They haven’t said anything about adding new rings and stuff in the next patch, only Armour and weapons. So i doubt it unfortunately.

I don’t feel that people are standing up for the game enough. I mean for £40 ($60) how could you have not said ‘Money well spent’ cause i tell you i have spent well over a month game-time and you can play for just as long without paying a penny more than the cost of the game. Best £40 I’ve ever spent.

I don’t get why Anet hasn’t added Valkyrie ascended rings, accessories and back pieces into the game. Really i don’t understand why, it really annoys me as i have 65 Laurels and I’ve been sitting on them in hope Anet would add new ascended items and now were getting ascended armors and weapons which is great, but why no new rings, accessories, back pieces etc? But moreover why have rings that have stats that are: Healing power, Toughness and Power? Who uses that?! Valkyrie is one of the most popular choices in gear that many people use. So why isn’t it part of the Ascended family? I know there’s a Toughness, Power, Crit dam ascended gear but if you have a low health pool whats the point in it, and vitality is better.

Sorry for the long post, it just annoys me a lot. (Hopefully getting a reply from a Devolper for a reason why) . Feel free to give me your thoughts and feelings, thanks.

Recently there has been a new addition of Black Lion tickets and scraps which can be found in Black lion chests. I was thinking to myself of a trading merchant where you can trade unwanted items from Gemstore which you may have got from chests or bought with gold or real money for Black Lion ticket scraps.
Here’s an example: I have in my bank a Total make-over kit i got from a Black Lion chest and i don’t want to throw it away is it would seem wasteful but i don’t need to use it either, so it just sits in my bank gathering dust and using up space. If i could trade that Total make-over kit for ‘x’ Black Lion ticket scraps it would solve this problem, therefore i can save up and get something i like, like the new Aetherized weapon skins added in the new patch which can be bought with a Black Lion ticket

Here is what i would see it to be, listing a few items:

Total make-over kit = 5 Black lion ticket scraps
Self-style Hair kit = 3 Black Lion ticket Scraps
3 Boosters (any) = 1 Black Lion ticket scraps
3 Box o’ fun = 2 Black Lion ticket scraps
Etc. (This is just for example, and how i would see it, all random.)

Please give me your thoughts and any Constructive criticism you may have!

Hello all!

Im a very experienced GW2 player and have a fully geared Berserker Warrior and a Berserker Thief and i feel that Thief’s are far more inferior to Warriors let me explain why…
Warriors have much greater DPS
Warriors have much greater Health pool and survivability (Thief gets downed in 2-3 hits)
Warriors only need to use Greatsword about 90% of the time whilst Thief needs to constantly switch.
That is only some of the reasons

Although Thiefs have blinds, dazes, stealth i still feel they are all together a watered down warrior somewhat

Thief’s need a buff whether it be in DPS, Health pool, Survivability

Please feel free to contribute to the thread, Please no immature replies and for anyone who wants to know i run a 0/0/30/20/20 build on my thief

Silver, Thanks for the post, very helpful indeed, I was thinking of running with a 0/0/20/20/30 build. As for weapons what would you use in terms of stats? Power/Vitality and Condition? Im not entirely sure if you added this in your post (If you did im sorry!)

Hello Everyone!

I have recently came back to my Thief and was wondering if anyone could give my an idea for a high survivability and DPS build. I quit my thief because of the low health pool and the fact that i got downed too quickly and frequently in dungeons and PVE in general because i was using a glass cannon build.

Im looking for a build orientated around Condition damage and survivability.
It would be a great help if anyone could tell me what Gear, Traits, Rune, Weapons, Sigils etc that they use. Im pretty much clueless so any help would be much appreciated!

Also a quick note this build will be very primarily focused around PVE and Dungeons, Like high level Fractals, Citadel of the flame.
