of Kaineng (KAIN) guild on Kaineng server speaking. I felt that Devona’s Rest attack on Garrison at around 4:00PM EST was amazing. I was the man in the Omega Golem; That was tenacity I’ve never seen before. I probably took out two Alpha golems and over six rams defending just the outer walls.

And that last stretch when you finally broke into the inner keep? I’m not sure we would have held you guys off without the orb protecting the lord and the Omega golem. I must have killed over 40 people, but you guys kept coming. I think Devona’s is evolving, and that’s great!

While I’m on the topic, I also want to give props to this one thief from Baltimore Style. Yesternight or before, she singlehandedly fought off three or four people. Like, kitten 9k crits on every attack?

As of the time of me writing this, 5:04 PM EST, we still own Garrison. That was an exhilarating defence; I’ve never fought so hard defending. Well, now I’m Omega-less, so let’s see how the next defence goes?

The one in Devona’s Rest Borderlands is due to a standard glitch, I was referring to the situation in Kaineng Borderlands. I just wanted to spread awareness in regards to the few rotten apples spoiling our WvW. I’ve quite nejoyed the current situation (sans the hacking, of course) as Kaineng has begun to grow and is a fair contender at last.

This is the second time it’s occurred, I was hoping the person might have been apprehended by now. Seems his signature is not bringing the orb with him, but simply taking it from the defended keep and removing the buff from us for 15 minutes. Soon after, the mindless zerg swoops in on Godsword and captures it, thereby making it “legitimate”.

I do enjoy playing with Borlis Pass when you guys are playing fairly, but… After the initial orb hack, the keep hack, and now the orb hack again I honestly can’t wait until the server resets.

I’m disappointed in you, Borlis Pass. You didn’t have to resort to hacking to take our orb away, you probably would have broken in eventually.

The entire server didn’t hack it. The person has been reported, and, from what I understand, a member of his own guild frapsed it and submitted the video to Anet.

Don’t paint with such large strokes.

I typed that part of my post while I was in the heat of the moment. It’s quite ridiculous, and I’ve been working all morning long trying to make people listen to me. So after all my work had been crushed in mere seconds, I was quite put off. I’m glad to hear the person was apprehended, I hope that punishment comes swiftly.

I’m Dyneis, leader of Kings of Kaineng (KAIN) on Kaineng server. That was bullkitten. After SoS worked all night taking back our entire borderland, I worked all morning and afternoon defending and rallying troops. We finally fortified our keep to near max and suddenly a hacker jumps into the altar room, and smashes the altar to pieces.

Kaineng is the underdog server. We’ve been at the bottom forever, and the instant we finally manage to do well, these guys begin hacking. I just wish we could have gotten a screenshot of the guy.

As a matter of fact, 20 minutes after the orb was smashed in, you did break into our keep. I really enjoyed the last battle when you squeezed in, the results of the first breakthrough was hilarious. It was a good fight in the end, but a lot of people left after the hacking incident happened.
I hope some day in the future we can have a legitimate and proper fight without having to worry about hackers. Who knows, perhaps we would have held the keep!
