i realy like it, it gives me tankieness and pretty much perma 25 stack of might thanks to mass momentum/ juggernaut traits combo.
But right now im wondering wich amulet combine with wich rune will be better for my build,
in one hand soldier give more raw power and more tank stat in pther hand celestial provide some nice crit and condi dmg but lacking in tanky department
My question is wich one is better in your opinion considering my build:
1. Soldier amulet with strengh rune
2. Celestial amulet with durability rune ,or myabe
3.Soldier with durabilty or
4. Celestial with strengh
maths carculations are welcome
if u have any sugestion in sigil choices i will gladly hear it cause im a bit afraid of having too many sources of might.

First and the most important rule in playing condi engi and being good at him:
COVERING CONDITIONS- its your most immortant task, apply as many diffrent condi as u can before u will go with your main source od dmg (burn!) thats why u start fight from range using pistol/pistol letting u apply many diffrent condis ( i love taking sigil of torment-just to get another condi on enemy) having 6,7 condi on him force your enemy to use condi cleans, than u go with burning

its diffrent build from others but it provide one of the highest burn potential…. dont be afraid of turrets. They are your utility tools . In this build u doing everything to immobilize enemy and let them suffer from yours burns wich many comes from fire fields.
Net turet: thanks to trait its source of switnfness fo wjhole team it also gives u access to 3 immobi. and 2 sec. stun
Flame turret: 3 stack of might for all , great source of burn stacking and nice F fire field:) oh yes and blind condi for extra cover , protect
all turrest give u nice reflection field that brings 20 s of protection from projectiles
u can detonate all turrets to get 4000 dmg ( plus 4000 dmg by detoante supply crate’s turrets )and u can go to 18 stacks of might for whole party. Having access to 2 flame turrets 2 healing turrets and 2 net turrets makes u scary in teamfights. Just remmber to deotante them if u see they focusing your turrets
in post above yours im talking about dungeons…. they give u much more gold, just do quick math.
but u still geting 30 silver for every match why not reword someone who wining game.
every path from dung give u around 2 g doing 3 paths give u 6 g and moe or less its 30-40 min of work its your money( im not count tokens and chest drp) … u have 8 dungs in game
to get 6g in pvp u must no lifing whole day…is this right to u ?
lol i have my wings already :P… but hey just tell me your secret to get more gold in pvp, cause u know if u counting selling item from reword track i will tell u just go for one h into silverwaste and sell items u get from that and make comparison to item u get from playing one h in pvp…
im not saying u get nothing in pvp, the gap between this two is just too big ….my opinion
and sorry having 150-250 gold was suppose to impress ?? man its not even taht much money, if u will play pve u would be much wealthier

wut ???? i said im bored right now not idc but still i want that new shiny outfits i still want to be able to buy rares and throwing them into mystc toilet, i still want do other legendary weapons… if u want farming silverwaste over and over again -fine , its your game, your choice im rolling in pvp and i want to be reworded for that, im not asking for much !

i love playing pvp , i play it almost exclusvily cause im bored with pve stuff and one thing drive me crazy : why in the hell there is so big gap in gold income between pve and pvp…like really u can do one path on AC in 10 minute and get more gold than playing couple hours in pvp matches, why is that?
is A -net guys afraid of pvp gold farmers? hell yeah! so make simple move and let as get more gold by wining ranked matches- it will prevent farmers from exploit it and encourge new players to try pvp and play rankeds more often …
its really sad that today if u not doing pve stuffs( silverwaste, dungs) u are broken begger.
My idea is 1 gold for win match in ranked
0.5 gold fr lse in lose ranked
and 30 silvers fr unranked
we pvp players deserve being wealthy to show pve scumbs we can als throwing rares to mystic forge hoping for dusk and downs
btw I want my mysitc forge in HOTM back !

as i said at start of my post i was trying find ways to make turrets viable in game cause im big fan of them.Im not saying they are the most powerfull build and yes HGH is maybe easier to stack might but also gives u less utility and cc. I Just post them cause they are diffrent from “normal” builds and i find it pretty effective.
What gives u turrets wich HGH oriented builds lacks :
AOE boons buff for whole team in teamfights: depent of turrets choice : u giving swiftness( net tuuret) , vigor( healing turret), 3 stack of free aoe might( flameturret) or if u liking u can go “knock back” cc – god mode with acces to 7,8 knock backs just by using thumper turrets and equiping shield in off hand. Its all about CC that HGH lacks.
IF use NET turret right u immob. enemy for 5 sec its massive help to easy stack burn on them with your F1.2,3,4 ability, at start of a match u also giving 13 s of switfness to your teammates just by put down net turret
if use flame turret combine with flamethrower 5 ability u have acces to great 2 blinds in a row
More immortant u can create reflective fields that can last 20 s with supply crate…wich is masive defence tool vs " meta" mesmers
remmember u can use your healing turret’s water field and detonate turrets as ways to healing your party in teamfights wich triggers also burnig passive from balthazar rune
HGH is just dull selfish road with little to no cc, my build prevent great supportish playstyle with a lot of dmg,…
IN PVP controling battlefield is very immportant, its not only about raw power, with supply crate u can having 2 net turrets wich give two 5 s immob, 2 flame tuurets with blinds and free 6 stack of might and burn for whole teammates.
in my build turrets are not this pre nerf no-brainer unbeatable tools of passive boring play. U need stop treating them like “minions”, as u said after they give u boons , reflective shields cc and condi u detonate them for aoe dmg, heal and might stack for whole team, just treat them like verstile abilities.
now what give u HGH:
-SELF might stacking with very little team support-
-NO CC
-cooldowns are higher than this for turrets
- Elixir b and S are great but u can have them passivley by taking alchemy tree
stcking them makes no sense, cause having 2 elixir S prevent u from keeping point too hard and in todays condi burst days automatic ELIxir S isuper effective and gives u time to your automat response trait to trigger
for most cases battle are quick so your elixir B from trait is enough and u dont need second one.
as for pve buld i made it for fun its great alternative, if someone wants try something new. Its maybe not as strong as" meta" but its so funny and super effective….i think u wanted to having here creative builds so here are my builds as engi veteran….
right now im almost pvp exclusive player with doing dungs for money as we know pvp reword system sucks balls, so i can asure my builds works

i like turrets and flamethrower, there were always my fantasy for engis so i was trying find ways to make them works decent build for pvp and pve dung/fractals:

build havy around stacking “burn” from pistol off-hand, flamethrower and flameturret.
Turrets in this build are more utility tools.
-Thanks to turreter traits u have acces to great amount of boons ( swiftness, might, vigor), cc (net turret: 5 sec immob baby !) , dmg and so strong right now massive reflection field wich synergise well with supply crate giving u easy time vs these pisky mesmers or rangers .
- thanks to chosen trais road u are tanky with a lot of ( for engi ofc) condi cleans, alot of boons wich makes u tanky as hell : if u have 8 boons on u with protection u have 49 % dmg reduction thanks to "iron blooded " trait.
- reflective shields create by turrets let u not going with shiled as weapon so u can equip pistol to your offhand and be rael gunslinger
PVE
BERK FOREVER ! might stacking god:
Berk are still in meta in dungs and fractals and even i would enjoy very much condi party, berk are just better, sadly…
in this build u are might stacker: easy perma 25 might stack for youself and easy 18 migt for your party …what i like about this build is jaggernaut trait, going with perma stability makes every dungs or fractals easy :P nothing looks beter than dmg from flamethrower with 25 stack on u….
u also giving fury and vigor for whole team wich is massive
and again reflective shield traits work in some dungs fractals greatly—who cares guards if u have engi.
if u dont like invention road go explosive wich works great with detonbate turets as they are explosive.
your main combo is :
-put your 3 turrets down wait boss to come to your stack place
-put fire field
-detonate turrets
- use orbital strike
-change to rifle
-use 5,3 rifle ability combo
-if it is one boss stay shoting with rifle
- if it is gruop back to flamthrower autoatck
u can change flamethrower to bomb kit if u need some stealth stacking….just use smoke bomb and detonate your turrets

i play a lot pvp and after patch i discover that in the same set (rabid one) my engi has around 3 k hp less wtf ?? they promise as they will return hp to as in baseline but its not true when im switching to carrion i have almost 25 k hp its insane….i love playing rabid thanks to great syngery precsionto condi dmg and critc trigger traits. New condi buffs makes u die even faster
and less hp makes it even harder to u to standing alive… mind i went with alchemy and invention specialisation i cant even imagine now playing with full dmg oriented build likr tools and explosion
i think “the lose” u are talking about was moved into baseline…it realy would be stupid to nerf one of the most underplayed kit…
but man i love stability on that…imagine keeping point in pvp , freaking harpies in fractals and etc…no fear im standing right here and will burn u down as it shuld be …
one thing bother v me : no nepalm specilaist and lack of others burn orianted traits can make tihngs harder- what point in stacking burning if u dont have many sources of this condi …atleast i can see return of p/p flamthrower, flame turrets builds
WOW it would be awesome to find new ways of playing as engi
here is mine engi in his berseker Pve suit, i think simplicity works for asura so no fancy, shiny things are needed
this build is not "the best one " it has flaws:
u are very vurnability againts heavy condi dealer( dah like all engies ) personally i find necros pain in kitten …
if your enemy is smart and good enough he can beat u from long range cause u sacriface range by not taking granade kit… but its not a big deal, u must hold point as long as u can so if that fool tryiing kill u for 2, 3 min its alright cause u got that point not them… maybe they will kill u in the end but u will back and take whats your with no problem. Also u have very little stability , so be carefull using your rumble skill, it last only 1 1/4 s…u are also lacking any stun breakers thats why i go self regulating defence trait.
Recently i find rise of Power longbow Rangers and Warriors thats why we have ours shields so they can kill themselfs
typical match scenario:
u going to the point where u think there will be teamfight (u trying sit on flamethrower to have stacks of might):
u use your elite to stun them and make chaos in battlefield-> use your turrets and thier secondary ability-> place fire field-> detonate them-> watch your might goes up-> switch to pistol/shield-> shield yourself from burst dmg->put covering condis->switch back to flamethrower-> burn them down
tips:
-at start of the match use your net turret to speed up your whole team, i was shocked how rare in solo ranked game people taking aoe switfness skills, dont be selfish make them be first to take point.
- try safe your knockbacks -train after enemy use thier stability, its so funny when they trying take point and u pushing them back inturrepting their skills
- when u not fighting be on your flamethrower to have might on u all the time, switch to pistol only to cover your burns or when u need shot them from range
-try fight only in "point area ", thanks to all knockbacks u will neutral and get point with no problem so even if in the end they will kill u , it was worth it.
after watching changes in upcoming heart of thrrones i find my build will be even stronger:
flamethrower will be stability monster so none will be able to knock u back from your point
all plenty blast finishers u have acess to wil give u so many benefits so u will be healthy engi with nice condi removal…i just cant wait what hummer will bring to the table
i hope my build helps someone discover new ways of playing their turret oriented engi, we not let nerfs bring as down

after nerfs to turrets im trying to find ways to make them work…for me and my fantasy about engi he always was and will be around turrets,
saying that i hated full turreters , cause they were so lame to play with. so after many tries i make this build and think its work pretty well, if u have any idea how make it even better please tell me
my thinking process :
pistol/shield- condi pressure, defence from "power rangers " :P
im runing rabid amulets for tankieness and important critic chance to trigger my sigils choice:
-sigil of strengh- nice might is nice andin this build u will be very bossy arond might stackng
-sigil of torment- cover condi( run mesmers run and die !!:P)
balthazar runes – so great dps burst to this build i just love this burn after i use my healing turret ")
as u can see im playing with:
’-3 turrets: healing, net and thumper, in my build they are all about cc control my opponent.
-4th ability will be flamethrower i know its not the most powerfull kit but i just love it burn them down.
thanks to accelerant packed turrets flamethrower’s air blast and shield’s magnetic inversion i have access to 6 knockbacks in very short time( yay every points are mine !)
and here is a deal : after nerfs turrets are no more your “place them and forget” tools so u may try my way of playing them – EXPLODE. Do not be afraid to detonate them. In this build turrets are all about give u so much needed in pvp CC, boons ( thanks to experimental turrets u have access to swiftness, vigor and protections, mind u it works for all your teammates so u are support them well) and might( by stacking it by detonate them in napalm fire field 0 might for all- take it )… its also free your engi so u can roam more often and helps others.
net turrets- great syngergy with sitting duck trait so with thumper turrets u amke them cripple a lot not mention vurnability.
thumper turrets is one turrets wich is still very strong cc monster must have
healing turrets- always detoante it after u put it down and use secondary effect, be quick it wll not live long!!,especcialy now
flamethrower- its so awesome underestimate by many kit. Its great hybrid power/condi tool. Thanks to juggernaut trait it give u tankieness, a lot of might , great long live fire field, short cooldown knockback, blind condi, great power burst from falme blust and nice short range AOE…in this build u are sitting on 18- 25 stack of might so just imagine how much dmg u will deal if enemy are standing close to each other. BURN FOOLS BURN !!
i was not carrying that much about this turrets nerf until i discover how big punch was it to ours only one" good to go" elite skill – supply crate.Now we dont have any powerfull elite,, yeah stun is good healing too but its hit overall very much ours dmg output, its sad more over we hae not any alternative skill, hope they give us something more.
