I hope they add legendary effects to all grenades then seeing as that was the trait that enabled me to have my plasma nades from predator…the only reason I crafted that legendary.
I’ve found that if you need more dodges you can go 6/6/0/2/0 with the swiftness on crit in the precision line and then vigor when having swiftness in the 2nd to the last line. Slightly lower dps but it makes the troll a lot easier along with the butcher in p1.
So was running arah p3 earlier. A guildy invites a friend along. I ask him what sort of build he was using on guardian. He said a tanky pvt build. I groaned and just accepted my fate. First and last run i ever did with that person
But it was funny listening to him lmao
Tried to rez during the trash run after hunter/crusher….find a sudden chaos storm atop his body… Rez downed guard, never again. Easier to 3 man mage crusher for wp.
Practice stealth blasting rotations in CM p1 basement without traiting stealth. Also trash runs in arah are fun for practicing stealth blasting. Especially if you have an elementalist that can assist by using dragons tooth at each stealth location so you can lay your black powder under it. Because stealthing is fun.
6/6/0/0/2 main build
5/6/0/3/0 if you need nearly infinite evades
Invigorating precision is OP for Arah p1 champs and killing Belka.
Thrill of the crime can help if your party Isn’t giving swiftness/fury. (I like to pop it after a stealth blasting the beginning of a long trash run by untargeted stealing)
Signet of agility is amazing
Signet of shadows is ok for trash running where one would not wish to enter any form of combat and wouldn’t need any extra dodges otherwise it’s the signet of bad (although I’ve seen some use it for the might on signet use)
I’m currently working towards it, I have HotW and TA left…HotW is somewhat painful although I’ve now learned how to dodge the tells for the troll at sub 200ms ping and 220-300 ms ping (fluctuations of 60+ms during his jump makes evading that near impossible due to the timing of avoiding the initial kd hit and the shock wave that happens after) Also I’ve found in HotW p2 that Engi is extremely fun (my main class is thief)
I currently need 1680 tokens for TA (for the remaining weapons and armor) and 3270 HotW tokens which will be a pain seeing as most people don’t like running anything but P1, and I can’t stand not meleeing the troll.
According to my spreadsheet it’s 10290 tokens per dungeon 4140 being for the armor and 6150 for the weapons unless my spreadsheet is wrong :o
The biggest problem besides the direct damage burst potential of non conditions…Is the over writing of conditions by non condi specced classes and the condition cap. Also with that in mind there wouldn’t be any need for maybe more than one condition user if the encounter required it.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Might
“With 25 stacks of might at level 80, the bonus is +875 Power and Condition Damage.”
I feel… strong!
There’s the power.
Ah, such might!
I feel like I’m 6 ft tall! (Asura)
Pugging AC is solid proof people hate themselves. It’s one of the worst things you can do.
Pugging CM can be more painful
Skipping mobs is fun! Then again I main thief and the art of synergy in a party and your smoke fields/blasts/shadow refuge is such a thrill! -.- until someone lags and misses a pulse of stealth or walks through the SR…then that’s no fun
Also, If people oppose stealth or prefer to kill every single mob. I request that they fight the enemies right before Giganticus Lupicus (champion orrian warrior and the illusionists…just saying they’re a pain) And having to fight Korga who is right before the last boss in path 1 of arah =P
Another dungeon that is extremely annoying in regards to trash. Try running most of CM without stealth or tons of condi clears/reflects…see how that goes
Almost forgot, the barrels in Path 2 of CM…Ya enjoy doing that and trying to kill all the bandits :P
:( I feel you regarding the large amounts of emp fragments and bloodstone dust. I recently deleted roughly 4 stacks of each seeing as I have over 110 completed stars and over 140 completed bricks along with another good 6 stacks of each of the unrefined versions in my bank not including all the other characters I do dungeons with that have a few stacks on them…The only thing I’m generally missing is the dragonite, and I’m still burnt out from them being the thing to do almost a year ago.
@ OP
Oh sure, wanting to make stealth not viable. So much thief hate for the little utility they are able to bring.

I used to run Knights on my thief before I switched to zerk…When I made the switch I still got hit for mostly the same amount (with knights I could survive 1.kittens, in full zerk I die in 1…not much of a change) I was also running 0/30/20/20/0 at the time instead of the 25/30/0/0/15 but with a thief if you build tanky you’re losing out on the one thing you can be, a catalyst for damage. Otherwise you’re just someone to deploys stealths and blinds. Which is useless regarding blinds against dredge and the stealth is useless unless the party is organized enough to use it. If the party doesn’t want to skip areas of mobs then the stealth is also worthless which would leave thieves as not being able to give much that is of use (from what I’ve heard anything thief support can be done far better with other classes and those classes don’t lose out on their damage). Just my two cents worth.
