@Razor – did you manage to resolve your issue. Its kinda stupid that this game and only this game is having this kind of problem.

Been having this problem too for more than a few months and I just gave up. Just thought of trying again after I got my whole system replaced and its the same stupid problem.

I think this is related to Nvidia. I had a laptop with dual 770m and it was working fine until a patch a couple of months ago. Then all I get was a black screen after login but I can hear the background music.

Manufacturer replaced my laptop with the same specs except that it now got dual 780m and I redownloaded the gmae but everything is the same. Black screen and music.

I can play any other games, BF4, POE, D3, COD, BF3 except this game. Its already so annoying.

Is there a solution yet? I am having this black screen too but I can see the in-game looking mouse pointer.

Cant Alt-Tab too but I can Ctrl-Alt-Del and open Task Manager. GW2 is showing “Not Responding” in the Task Manager everytime this happens.

I can load other games like BF3, BO2, POE, D3 but not this game.
