syncing and 4v5 never was an issue in team q and many players feel disrespected after spending alot of time and practise into it atleasti in the Eu scene. announcing it month ago or filtering players without a certain amount played in the last weeks or month is not that hard but you cant punish players because you fail at announcing / or start finding a solution too late. Ah, the glory times of having a full premade on ts stomping 5 pugs before solo q was implemented.

Thats not true by the time the leaderboards were released mmr was already in use. the glory times of stomping some r10 randoms with r40+ premade was back in the days of paid tn.
ppl should be rewarded for their high rank cause they suffered themselves into top 30 by facing the same teams over and over again. Stomping pugs gain you nothing you need to win 20 matches to climb 1 rank and if you lose a single match due to a dc or whatever ull most likely drop about 5 ranks.

After that we were hoping for super to come back in time. He told us he needs 10-20 min so we asked dave (r1 EU) to sub for us but he had to creat a new free trail acc and do the tutorial and we were unable to do all that in time so we decided to play 4v5. There was no rage quit or anything super dc’ed before they took our close. if u ever played against car crash u know that we can turn any game and we are not resigning even at 497:200

MLG asked a lot of NA (aL,USA…) and EU (crs,DE…) top teams but since most of them stoped playing in the last view weeks MLG had to change the roster over and over again. I dont get why they invited 3 EU teams and 5 NA teams especially cause there are some EU top 50 teams still playing also i wouldve loved to see more NA vs EU matchups but it is MLG’s decision. Im really looking forward to play and hopefully face SYNC in the finals again.

Says the person not even in the top 1000 of a leaderboard. Sure, we play against soloQ’s sometimes but 90% of the time in the top 1000 I am playing against premades in a premade vs premade match and if I do face a soloQ team its players all in the top 1000 that soloQ so the advantage is not as large as this forum makes it out to be. To say we farmed our rank by playing against soloQ is insulting.

The majority of SoloQ players that have had issues and come here to complain are in the 70-90% rank range. Thats the point where teams start to form and soloQ players begin to run into them. You also get the issue that bad players that have been carried to that range are no longer able to keep up bringing teams down.

1. Romek is right you can easily reach top 100 only by farming soloq with your team.

2. My team is facing soloq 50% of the time although we are pretty high rated.

3. I know tons of r500+ soloq players who play on a top 50 skilllevel. If a top 100 teamplayer decides to start soloq he will drop like 200-300 ranks within 1-2 days cause soloq players keep facing good r40-50+ premades with r5-20s in their team.

4. Stop feeling like a boss and forbid people to talk cause your a “top” player. This forum is made to discuss and improve things and your behaivor doesnt allow that.

Mogwow always use 7-8 buttons for his burst. You can watch some of his videos with virtuell keyboard.

Btw some team accused Mowgow to use macros a few days before the tournament started. Some people pmed me that we will get disqualified the evening before we had our matches. The admins told us that they take this matter very serious and that Mogwow would be watched during our games.

not with their new comp foefire is the only map where u cant avoid big teamfights and with our comp we cant win vs spirit ranger. All TP had to do was winning one teamfight and then play save on 2 points and thats exactly what they did. Actually they even got a bit greedy and push on our point we killed 2-3 then pushed mid but again spirit ranger can bunker points till the team respawns and with the elite-spirit up the chance to win a teamfight is >10% although we always tried to focus spirit first.

Best of 5 turns everything cause we couldnt win foefire and TP had a chance to win Niflhel or Khylo. Our second match on Niflhel was very good we won the first teamfight and had 2 points and then TP killed our thief offpoint and Teldo won a 2v1 on far. 2 mistakes and we lost the game. You cant compare that to foefire we couldve stayed in our base cause there was no chance. Im sure we wouldve lost a best of 9 vs NN aswell cause their advantage on foefire is bigger than CCs on niflhel.

Bo5 doesn’t change anything, since you have 2 equal scenarios

Nifhel -> CC advantage ( slightly)
Foefire -> TP wins
Khylo -> fair

Solution

In a Bo3 scenario, you need to win nifhel, since you know you’re going to lose on foefire.

Everything will be settled on Khylo ( which is a fair map)

Bo5

Nifhel -> CC advantage ( slightly)
Foefire -> TP wins
Khylo -> fair
Nifhel -> CC advantage ( slightly)
Foefire -> TP wins

Solution

In this scenario, everything is AGAIN settled on Khylo.
According to statistics ( those ones you said), you’ll lose in Foefire in any case, so the best is to win both Nifhel ( something you should, since you have a slight advantage).

If you win Khylo, and win both Nifhel ( the map where you are favoured), TP has not even a chance to go back to Foefire, and you “ON PAPER” win easily.

Again, eveything is settled on Khylo.

If anything, winning on Khylo should have given you an advantage.

There’s absolutely nothing different in a Bo3 when compared to a Bo5, the only issue , as i said before, is that you were EXTREMELY TIRED due to 5 hours of playing, compared to TP whose were fresh and clean.

Nothing else ( not that it doesn’t matter, it’s a very HUGE issue, but absolutely not the issue you’re referring about).

We lost on niflhel although we played good thats the difference. Niflhel is not a free win for us like foefire is for TP and since everyone is doing mistakes from time to time its was just a matter of time for TP to win niflhel and the whole final.

This thread is just stupid. we were told to play bo5 cause it was 20:30 gmt and enough time for 5 exciting matches. we couldve said that we are not playing if its bo5 but we didnt. we didnt even say that we prefer to play bo3. We lost because we did some small mistakes and TP outplayed us very good. No one was tired or not concentrated.

Wooooow Ferik u hit r 20 it took u probably about 2-3 days to get there its absolutely understandable that u want access to all pvp armors after so much hard work.

since HPTLs topic was closed for no reason ill open it again. Right now necros are able to camp under the bridge at lower buff using their 1,2k range non vision aoe autoattack to keep everyone from taking the buff. 1 necro is able to bunker 3+ people if your team decide not to go for the buff you need at least 2 ppl to bunker it cause necros can easly solo eles, wars, guards, mesmers…

retaliation depends on power not condition dmg a guard with shaman’s amulet deals almost no dmg with retaliation: 198,45 + (0,075 * 916) = 267,15 | 7200/267,15= 26,95

This thread is just a big mimimimimimimi from alle skilless autoattack rangers.
Retaliation is pretty much the only defence a guardian has against a 1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 spamming ranger without it everyone could just max range autoattack a guardian down. Right now the chance to survive a trapper 1v1 is about 30-60% (a ranger on equal skill can always kill u) and if the ranger is low on hp he just disengage regenerate and push again. without retaliation the chance to survive a 1v1 against any ranger is about 1%. Instead of crying u should learn to use 2-9 and you are fine.
