Guild Wars 2

I crashed not long ago, and it was a little disturbing because when I restarted the client I just got a very messed up looking screen. I tried opening Firefox after this, but it was a totally white screen and my only option was to just exit. By rebooting my computer the game seems normal again, but I’m kinda scared to play for very long and have this happen again.

Thanks for any help or advice…never had anything happen like this since launch so I’m just praying my GPU or some other piece of hardware isn’t the culprit.

I just did Tequatl after reset and got no chest, so either his chest is different or I encountered a bug or idk what.

AC is godawful now and I have no desire to run it again.

After a few days of no lag, it’s back again. Hurray…always seems to happen during the peak hours right after daily reset happens.

Game is pretty laggy for me atm. If I ping Guildwars2.com I get results around 300 ms, whereas anything else is in the normal range.

I’m In Canada, Toronto area if that helps at all.

When the game came out I was between 50-90 fps all the time in Lion’s Arch, even with tons of people everywhere. Nowadays I’m between 20-50. I thought my GPU was just starting to run worse but who knows now, seeing how many others have had a similar experience.

Yeah same here. Been using 12.8 for months and never noticed anything, and decided to install 13.1 to see if it would help improve performance overall, where I first noticed this stuttering. But just installing the 13.2 did nothing. It seems V-Sync has to be turned on for this to work…at least for me.

I’ve taken a few characters through this area, even on different servers and every time I’ve been there I’ve found a few botting Rangers running around farming the Grawl here. Can you please put a Champion in here or something? It’s pretty ridiculous to see this so consistently.

Logged into my Engineer today to see my Rifle doesn’t look how it should any more. This is really annoying.

Staff skill Empower’s boon duration is still bugged. I could have sworn a lot of people made posts about this when the Lost Shores patch notes came out and stated the increase in base duration from 8 to 10 seconds, but I can’t see anything of that nature now. Right now with +35% boon duration, the skill description says I will get 13 and 1/2 seconds of Might stacks, but I only get ~10.

Just did this, and when we got to the last boss after fighting all the Dredge and mining suits, nothing happens. He just stands there in “friendly” mode.

I think I just met one of the D/D Eles you guys are talking about. Female human who was a commander…guild tag was Defenders of Aspenwood or something. kitten was she just unkillable. I was playing a class I have little experience with (and bad gear) but she basically soloed a few of us easily. :\

It’s the same guy who does Tybalt Leftpaw, right?

edit: Just looked it up and that actor’s name is Mike Vaughn.

This story quest is very laggy right now, with any actions you take not being seen for several seconds. I’ve also gotten disconnected from the game altogether just trying to load into the instance.

Well, my main is guardian and after today’s change and nerf alltogether I’m feeling like I should “facedesk”. As ranger is my alt, and I see so many broken things with her too, what’s left, I’m going a warrior, sigh.

Ha, same exact thing for me. Guardian is my main and I’ve just finished levelling a Ranger to 80 and now I’m feeling disgusted with both of my choices. I can’t help but feel Warrior is due for some nerfs in the future though, so even they feel like a gamble now. ANet can we please just stop nerfing everything? This was a big flaw in the original GW, and it’s the sorta thing that drives a player base to oblivion.

It’s a much better dance than a lot of the ones currently in game. I would love to see this implemented for Sylvari or Humans. The Charr dance is pretty lame too but I can’t really see them doing the Gangnam.

Tomes suck, Renewed Focus is exceptional and has been a lifesaver on many occasions.

Yeah I noticed it in a large guild as well, same number of people, but I just figured that was normal considering the sheer number of players listed. My contact list isn’t very big so it seems weird to me that it would behave like this. The weird thing is it does this on all tabs except the Looking For Group one, which I get my normal FPS while looking at.

This just started today. Any time I open my Contacts List my FPS will drop from my usual 40+ to 20 and below. Anyone else encountering this problem recently? Just wanna know if it’s a game bug or if I have a hardware issue I need to address.

I’m a little sad because it seems all the people I came to play the game with have already stopped playing. But other than that I would say this game is a ton of fun, and it’s disappointing that a lot of people can’t see all the good things about it.
