I searched and didn’t see a topic on this, so I’m starting one now.

I buy minis and collect them and would like see minis re enable themselves after “being hidden because of rising player population”. How about “unhiding” them when population falls rather than completely ’unchecking" them?

I’m really tired of having to ‘recheck’ my mini when I never ‘unchecked’ it; there’s no point in having them if they don’t come back/never show. It is affecting my ‘buying from the store’; why spend my gems on a mini if it is always hidden?

You fixed toys.. fix minis, please. Just make it so that they come back after the population drops, or if that’s not possible, put a timer on them to come back after a certain time?

DO NOT make more than one purchase attempt, no matter what the web site tells you.

I tried at around 7 am to purchase gems using my PayPal account. I received the message “Unfortunately there was an error with the payment provider. Please try again later. If this error persists please contact customer care.”

I figured perhaps I had typed my password in wrong, so I tried again….same message.

Hmm must be PayPal since the popup says it’s the payment provider, so I will try my credit card… same message (yes, that’s 3…) Ok better call my bank. Bank says everything is fine on my end. Hmm..Ok..message says try again later…well I’ll try again now just for good measures, it’s been 20 minutes (what’s “later” anyway?"…that’s 4) Same message.. OK, must be Anet; better customer support like they said (when all else fails follow the directions, right?) Oh..they’ll want to know what that message was, so PayPal again..(5!) to copy down error message.

It’s later, right? yeah, and hour later..ok.. try again with PayPal (that’s 6..I really want those wings!) .. same message. Darn..guess no gems/wings today.

Suddenly…..BING!!(email from gw2…) “Thank you for your gem card purchase!!” Uh oh…. BING, OH NOOO!!

BING, BING, BING, BING.. all about 10 min apart. Talk about purchase lag!?
“Thank you for your gem card purchases!!!” (all 5 PayPal purchases, cc didn’t go through, YET)

That’s what happened on my end… hope you figure out what’s going on on yours. Thanks for all your hard work, Anet. Is there a guild commendation vendor in the guild hall somewhere (perhaps in part we haven’t opened yet)?
I can find one in the guild hall area in Lion’s Arch and in the Terrace but not in the guild hall.

There is one for Living world, open world content, dungeons, etc….REALLY, REALLY need one for Raid, Please.

During this generous season of celebration and giving, our small guild created this Wintersday tree to decorate our guild hall and create a festive atmosphere for our guildies.

Due to the Scrooge-like market prices of scribal materials caused by the scarcity of brown pigment from jungle plants which are apparently few and far between because of the ravages of Mordremoth and shortsighted A-Net scribe crafting developers, piles of snow and baskets were all we could afford.
(Special thanks to our guild leader for his ingenious use of sub par available materials; and our ‘snow angel’ who will be sitting out the Wintersday festivities to adorn the top of our ‘tree’.)

The Dusk collection is bugged for me.

Even though I bought it, it doesn’t not show up as a collection, nor does it show up on the vendor again. It shows up for other people but not me. I tried purchasing other collections and they show up both as collections in the achievement panel and on the vendor still..,,but Dusk has completely disappeared … =(

Ok..Dusk is apparently bugged for me, I filed a bug report.

I talked to someone in LA who could see it even though they had started the collection; it was on the vendor for them still. Also I can see the collections for Incinerator, Kudzu, Predator, and Predator, all of which I’ve started..they all show up on all my characters in the Achievements panel and all show up on the vendor still but Dusk is nowhere to be found as a collection weapon achievement or as a vendor item.

(I know it’s at the bottom, I found it there and bought it, but it’s not to be found now.) Please help.

Why do all the other ones I’ve started show up then, and in my collection as well as on the vendor still? I can’t see Dusk even in the vendor for sale. (the recipe) But I can see incinerator, and several others in my collections as well as on the vendor still?

I have started Kudzu (purchased the collection item from Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs) on my ranger and received the first bloom from Vinewrath. I also purchased Dusk from him and was going to start that on my mesmer. But I can’t seem to find Dusk in the collection now and the recipe is no longer on the vendor.

Do I have to complete Kuzdu collection first before I can start Dusk? Or am I missing something to be able to do them both but on different characters. Thank you.

Try leaving the instance, everyone that’s in it, and it might reset and the doors will then show up. Worked for us.

Update:
We got our guild hall..on our own; luckily we got 6 players together on Sunday and were able to defeat the modrem hordes.

But I would like to say that the next time you do an update on a Saturday (when a LOT of people are playing like after a MAJOR launch of new content that everyone would be doing when most of their guild was on….) and the update is something that could affect what those people are doing (like gathering together to do something like guild halls) that you REALLY need to put the notes up before the update (we did check for notes and there were none) OR put it in the announcement that you are doing an update that would affect game play. Had it been in the announcements that they were updating guilds and any progress would be interrupted, we would have updated first. In fact, we debated but figured since we had three hours and there were no update notes or warnings anywhere, it was probably a minor fix and we could continue.

I have seen many MMOs put world announcements up to warn players in the chat and world announcements. I know they can do it: “Please update before you attempt to claim your guild, this update will affect guild halls”. Simple, quick and to the point; would have saved us (and a lot of the guilds I saw standing at the guild portal waiting to go in) a lot of trouble and disappointment.

All in all, the guild halls are amazing! I’m super happy with the update. Thanks to all for the hard work and time you put in to create an awesome game. thumbs up

Same happened to us, unfortunately we only have a few people in our guild, so we had asked several others from other guilds to help us..

There were only 6 of us even with help from other guilds.. took us a bit but we got it done. I screen shot Kogga telling us we had won and to claim our guild and sent in a ticket. I don’t see us getting other people together like this (new game, weekend, people having taken time off work for the launch) to do it again.. we paid 100 gold and 150 influence, we won the event and were so excited to claim our new guild for our tiny guild…Please, it would be great if you activate the crystal for us since we did everything right on our end.

I’m not sure what your magic find is at, but if you’d like to increase it while getting around the “too many orders” dialoge, I tend to salvage everything but Exotics using a whatever salvage kit for greens and blues, and either a mystic salvage kit or a master’s salvage kit for rares (black lion salvage kits are the best but I ran out of them a long time ago). Then when I get a few runs I sell all those materials on the TP at once.

I can’t imagine the headache of trying to sell each piece of equipment one at a time.

That doesn’t address the main issue per se, but it’s how I deal with it so I thought I would pass it along.

Oh, and instead of clicking on those essence of lucks for eternity, you can use a lvl 0 artificer to combine them into much smaller, more easily manageable sizes to deal with, with no loss of luck.

I only sell stuff that’s over 1 silver, anything that’s exotic/rare I salvage unless it’s more than the cost of ectos. I’m trying to make money; I’ve gotten as much magic find as I care to have, since it’s basically worthless for me (over 5000 hours playing time and not one precursor and very rarely do I get exotics even with the silverwaste buffs.) My magic find is not that low. I’ve built it up since I started playing by salvaging almost everything I’ve ever gotten since I leveled my 9 toons. No more. It’s a waste of money.

It’s just that when one is standing in the Hidden Depths with luminescent hounds pouncing on me even when I’m trying to make room in my inventory to loot the chest…I REALLY don’t need to see “SORRY, you’re selling stuff too fast” … tell that to the hound some thoughtless person drug to the chest. Especially since the event is timed and I need to do it as fast as possible to gain tier 3 on the event. (the chests in the center count, you know, toward the tier completion) so going to the camp resolve vendor prior to the event to sell inventory is not an option. And salvaging for me is a waste of $ though I have done it when I’m stuck at the TP..and lose money in the process.

I just though it would be easy for Anet to fix it so it’s not so frustrating to sell stuff to make the game more user friendly; I guess not.. I’ll deal with it and live in hope that they can fix their ‘technical’ issue so that the TP works quicker.

You obviously have not played silverwastes, as most green items don’t sell on the TP. I sell most of them on the vendor.

THIS is getting INCREDIBLY annoying. I get a ton of things from Silverwastes and would really like to sell them on the Black Lion Trading Post quickly so that I can get back to actually playing…and I can understand if you are trying to avoid gold sellers or who- knows-what-else to make the game more enjoyable.

HOWEVER, I have played for over 5000 hours (and many of those standing at the BLTP trying to sell stuff); I am NOT a gold seller, nor am I trying to take advantage of any system..I am just TRYING to sell these things in my inventory so I can get on with playing. PLEASE fix this annoyance; at least increase the “too many sell orders” to over eight… ?? Eight is just ridiculously low.

Might I suggest awarding people who have more hours with a higher selling rate so that they CAN sell stuff (many hours = we’re not gold sellers) at least over 20 items; or giving that obnoxiousness to someone who hasn’t played as many hours or new accounts (since they MAY well be gold sellers).

Ok..I tried partying with a friend and NOT moving layers. I did NOT crash. So apparently it has to do with moving layers when joining groups from the LFG panel and then disbanding.

Whenever I drop group after transferring layers from one Silverwaste layer to another, my game crashes.

I tried changing characters; I tried having the groups kick me, nothing works. As soon as I drop group, I get the serious error and game closes.

Idk if this has anything to do with beta so I’m leaving the feedback here as well. (because I do have a beta character slot available and it’s the only thing I can think of that has changed since I did it last time.

I would like to see sets of the backpacks at the event vendors that include a pair of the back pack straps such as those that are available in the charr and quaggen packs available in the store. AND make the straps available at the vendors (or store) as a separate purchase for all these skins that I have that don’t have them now.

It is nice that they are not soul bound when used and I can wear the backpack on different characters until I decide on which one I’m going to leave it permanently (then I can transmute them to a stated back piece).
