thanks for the heads up
I just gotta LoL at all the gear QQ’ing from so called full time WvW’ers.
If you want the hawt gear, ya gots to pay your dues to go get it. It really isn’t much (psst…that’s why they say there isn’t a gear grind…you don’t have to kill 15k mobs in the hopes of one single drop). A couple of days max doing that icky pve and then you can go pew-pew instead of QQ.
Much, much more hard core pvp MMO’s than GW:2 have pve gathering in order for you to have the resources and/or gear drops to up your pvp game. It’s just the way it works kids. Now let that sink in and get over it already.
And yeah, totally agree, the ascended gear that’s in game atm is not a substantial enough boost to be crying this much over.
And yeah, yeah. Agree that WvW rewards should/need to be better.
Most idiotic post I’ve seen in a long, long time. LOL at you and your belief that it will take “a couple days max.”
Got 2 vials and I’m only level 2..
That’s Anet for ya.
please invite!

Anet can learn a thing or two (or a lot, actually) from Riot in terms of dev communication with their player base.
How utterly kitten is it that some traits discourage using your F1 skill by giving you increased damage when you have full adrenaline? How does that even make sense? I just don’t even understand some of the designs in gw2.
I agree 100% with the OP. I still don’t understand how these bugs have not been fixed (as well as the many bugged Runes). But of course, knowing Anet, don’t expect a response any time soon.
I wish Anet’s communication was as good as Riot. Seriously, I know I’m going a little off topic here, but check out the League of Legends forums and you’ll see a Riot response in almost every important thread. They don’t leave their playerbase in the dark like Anet often does.
Why does OP care if other people are doing it? How does it affect OP? If others are doing it, what does it matter to you?
Some people don’t make sense to me.
add me. I’m always down to do some coe
yes add me as well!
^mind if I ask what your entire build is? including sigils, runes, trinkets, etc. thanks!
I expect a response from someone on anet to come shortly since they seem to come into these positive threads and tend to ignore the negative ones.
pretty sad that this community is filled with immature a-holes.
ignore cbuzz and cptbadger too, btw. if you read around the forums much, you actually start to feel bad for them
thanks OP for posting!

Dungeons are meant to be challenging, fun, and rewarding – all at the same time. The fact that there are countless players who avoid doing dungeons entirely speaks for itself. There are three main complaints about the dungeons in GW2.
1) Mindless zerging allows people to finish a dungeon without actually having to coordinate their attacks, thus removing the “skill” element from the game.
2) Insane repair costs accrued from gear damage
3) Players simply don’t feel rewarded after completing a dungeon
What’s the solution?
Remove gear durability when doing dungeons, remove the waypoint in dungeons, and make the loot a lot better / make it class specific.
What does this accomplish?
It discourages unprepared, unskilled players from zerging dungeons and will actually force people to coordinate and complete the dungeon the way it’s meant to be played. With the removal of waypoints, players simply cannot just unload cooldowns, die, rez at waypoint, rinse, repeat. This will also allow players to attempt dungeons as many times as they want without losing any money from repair costs. People can then go in any dungeon and fail it the first few times, but they don’t actually lose anything except their time. On the other hand, they gain valuable experience from actually playing the dungeon and can attempt it many other times without the fear of losing a bunch of money on repair costs. The third point is self-explanatory.
Obviously, there are many more problems concerning dungeons (getting one-shotted, mob/boss health too high, etc.), but I think removing waypoints and repair costs in dungeons will make things a lot better.
Thoughts?
