Guild Wars 2

Sooo i’m trying to find out if there are any NA guilds out there that are solely focused on raids.

- Something that doesn’t require you to rep unless you’re raiding with the guild.
- I have pretty much no experience in raids, so newbie friendly would be great. (I have all classes, willing to run meta builds for raids)

Raids are a part of the game I really want to do, but have been hard pressed to find numbers and people willing to teach newbies.
Sorry for the horrible explanation of what i’m looking for, but you’re in/run a guild like this, I would most definitely love to hear about it!

Hey all!
So since launch Ranger has been my main, but with this latest patch my build has gone down the toilet. Not wanting to be a ‘All I do is heal’ machine, or a ‘Pew Pew’ Ranger, i’m thinking making the Mesmer my main! I mainly play PvE with growing interest in WvW. With this i’d like to try something a little different I guess?

Was just wondering if anyone out there had a great Condi build that uses the chrono trait line, can hold it’s own in PvE as well as support parties pretty well, but also carries over rather smoothly into WvW (Not a huge fan of having 4337483 armor/weapon sets in my bank)
No idea if a build like this is viable? Never delved to much into the Mesmer!

Can’t help but feel the other game modes suffer when Anet throws out nerfs solely for PvP. SotP cd increased by 15 seconds?! Druid being next to useless unless you gear up ONLY toward healing power? Stuff like that is fine in PvP when you don’t have to COMPLETELY re work your build and re craft all your gear. In my case I managed to make a build that suited my small guilds needs perfectly, being able to chuck out some decent enough heals, while also contributing some damage and survivability of my own to the fight. Now it feels if you want to heal even remotely decently, you have to tunnel vision into healing power, and do ONLY that during a fight? Again, fine for PvP I guess?

I accept this is a pretty big knee jerk response, and this is from the point of view of a PvE main. Guess we can only wait and see if Anet rolls back on some decisions, or just apply them to PvP, or just give us Ranger players some love some time soon!

Heya! Friend made a f2p acc to have some fun in PvP with me. They did the race intro mission and got to level 2 but can’t access the PvP lobby (Crossed swords icon does nothing)? I read they were the only things needed to get into the lobby, or am I mistaken?

A couple of times throughout the JP, some big rolling snowballs have been invisible… causing a fair few ‘Wait WTF’ moments. Could be on my end, seen a few people complaining about it in chat. Just wanted to bring light to a possible bug, thanks!

Long story very short I suck at making cohesive builds for classes. I’m looking for a bit of help in making a Tanky/Supportive (Not healing)/Walking buff machine Rev… If that makes any sense? Probably not. I know Glint would be a KEY thing in making this build work, then I was thinking Jalis as well? So if anyone out there can fill this void in my soul i’d love to hear from you

We aren’t large very (21 members currently) and are looking to continue expanding in preparation for HoT so we can take full advantage of all it has to offer. We’re pretty laid back, don’t really care for the current meta, however you like your character built is how it is. Hello there! With HoT being just around the metaphorical corner, a whole wave of new things will soon be added to Tyria, and preparations are indeed in order!

Rimfire is looking to grow and expand a little, which is where you come in. We are looking to recruit new and veteran players alike, that are looking for somewhere to learn and grow/ Kill and mess some stuff up, all while having a great laugh along the way. We put a great value on mate-ship, as really we’re all here for some top notch fun!

About Us:
Server – We are based on Sorrow’s Furnace (Preferred but not necessary at all).
VoIP – We have our own TS3 server.
Play type – We mainly focus on PvE (Dungeons/Fractals/World Bosses/ Map Completion etc) and sometimes settle in for some WvW Shenanigans.
The Guild – We’re indeed a small guild with 13 players at the moment. Most guildies so far are Australian, however being an Aussie definitely isn’t necessary. We aren’t ones that go crazy over meta and things, you like your character like that? Awesome!

However, I co-run a guild called Rimfire. We are definitely small with 11 members at the moment, we see this as an advantage though as you will meet everyone you would be playing with! We are pretty casual with no real schedule, we just go where ever the game takes us. Our main presence is in PvE (Dungeons/World Bosses/Fractals/Map Complete etc), however we have recently been venturing into WvW more and more, causing some chaos haha! We have our own TS3 server which we use as our main form of communication. The overall vibe of the whole guild is a relaxed one, we don’t really care for whatever the hot new meta is, you like your character stated and traited that way? Awesome!

I love GW2, but now a year after release it seems to be running a bit dry.
After all the definition for insanity is doing the same thing over again hoping for a different outcome… which is what I seem to be doing lately and i’m sure I could say the same for some others.

The game has been the same for a whole year now.. Yes it has had some great inclusions, tweeks and other bits & bobs, but I personally would love to see the PvE world expanded, along with another class and another race to play.

This would add such a refreshment to the game, doing something different other than the standard things.

I’m sure a few might disagree but hey, everyone to their own!
