Studying the combat log after dying 1v1 in WvW is see often skills repeating their damage (e.g. Vault). I thought when i am alone, i can only hit once with skills like this (number of targets 5). My question: is this a bug or a feature ? I didnt find the meaning of number of targets in wiki article for AOE.
I opened a ticket about lag spikes and err=7 since few days. The submit screen stated that ANET is aware of err=7 problems in EU and is working on it.
Today i could not even finish one sPvP match.
same problem on EU server Abbadons Mouth, mainly n * x seconds lag with with up to ca. 30 seconds total duration, sometimes err=7 crash. Any kind of PvP is unplayable like this (or better is kinda lottery). And it was not like this in beta and the first time after launch. Something changed in between. Lucky, that i did not bought any stuff in the ingame-store …
same here on EU server Abbadons Mouth since few days. Neither clientport:80 nor authserv:<fixed-ip> worked. sPvP and WvW is unplayable like this. GW1 with same PC has no problems like this. Today i thought /clientport:80 would be the solution but it was statistic effect only. i could play 4 sPvP games in a row but crashed sometime later again in WvW with the err=7.
For me and for today the solution in one of the tech support threads worked: Add /clientport:80 to the command line of a GW2 desktop shortcut. The explanation is, that GW2 uses port ranges which are throttled by some ISPs because they think its file-transfer traffic
Having the same problem: either freezing up to several seconds with a fast “playback” afterwards or an terminating error = 7.×.×.x.×. finally. Happens in all play-modes sPvP WvW and PVE. Anyway PvP is unplayable like this, because the frequency e.g. in sPvp is 50% of the matches. My account is on AbbadonsMouth (EU server). The same PC with same config, hardware etc. etc. has no network problems with GW1.
