All this SF recruiting and talk of superior tactics is funny. From what I have seen there hasn’t been anything superior.

We used our communication to wipe your Zerg in DR multiple times yesterday. Yes we lost EB keep but we kept u out of hills when the inner gate was 25% after you wiped the poor GoMers that were there. Dialed my friend spirit up and that was a good laugh of a wipe.

Also saw 5 lost catapults at nw tower from the EWOK ele commander and some warrior commander. We took out all 5 of yours with one catapult then proceeded to eat your numbers. I personally downed 2 of your commanders at least 3 times in less than an hour.

I don’t care that we are outnumbered every time I log on. Gives me something fun to do.

Difference is our people in wvw are terrible at the moment. Just a bunch of fairweathers, but you guys still don’t do anything about it. Perhaps less bragging here on supposed alamo defenses and more time actually doing that with your stuff in game.

I feel for you guys this time around. Usually I don’t care, but way too many SF were talking smack today at reset and I was disgusted with them since 80pct of them didn’t even show last match up where Yaks Bend worked us over.

But such is the nature of WvW you overpower some, you get overpowered some. Don’t take it serious and you’ll be fine.

Funny, because the only real issue I had with trib mode was the trib cloud. I felt it was just an arbitrary way of making us lose lives. There is no skill involved when pushing those blocks in zone 2 while the cloud makes you his girlfriend. Just a means for us to lose lives and make the already long zone longer.

And perhaps maybe the annoying spam jumping in yeti and the inconsistent ice. One moment you can barely edge forward, next moment you’re propelled a 100mph into spikes, but those I suppose are more annoyances than anything else. The trib cloud though does feel out of place to me.

I felt it at gauntlet and Liadri. When I spent about 60g on the tickets and gearing my warrior into a zerker, because I don’t like playing as a zerker. Of Course, I got all achievements except the two Liadri ones. I wouldn’t get the other ones without spending 30g on zerk stuff.

But that was gauntlet.

No Infinite Coin = no achievements

It’s one thing to give people a choice to buy cosmetics and such, but when you try to force us to buy something that’s not just cosmetic, that is needed and required in order to finish tribulation mode, well that’s just not cool.

But, I learned my lesson with gauntlet and liadri.

No coin for me, and after only one single try of tribulation mode, I’ve decided to ignore it completly as if you’ve never made it. I wish I would’ve done that with Gauntlets.

I will however finish the normal achievements for the normal people, the ones that are in style with LS achievements since launch. The fun,easy,laid back n relaxed ones.

I will say this though, I’m happy that you told people in advance it’s super hard and only made for 1337 players, lol. I wish you would’ve said so with Liadri so I wouldn’t have even bothered with it in the first place and just done the fun easy stuff.

Other than that, the whole thing is allright.

I see where the game is going though.
You want to bury casual players.

Btw, if this was permanent content, I wouldn’t complain.
If Gauntlet was permanent, I wouldn’t complain either.

It’s the temporary-ness of the whole thing that makes it unpleasant and a huge turn off to even try doing it. The 1337 content like tribulation mode and liadri, i mean.

Farm the first world for baubbles, there are plenty of guides out that can help you decide how to go about it. Also you need to download Perfect World, Forsaken World, or Conquer or games like that and you will know the true meaning of pay2win.

In my personal opinion if you need the infinite coin to beat tribulation mode then this mode isn’t and wasn’t made for your skill level. Also there are youtube videos on how to pass tribulation mode easily, so no real excuse here but lack of skill.

Laughed when I saw Conquer there. That game was pure pay to win. I had a full +12, but still there was no point to it.

1. We had mesmer hiding in Ogrewatch for 10 minutes, when he announced it in map chat, he got zerged at his exact location he gave us.

2. Before SF assaulted our keep in EB, our keep was drained on a bunch of arrow carts underneath supply huts.

3. Where ever we move, SF are there hiding in a corner waiting for ambush. ( I was convinced you had an awsome scout but point 1 and 2 disproves that.)

Jokes aside then. GoM does have the coverage, but personally I believe SF/ET held their own decent enough considering you guys have near constant coverage of the whole map at any given time, perhaps not as much when SF players get on which is usually around daily reset and continued to evening, but I think you guys should have rolled over SF/ET, but as I said we held you guys off pretty well.

Not sure how that translates to your server as a whole, I suppose you’ll see when your up against other servers with a night crew, etc etc. Either way the stonemist fight last night was the best threeway SF has had in a long time and thats whakittens all about in the end. (got my scraps for the helm too)

Jokes aside, was fun. Personally a tad too easy here since so many take WvW serious when that whole feature lacks so much to be taken anything but serious, but to each their own.

I’m seeing quite a few forum warriors who are apparently upset with the current point spread.

Do people still really worry with the PPT/Scoreboard??? I mean I am not even being sarcastic…Watching the PPT/Score is really just telling you how much coverage you have, seldom is it ever a representation of overall server skill/strategy. It was the case when SF mowed over ET/FC for 14 weeks, and is the case in all of the matchups.

You can win 14 weeks in a row, or lose 14 weeks in a row…You still get the same thing on Fridays: 2 more opponents, nothing more/nothing less. Keep watching the score you sheep, that is how ANET equates “success”. These are also the same people that thought Culling and the AoE Cap were good ideas; so tread carefully in what you consider important.

Coverage Wars 2 is 90% of WvW, and player/group/zerg/commander skill is 10%.

Ok. But if PPT isn’t important…why do you seem upset with mention of point spreads?

Probably for the same reason you would get mad if I called you kittened….You see, you probably would not get mad because you are kittened, its more likely that you are upset that I would use such a moronic statement thinking it actually makes any kind of logical sense.

While I am taking a liberty here, and will let you reply…By your logic, lets say during the hours you play you get severely spawn camped; it ruins your whole week. But during the hours you are asleep your strong EU/Oceanics are mopping the floor even worse with your opponents. Come Friday, to your amazement, you “Win” on the scoreboard by 2500 points.

Is that winning? Would that make you happy? Would you feel like you accomplished anything worthwile? DID YOU GET ANYTHING MORE FROM THE WIN THAN THE OTHER 2 SERVERS GOT FROM “LOSING”?

Well, since I’m a proud member of GoM, I’ve experienced the spawn camping/butt kicking you described and a fall from near the top of the ladder all the way to the bottom. It built character. But when all was said and done, I picked myself up, brushed myself off and soldiered on. We’re a stronger server because of it.

I know it can be a real struggle for short busers to keep up with my Commander Tactics 201 class, but I am willing to put in long hours to be work with you to be successful.
