Post your music notes for popular songs for the bell players
Here’s a video of me attempting the Bell Choir activity. It is fairly easy to do if you keep your fingers on the number keys rather than use your mouse. The trick is to wait for the color to hit the blue circle then hit the key appointed to that color. If you are still having trouble, try and slow down. Once the color hits the circle, you still have enough time to hit your key and get the points for it. It’s ok if you miss a few, as long as you hit a few of the notes, you will be able to complete the songs.
We are a brand new guild on the Sanctum of Rall server looking for players of any and all levels. We are a PvX guild dedicated to helping others and doing events such as dungeons and zergs. As I’ve mentioned before, we are a new guild, so we are still building up for guild missions and boosters.
You can contact either my account or Luxbon.3967 for more information or an invite
After finally getting the hang of the bell choir ensemble(I did dreadfully horrible last year), I notice that when I join certain instances to get the achievement, the game will not count my score. When this happens, I have to leave the instance and join another for it to start working again. Not sure if anyone else is having the problem or I’m just doing terrible.
Sanctum of Rall has zergs in the tower in the evenings but our commanders are idiots. If you guest there, make sure you are running with a group that kills everything.
I did, but being dyslexic makes it harder to research
When trying to get to the Aetherblade Jumping Puzzle, my character will not leave the first spinning gear to fly across the gap. I’m not sure if it’s the same for all the spinning gears but I cant get the POI or the achievement for it
I just tried to log in this morning, and all went as well as it usually does, but every time I clicked play to get onto a character, the game would lag and not continue. After about a minute, the game gave me a network error and shut me out. I checked my internet, everything’s good, so I began the process of trying to patch again; however, now I am getting the message saying that there is a firewall issue or security problem and I can not continue.
I’ve seen this message before when GW was having technical issues and spent 3 hours trying to fix the problem. Is anyone else getting this or is my computer finally shutting out GW?
My boyfriend lost over 300-350g worth of items, no money spent on them either, all farmed. Think about how long it would take to redo all that
This happened a few days ago, and since my boyfriend will not advance on the subject, I will. This has happened to him twice now and he is on the verge of quitting Guild Wars because of it. He loves the game, but mistakes like this are just not acceptable and A-net will not refund for it.
Anyway, my boyfriend is currently trying to make a Legendary weapon after helping me with mine. We both started farming for T6 mats(Powerful blood, Vicious fangs, etc.) and he was able to get almost over a 100 of each mat by the time Molten Facility was taken away. However, a few hours after the Facility was taken down and A-net had to perform yet another patch that same day, all the mats just disappeared from his bank.
We thought maybe someone hacked his account, but if that was the case, they probably would have taken all his gold and items too, but he still had every last penny and item. I asked if maybe he sold them, or moved them to another character, but there were no T6 mats anywhere and he didn’t have any extra money in any characters nor did he have money waiting for him in the Trading Post.
That’s when we came to the conclusion that maybe the patch took away the items since it has happened to us before on other MMOs due to coding problems. Unlike the other MMOs though, A-net says they will not refund the items or even look in to it. “We are sorry to hear that” is the only thing we get from them.
I spent 6 months making my Legendary, and I will tell you now, it was a lot of work. Both he and I put hours into this game, and promoted it to a few of our friends because it is one of the best MMOs we have played. If A-net really valued their customers, they would take the few minutes to check player logs or something to help out.
It’s not that AC has become unpopular, but it seems like only level 80 characters want other level 80 players to farm it. The lower level players, in which the dungeon was first designed for, can no longer run PuG runs because the dungeon has now become impossible for them to do unless they have help or guidance from someone who knows the strategies. Although A-net is trying to make people happy and continue to challenge players, they are probably not taking into account the level and experience people have with the dungeon who want it to be more of a challenge.
I am currently in the process of making Twilight for my Charr. The main thing I want for her is to show off armor when not in battle and pull out Twilight when I’m fighting, that way you can concentrate on both armor and weapon seperately.
After the patch on February 26th, I realized just how much easier all the dungeons used to be compared to now. I’m not complaining about the new difficulty; however, I would like to bring to light about the sucky reward system for all of them. Since the new patch gave us more hassle to do dungeons, I think it would be only fair that we get better prizes for our efforts. I used to breeze through AC, but since I could finish it in 15 minutes or so, I didn’t worry too much about what I was getting, but now that it’s taking some guild/pug groups almost an hour to get anything done, it would seem that it makes it seem almost stupid to waste the time to even give the dungeon a try.
Anyone else think the same?
Which would be more preferred?
I’ve heard alot of talk about making the bird people seen in most of the starter maps into a race and then some more talk about there being a monk class. In all honesty both sound good , but I’m not entirely sure. A new race sounds awesome, but instead of the bird people, I would want an aquatic race like the woman who helped in the storyline (she looked like an underwater butterfly).
As for a class, I did not play the original guild wars so I am unaware if there is classes that were not installed into GW2 that were in GW. I think instead of adding anymore tanks or what not, maybe a more designated healing class would be more appropriated. I know that GW2 was designed so that there would be no need for a healing class, but sometimes, they are very much needed.
I dont mind running full dungeons, its not a bad thing, but whiners are trying to make it impossible to do speed runs for those people who just want to do one or two before reset or having to leave.
This goes out to all the complainers and whiners out there who hate dungeon or champion exploits: who the hell cares?
If you were not smart enough to think about it before does not mean you can whine about it here on the forums and have the developers fix it. Valve, the minds behind Portal and Half-life, loved when the game testers found an exploit or different strategy to defeating a boss because they wanted to see who was clever enough to replicate the act when they ran through the game.
Maybe instead of making the game less fun for everyone else, you can find a guild or group of people who have the same opinions as you and ya’ll do dungeon runs together. Simple as that.
Now go put on your big boy pants and quit whining.
My Guardian class is getting to that point where it is time for her to start doing dungeons and higher level mapping. The only problem is: I am not quite sure what build I should go for a full tank build. A friend of mine told me to go healing power/toughness for the full potential, but due to inactivity, I was unable to get any advice.
Anyone mind giving some tips on a healthy guardian build?
I had this same debate with myself recently and am about to make a ranger charr. I have all races made, and all of them are different classes and are too far a long in level for me to restart them on a different race. The only race I was missing was a Charr, but since I had already started the classes I wanted to use on the race, I resorted to the classes I havent used: the medium armors. Engineers seemed like the way to go, seeing as how the Charr race is just as advanced as the Asura; however, the class was dull to me so I ended up deleting it. Next I tried theif, but unlike my friends, I’m more of a headstrong kind of player so the stealth did not work for me. Now I am going to attempt the ranger class and hope for the best on it, mainly because I’ve run out of classes to try. If you think ranger is not suited for the Charrs, go to the Black Citadel and look at the statues toward the north exit. There is a Charr statue of a ranger there, and it looks pretty epic. It was the only thing that told me it could look natural.
Also, you mentioned that you thought Charrs did not have the appearance for being rangers, but instead warriors or any other brutish class. Well, you could think of it like this: Charr’s, being the cat/dragon things they are, must of evolved from something in nature at one point. They are natural hunters and probably, even though their appearance says otherwise, try to protect the land rather than destroy it.
