I’m happy to see this thread…but i have to agree with one thing, a lot of people said before.

It’s just too late.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not kittening around or something and yes I know that there will be people who say: “A-Net is finally talking with us, don’t complain and be happy about that!”…and i perfectly understand such statemants because they’re coming from people who are still hoping for the best. I’m not one of them (anymore) so it’s natural that there are opposite meanings.

You know i buyed Gw2 without a second of thinking about that decision. Most of the people who played Guild Wars 1 did….i’m pretty sure about that.
Not just it was an AWESOME game and we all wanted MORE of this, but because we had absolute trust in Arenanet.

They delivered awesome content, took care of their fans and joined the forums.

So there was no need in thinking about buying Gw2…I just did because i trusted Arenanet and knew they would deliver something awesome.

…you know it is hard to gain this trust but Arenanet earned it, and with that a big, loyal fanbase.

But.

You (Arenanet) are going the wrong way for a few months now. I don’t know why and what happened so you took such a wrong turn. And i’m not talking about your content.

There are many problems and if you read your forums you’ll see them. There’s no need for me in pointing them out, even though there are plenty of threads.

What i can do is telling you why I finally lost my trust in you (And i’m really sad about that.).

First: Talking about “coming features” or heavy game-changes…you know these things really need to be accepted (or acknowledged) by your fans BEFORE you integrate it into the game…but this is not the main problem. What your biggest mistake about that was:

You lied to us.

I can perfectly live with short changes or things changing after they were announced different but there is just no way you can promise something to your fans and then just don’t even give a kitten about your own words or what it’s meaning to your fans.

Don’t know what i’m talking about? That would be tragic.
I’ll give one example: Megaservers.

Second problem:

You ignore your fans.

Seriously, i don’t need to say ANYTHING about that because everyone here know’s what i’m talking about.

If i’m looking at threads like https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Megaservers-and-RP without any meaningfull response while threads like:

“Ehr ma gewrd I l0ve yuo’r patch! xoxoxo much love”

…get Dev-Posts one minute after these…things appear i honestly have to say that i’m kitten angry about that.

Massive critics all around the forum and…you’re posting on the mainpage and on your facebook-site that….“Megaservers are rolling out just fine” and “working great”….there are no words for that.

And this was -again- only ONE personal example-

I love Guild Wars.
I love the lore.
I love the universe and everything around it.

But for a few months now you’re doing everything to destroy my….no, our experience.
I’m dissapointed…really.

Again, i’m sorry that i have to say…i lost my trust in you, Arenanet…and i’m not the only one. To be honest, in the few past months i even gave up the hope that there will be any change because Arenanet has….i don’t know. “Changed”? Or do you just need more money? I mean….well, i don’t know what to say anymore.

Slowly but surely you’re losing your fanbase which was on your side since Guild Wars 1 released. It’s too late to say “Don’t let it happen.” because it is already happening.
So….please don’t let it end. Regain our trust. I honestly don’t know how but…

Just do it!

Listen to your fans.

TLDR;

You’re losing our trust.
Get it back.

It’s kinda hard to play if everybody is speaking a different language.

You guild and the open-rp is only working because (guess so) you’re all speaking english.

Now imagine the same situation with 3 or even more languages.

You’ve got Rp’lers who speak french, german, spanish and so on.

We can’t play together because of one simple reason.

We don’t understand each other.

And it’s honestly no answer to our problem’s if we just all start speaking english.
That’s kinda hard while rp’ing.

Same problem’s in pve but…

Still the worst fact is that A-net is giving a hello-kitty-kittened kitten about us.
And the reason for this thread isn’t growing anymore is not that the problems where solved, it’s because people are giving up on A-net.

Guild Wars 2 was and is an absolutely fine game if you’re looking at the lore and the universe. And even if it was really RP-unfriendly, it was really really fun.

I’d love to stay but…well, since April it look’s like A-Net is doing everything to destroy the rest of our Rp-base.

Still, the saddest and baddest thing is that the Dev’s are ignoring us.
That’s the mainreason i changed to WS but i really really would love to go back to Gw2 for RP…but look at that Mega****….

Pve is absolutely dead, but that’s something you get from other games now.^^

Actually they can’t do it “quick” because they’re doing nothing.

Count the “huge” amount of Dev-posts regarding our problems.

There’s no wonder people are getting cynically (me included), you know?

It’s (no offense) rediculous and kitten’d up to the top what’s going on here and in most of the other threads in the past where there was massive critic regarding the Mass-Crap.

Looks like the best way to deal with your fans, their problems and critics is to ignore them. Good work.

You know, A-net these threads aren’t getting bigger anymore because the problems are getting smaller. It’s because people are giving up on YOU and your…it would be a shame to call it “help”.

I really really really want to know one thing:

Why isn’t anyone answering to our posts?

And: Sorry, but the “China ($$$) Release-Excuse” isn’t acceptet anymore (and never was)

From the people I know there are 20 who left Gw2 so far.
21 including me.

I gave up thinking that there will be a good change, but please, please, please dear Dev’s write SOMETHING in this thread.

And for me personally Open-PVE! is now senseless.
There are 2784956 people from 2489756 different nations and everyone is brabbeling and brabbeleing…..

In europe we have only international servers atm, with the Megaserver-System.

I do understand that in the US the Megaserver-Nonsense or the idea beneath it, is quite good, but NOT here were we have X different languages.

We want to speak in our native-language.

Except for the part that you’re going to destroy the whole RP community of your game, A-Net it is really sag that you are just ignoring the MASSIVE critics cmoing from YOUR community. We want to play your game, we want to have fun we give you our hard earned money for that.

You have to take care of your players.

But at the moment it looks like you’re saying:

“This is it, deal with it or gtfo.”

I mean….seriously?

A tiny post here and there would be enough, something like:

“We read your critics about our Mass-Server-System and are debatting about a solution.”

….would be absolute enough.

But there is literally nothing coming from you, except “You postet in the wrong thread.”
Or “Thanks for the good words about our patch.”

Later you’re saying that the Mega-Server-System is “progressing nicely” and we should “Have fun playing”…..

Dear Dev’s.
This feels like a direct hit in the stomach.

It isn’t “progressing nicely”.
We can’t “have fun playing”.

I don’t know what you’re doing.
Ignorring your eu/us player’s because there’s waiting more money in asia?
It feels like.

And i’m not the only one who thinks that way.
A way to big part of your playerbase is mad/sad/deeply dissapointed.

You’re the dev’s, you’re the team and i think…no, i hope you love your game as much as we do.

But with your current actions you are destroying your game and your fanbase.

Please take care of your game and of us.

Hey, they are releasing in China.

There will be many more players than in europe or the Us, so they can ignore us and prepare the game for the eastern market.

There’s waiting much more money!

I really have to say that i’m deeply dissapointed that there is not a single Dev-comment in this thread since the patch went online.

You post in the “Wow, great Patch”-Threads and suggest in small threads, that the comments about the patches belong to another thread.
But no word in a thread with 10 sites full of comments an nearly 27.300 views about the MASSIVE critics here.

- Chat spamming
-Emote spamming
-Troll’s harassing and disturbing RPers
-Open RP nearly impossible ->
-RP in citys is “kittened up” ->
-> RPers are split across multiple instances of the map

-RP in french, spanish, english and german at the same time on one map is kinda…kittened up

Gather our problems, then post them all together.

Actually we think about changing to Teso (And i really don’t like that game, but hey…you can do Rp there^^)

Nope, it wouldn’t.

Yeah, you wouldn’t see some kitten-Trolls spamming the Chat, BUT! you still would see them jumping in the middle of RP hotspots and spamming their AOE’s ALL OVER THE PLACE while jumping and dancing naked.

There are really good features in this patch, but:

Do not ignore the players who think, you made a really really big brown, stinky kitten with your "Megaserver"System.

And yup, we do know that you give a s*** (sorry for that, but it’s the truth) about RP’lers (and i guarantee 99% of the Rp’lers think that way) and hell, most other players do it as well, but…from time to time i REALLY think that you care about us.

In kind of a sadistic way.
But we (mostly) are no masochists, so please stop beating the fluffy kitten out of us, our community and the fun we’ve had with your game so far.
Because that is what your doing at the mo-….what you’re doing for a far too long time.

The entrance is hidden, and there is a invisible wall, so you can’t get over the entrance behind the bushes.

I tried it a few minutes ago, looks like there is a new wall there, the old “way” to get in isn’t available anymore. Look’s like they updated it with the last patch or something.

If you go into the Thauma-Frac, it is said, that there is a “special consultant” and that it would be interesting to see her.
Even some inquest-npcs there are talking a little bit about her.

The special consultant is Scarlett.

We have kind of an problem here…

Oh, and sorry for my bad english, its not my native language.

But let’s get started:

A few players and I wanted to change the “Hair”-Style and the glowing colour of our Sylvari, using the “Total-Overhaul-Kit”.

After we found the right style, we checked if everything was ok, an then clicked the “Accept” Button.

The Kit changed everything what we wanted to…except the Glow.
Its gone now.

I already purchased 2! more of the Kit’s to make sure I set up everything fine, but everything was like i wanted to.

But there’s one exception: If you use the “Glowing-Level” Option, with an male Sylvari, everything is fine, but if you’re using it as female, it looks like its automatically resetting to Zero, no matter what you do.

So we have 3 Players with no Glowing (It looks horrible), and a lot of wasted money.

I already checked other forum’s, there are several player’s with the same problem.

All female Sylvari, all used the Kit, now’s everyone without the Glowing.

Is there ANY way to fix this?!

I really don’t want to start a new character again, just to have my Glow back.
