My Asura (Female) says it all the time. “HOLD THE LINEEEEE”. When I first started using it I got a good laugh at it.
Did you try the previous driver as the youtube top comment pointed out?
Same problem was on 306.02. Fixed by using 304.79.
Framerate the same.
P.S. How much FPS you have in Black Citadel or in somesing enother heavy environment?
I’m really feared becouse in BC only 55? fps with rarely drops to 43-45
You can also try the 306.23 beta drivers to see how they fair

I think you’re wrong. I have an Asura Guardian. They’re so awesome. Little dude running around taking a beating like a pro. He may look small, but he feels like Godzirra!
I still play EVE Online.
I guess that doesn’t count though.
I didn’t want to use threat as this isn’t wow/swtor. However to give a simple example. It seems that the more Vitality the person has, the more threat the person can produce. Toughness may also have some sway in this, however I didn’t see the same type of behavior when he was specced into that tree.
Mind you I’m just talking about general mobs like Crocks, Birds, Krait, etc. Not bosses or anything .
aggro is very random in the game, there is no ‘true’ way to tank anything. They kinda do what they wanna do.
I would agree, but after playing my guardian the way I have. I find that I can keep the attention to most mobs (and some dungeon bosses) with very little effort. So I don’t think it’s as random as you believe it to be.
You can also easily pull off a lot of bosses simply by running away from the action. At least this has been my experience.

I don’t know if this is common knowledge to those who have been playing since beta or not, but I think I figured out something.
My buddy and I have been playing a lot together recently. Me, a Guardian who is Vit/Toughness specced and him and engineer who was Toughness/Bombs or whatever.
We ran through about 4 maps together and have done pretty well for ourselves. However recently he decided he’s getting out of the toughness tree and into the Vitality tree. Now that he’s in Vitality/Whatever, he’s getting a lot more aggro off me. He seems to easily pull mobs if I’m not focused that much on them.
I understand the dynamics that not all mobs stick to one target or that they move around etc. This is however a more common theme among the mobs we have fought. I also tried to take into consideration how much damage he might be doing in comparison to me. However he’s always done more damage than I have. I don’t know if he reached a threshold that I have a hard time over coming or that I’m getting terrible. haha
Does Vitality effect how much pull you have to tanking/pulling/sticking to mobs? It seems to have a pretty apparent affect from my point of view.
Thoughts? Opinions? I tried doing some searches (in the forums and on google.) I couldn’t find anything. Maybe I’m crazy and need to go outside for some air.
after playing in quite a few large events. The bosses need to be larger. When there are 4 Norns, countless magical abilities, and other spell effects. The small bosses get completely dwarfed and you have no idea where the boss is except somewhere in the pile of people.
I’m only level 56, this might not be an issue later on. I’m just making a point.
I’ve played most, if not all, MMOs. The dungeon run tonight in Ascalonian Catacombs was my friend and I’s first run through in this game.
I’m a guardian with full toughness/vit spec. I don’t do as much damage, but I can sure take the punishment. I’m aware of dodging the 2hander big hits. My friend and I are aware of how you play.
The dungeon run, was complete chaos. I had trouble seeing the bosses animations with all of the spell effects going on. At times I could see them clearly but when I couldn’t, I was punished with a long knock downs or confusions. Sometimes getting pummeled while I was down. My friend would sometimes be in the wrong place at the wrong time and get one shot. Regardless that he has a lot of toughness in his spec.
It seemed very lame and disappointing that the game uses cheap tactics. I’m all for a hard game if that is to be the case, but there needs to be a better way to see what the boss is doing. Maybe a queue from sound or possibly a larger area animation? The thin red circle also needs improved.
The synergy to the group also felt lacking. To give it a better expressive term, I would say that the boss fights are like controlled chaos; sometimes being full blown chaos. I don’t see this changing as it seems to be apart of the game design, but a little more control would go a long way.
Again, this was all presumed on a quick run with one guildy and 3 pugs. I’m sure it would be different with all 5 players in TS/Vent and cooperating together with classes that had a certain build etc. I just wanted to give my thoughts on my first run. The game is really fun and I hope it to remain so as I continue on in my adventure.
Have a good day my good sirs and madams.
There are quite a few traits in the guardian trees that do not work atm. This maybe true for other classes as well. I however haven’t played them to notice.
