I find the content provided was sufficient for an expansion.

Though I will say, while the quality of story is much improved, which I appreciate… the length was rather short.

I don’t mind the current implementation of elite specs regarding hero point accumulation. That said, if all the whining causes it to change, I wouldn’t mind either.

well… this is underwhelming news. No more Druid info pre-xpac launch

of all the professions I tried BWE3, Dragonhunter was by far my favorite. The longbow and consecrations synergize very well.

After playing the raid content I can confidently say staff as a healing weapon is entirely unneeded. During the run I was able to keep Celestial Avatar form up 95% of the time, using staff 2 or TU to refill my resource when required. Is CA fun… absolutely. Is having a redundant weapon which also heals fun…. No.

Please reassess the staff functionality and make CA a stance. You will make many people happy and druid will remain an effective healer.

Druid Traits Redux

I would be very happy if these changes were implemented.

That said, if the Celestial Being trait change was made I see no reason for other AF generation traits. Also, I feel strongly glyphs should be ground targeted.

Predictive statement for Druid

It’s hard not to be disappointed by a specialization which brings to the table only healing, condi cleanse and daze. A healing staff plus a dedicated healing form was just over kill. Frankly, the implementation has too many redundancies. Making skills impactful and varied offers more interesting gameplay than what we are presented with.

After playing Revenant; Ventari and Glit stances outshine the druid specialization by far.

In my opinion Celestial Avatar should be turned into a stance with no resource, and have all druid healing functionality attributed to it. Rework staff into a proper range damage/cc weapon.
Right now Druid it all about heals, yet has low output in both healing and damage.

Also… make glyphs ground targetable. Boon application in CA form would increase their value, and increase damage output in standard form would be welcome.

The thing that disappoints me about Druid

You’re not alone. I was expecting plant based condi dps (poison & bleeds) with high control for support

I, along with many others, expected a plant based nature druid from what was shown to us at the initial expansion announcement. While well aware design changes happen, I can’t help but be very disappointed by the change in thematic direction this elite specialization took. All of the current mechanics could have been implemented within the thematic framework originally presented

Simply disappointed

Honestly, I don’t mind the theme. In real life, nature often had a strong astronomy component. Stars were used to track seasons, which heavily influenced animal behavior and plant growth. I’m more concerned with their emphasis on healing. Dedicated group healing has no place in the game as it is now, so from a PvE standpoint, Druid’s only hope is that HoT PvE content turns every part of the last three years’ meta on its head. I’m not exactly confident that that will happen.

Currently I’m planning to maintain a longbow dps spec, using the druid celestial form traits. I can’t foresee needing more healing than what is provided from the specialization mechanic. Will see how it works next weekend.

I would prefer if the staff skills were more condi focused than healing…… too much healing on this.
