No problem until today (19/02/14 after 1900 GMT) Now at 22:55 the lag is almost 30 secs even away from LA.

Getting the same error, seems like we had a similar problem a few weeks ago after a large update. Getting error codes 42:6:3:2242,

We did not have any problem with GW1. Looks like GW2 is too sucessful, too many players wanting to play at the same time. Too many players = a lot of income, come on Anet play fair.

seems to be able to play for 4-5 mins then freeze out – but this only really occurs at weekends, too many people playing on too few servers. We have paid to play, so why can’t we? Ps I’m in Scotland.

Completing a Jumping Puzzle (JP) to get to a View does not seem to count towards the Daily Challenge (DC). Specifically Town of Nolan. I did have to JUMP to get there!
What does a JP have to comprise of to get this to count towards a DC?

Went for the daily dodger and got that.

It’s ANET server issue. Too many players on not enough servers. They are too successful.

I would not expect a solution for this today. As I pointed out in the Network Lag thread, GW2’s twitter account hasn’t posted a tweet since Mar. 8, they must be off on their weekend. I “think” we’ll get a fix on Monday.. which completely sucks…
Funny thing is, I haven’t faced this lag until yesterday, past 3 days have been fine for me. I would like to point out that even though I’m located in the ME, I’m playing on a North American server (Crystal Desert)
The EU lag plus login problems, and sudden server disconnects has been getting worse over the past few weeks. Now when I do get in, maybe after 15-30 mins I get about 5 mins play berfore a mysterios loss of connection. But I can still get to the forums.

Please would an Admin look at the following:-
a) Check the geographical areas/servers with this problem.
b)The problem occurs at its worst at EU weekends and EU evenings – suggests a loading problem – works OK (most of the time) during the EU daytime working hours.
From working on large server farms in the past I’ve seen similar problems – solution have a number a floating servers that can be assigned to where the problem worst.
And to suggest in the on screen message that it is either the user or their ISP that is at fault is insulting. Admit that you are just too popular, but have not invested in enough servers with load balancing technology.
If we can’t login, we can’t collect poits for out Guild.
Plus I’ll bet a lot of players will stop buying Gems!
