So after taxes u net 25s…That may be ok for some, but I would definitely like to net more profit than that.
That’s 6.25 G for 25 charges, To purchase a BLSK is 300 gems or at current rate 44G roughly. That is a large loss.

Its propably because alot of players calculate like you do and dont think its worth it that its actually worth it for those that have a better understanding of the matter.
Actually, i was just using one example. But never once did i make this a matter of judging someones understanding and assuming someone doesn’t know anything. Salvaging insignias are not guaranteed. In fact in my experience I don’t receive the them more often than actually getting them. Some people actually prefer making larger returns than smaller ones. It is a preference. As for calculations, math is math. Not sure how you can really calculate differently when it comes to profit? Regardless, instead of criticizing someone, maybe offering a solution or an example WITH numbers or facts to express your point, would be a better option.
I am not judging anybody, i just stated that people, who ignore the value of ectos, inscriptions and common mats when salvaging, will calculate a different profit than someone who actually does value them.
Yes this is true, but even saying you get the 3 ecto (86s after taxes), shamans insignia (1.53G after taxes), 3 ori (11s after taxes) plus rune (25s) you are looking at 2.75G per charge. Therefore, if you were to buy a kit outright with gems thats 300 gems or 44G, so 1.75G per charge subtracted from 2.75G, you make 25 gold a kit. which is good if you get kit for free for some people. But it my eyes im losing 19G. If that makes sense.
I dont see how you lose 19g, if you buy a kit for 44g, use it up and make 69g profit after taxes.
I stand corrected, that is correct. My apologies. Hence 1G/charge, I feel over all there could be better options to get more out of using a kit is such a matter though.
BUT, back to the original topic, regardless of using kits for making any profit, still doesn’t mean stacking them should be an issue.

I’ll admit, I do have a pile of these around 45 full kits. I only use them to salvage exo’s i don’t forge, and to get specific runes, etc. I haven’t had the time to actually find a profitable way to use the kits that I would like to do. In the meantime I would just like them to take up less space. Any push in the right direction for ways to make me use these more often I would gladly consider. Even if its just an idea to research. I am not asking for someone to give away their trade secrets. Just for some ideas.
Is there any chance of this happening? I think after 2.5 years, and mass amount of players opening up BLC, many have most likely obtained a large amount of black lion salvage kits. I’m sure for most they are just taking up excess space in bank tabs that can be used for other things. Thoughts??
Not sure if this idea has been brought up, but with the game now heading towards an account bound status over soul bound, I was thinking that it would be possible to now add some new items to the account wallet to better convenience the player base. Such items to include would be salvage kits, to include the copper-matic, and all the account bound gathering tools. This will allow for smoother play when switching among characters when the main account has possession of these account bound items already. Currently, players have to deposit their account bound items in their bank if they plan to use them on another character. With the new changes coming up in the feature patch, it would make more sense to implement this idea in the future.

The attached photos show the clipping issue with the “infused fractal capacitor”. Its clear in the photo that the armor pieces basically completely cover the back piece, and also cover many others from being seen on the outside.
