Omega’s are fun! Large scale Omega rushing requires servers to coordinate the effort, bringing players together. Being in IOJ and terribly outnumbered for weeks and weeks in a row, having an omega can be the only way to get PPT when you don’t have a huge blob. Come on, keep some fun in WvW. No Omega nerf!

Anet has another map they could rotate into play! Remember before the ruins, all the water in the middle of the borderlands? Collecting pearls? Anyone? More players need to inquire why this map has never been put back into rotation? Putting it into rotation every now and then would help a little, while they are developing totally new maps. The question is, why has Anet not put it into rotation??

WvW needs new rotating maps, the wvw population is spread too thin as it is. We do not need more maps.

When IOJ was at its lowest, the players that still came out made it fun. Laugh at the blobs that outman your group, and when you best them, hype it up. Attitude is everything. I am sure it obvious, but you have to ninja to get as much ppt as you can.

1. How do we make play time in off hours valuable without blowing out the score?
-Don’t allow transfers to servers that have full coverage. They should be “Full”, until their WvW population drops. Only allow free transfers to servers with the lowest coverage.
2. Snowballing
How do we give worlds a fighting chance throughout the duration of the match?
-Give the third place server structural and boss buffs in their own BL. Give the second place server more points for stomping, give the third place server even more points for stomping.
3. Stagnation
-I have been asking for rotating WvW maps for over a year. I know it takes a long time to develop a map, so you should get started. By the way, Anet has an old map that never gets used. Start, by rotating in the old BL map with the quaggans. I think the response would be very positive. At least 3 to 4 rotating WvW borderland maps. How about a forest world map, a mostly water map, a desert map, the possibilities are endless. We all know the current map inside and out, a change is very needed.
a. How do I feel continuously challenged when my world is ahead?
-By playing servers that still want to fight. See above, give the second place server more points for stomping, give the third place server even more points for stomping. Give better drops for third place stomps as well.
b. How does my world break the hold that other worlds have on me when I’m behind?
– Server pride drives IOJ to keep fighting. I do appreciate previous posts pointing out that with the mega server, there is less server pride. This really needs to be addressed.

WvW needs some new innovation. As far as I am concerned ETOM is not part of WvW. ANET has responded that making new maps would be a huge, huge, huge project? How about just surprising us on reset and using another map they already have. Remember diving for pearls? ANET already has another WvW map and never uses it!

I agree that Anet needs to fix the bugs. But why keep our requests so small. Think big! Anet should be developing new wvw maps that rotate at at reset. We need to get some variety in wvw. If Anet doesn’t make big changes to wvw, eventually players are going to get bored.

1. How about rotating WvW lands that changed at reset. It would be nice to have 3 or 4 different maps. I think we all know the secret spots on this current map.
2. Anet could change reset every time using the current map. Maybe start out every borderland keep with a waypoint and full supply every now and then. Or have all towers and keeps be fully fortified. Mix it up.
It would be exciting at reset not knowing what to expect.
