The skill point at Augor’s Grotto in Malchor’s Leap is bugged. Alexandra Duet stays on attack mode and, when killed, her health resets and she continues attacking. Even if you leave the area to reset her, she runs back to her spot, her health resets but she stays hostile and cannot be interacted with to begin the skill challenge.
Add another plea for Cantha/Elona to the list. I also have always thought it would be a given that first they would release Tyria and then eventually would expand to Cantha/Elona. It just feels right….
I’m having the same issue, I’ve completed it twice now but it is not adding to my total of 13, it just restarts at 0 again. When I mouse over the achievement, it even says “Repeated 2 times.” It also shows in my recent achievements.
Yeah I’ve had to vendor quite a bit just to keep inventory space. :-/ I’m sure I’m way behind on wealth at this point.
I thought the same thing about stealth but the more I play the more it seems to just be the timing of the skill they cast. If they cast a skill right as I’m activating stealth, it usually hits me and breaks it (not that our stealths are last long as it is lol).
I honestly haven’t had any trouble against any class as a mesmer, more so the skill of the player I’m facing. If any class gives me trouble is another mesmer, when suddenly I’m the one facing decoys, though usually if they don’t use any stealth skills, I’m good as long as I keep targeted on them. Other than that, I usually win any 1 or 2 vs 1 confrontations. I usually last quite a bit in gang situations, but if I don’t get any teammates showing up to help, then I will go down eventually.
As far as PvP, the objective these battles is to capture and hold points, so I’m not sure where your confusion/frustration is coming from. It’s simple enough to figure out what the objectives are, figure out how to score points and what scores the most points and do those things if you want to win. I mean, I do hope that they put in some more match types that don’t involve capturing, but for now that’s all we have. So as it stands, the primary objective is to capture the points and hold them… so if you distract the enemy team while your teammates cap, that’s great – and you’ll probably win that way, but you won’t get as many points personally. Just neutralize/cap each point you can (10-20 pts each depending on if it’s currently capped by the enemy), revive downed teammates (10 pts each), take out forest spawns (25 pts each), destroy/repair catapults (15 pts each) and get as many kills as you can along the way. I’m not trying to be harsh but it seems you’re complaining about a broken game mechanic when actually you’re just applying a bad strategy to the objectives. I want other game objectives, too… but you’re not going to get points by ignoring the objectives of the match you’re in, just how it is. :-/ Good luck though.
I had the same issue with that quest. I just exited and retried and it worked for me. :/ I’d say just keep going in and going straight to the defend point and you should know pretty quick after the first wave if it’s bugged. If nothing comes, just leave and go back in. I’m sure you’ll get through it a lot faster doing that than waiting for a reply/fix from the devs.

I’m having several issues with the Trade Broker.
When trying to buy items – I can select filters and browse items, but when I select an item, I’m unable to see the stats of the item when I mouseover. I’m also unable to actually buy the item as the Buy button is grayed out. The only button on the item page that I can click is the Refresh button.
When trying to sell items – No items from my inventory show up. The page is blank except for the words “Search inventory…” at the top and the sort menu.
Under My Transactions, the sort menu is blank until I actually click on it and select something. When I select “Items I’m Selling..” I see the list of items I posted the last time the Trade Broker let me post items (Though I’ve never been able to buy items). However, when I attempted to remove some of the items from the Broker, it removed them from the list but the item never appeared back in my inventory (so I’m assuming I’ve lost them for good?).
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anyone else having the same issue?
