Staff ele is pretty amazing as well

Yes its also very strong but it doesn’t have the burst potential or mobility of dd celestial ele. If staff ele runs zerker he can be easily shut down. I would also add that sf ele is actually very strong and I am surprised I don’t see more of them.

Op from a pvp perspective dd celestial ele is the strongest thing in the game right now. If played well its an absolute monster.

Op probably doesn’t know how to express his thoughts properly. That said from a pvp pov ele just has a bit to much of either dmg or healing once of them has to be toned down alittle bit.

Might stacking celestial dd ele just has it all great dmg, great mobility, great healing, stab, good condition removal it has no weakness. You can just stack a couple of these facetank every match. Its only saving grace is it a bit harder to play than war. How are people dealing with this class?

I think berserker stance is the real problem. If it were toned down in effectiveness or duration, I think it’d produce better counterplay.

I believe Cleansing Ire is easy enough to play around and prevent and thus has some realistic counterplay.

I agree that having Thieves in your team is generally bad at lower ratings.

But the higher you get, the more useful the Thieves get. Having 2 Thieves in a high-ranked game isn’t an auto loss. In fact it’s not bad at all.

The only class I’ve found that really makes a definite difference is a bunker Guardian.

Having a Bunker Guardian while the enemy has none is almost a guaranteed victory.

Other than that, Warriors are generally good, Mesmers…less so. Everything else is sort of a toss-up.

you guys have no idea how much eles got buffed after the patch. they have too much condition cleanse, regen, and mobility. it’s stupid. they can even stack might like crazy. they are the new braindead class in pvp.

NO. Eles ARE NOT braindead. Not now. Dont even think about saying that again.

Not braindead but they are OP atm they can outperform warriors right now only saving grace is they are harder to play.

Warriors are a little bit to Op atm.

WvW has never been and will never be balanced. Please stop basing your nonsensical “balance” based on highlights of WvW videos in an attempt to prove a point. It’s not working.

Forget the video then, Warrior has great survivability, great mobility don’t give that excuse warrior with good mobility is only good for running coz thats not true if they have a gs or sword equip they have can have good mobility. They are also very easy to play and they are overshadowing many other professions.

Did you even watch thoses videos none of them are that impressive at all and lot of them from last year. Thief is running pd condi build which is not good for group play all single target dps and no burst. That mesmer shatter build is cloth low hp no armor limited condi removal and no mobility many weakness.

Didn’t watch all of ele but he was doing 1v1 he had low hp and dmg was no where near warrior level + its alot hard to play. Ranger is running regen build takes days to kill anything mobility not as good as war that type of build don’t bring much to a group, it a tank with very limit support.

That engi build has less mobility less damage and takes way more effort to play why bother?Didnt watch the last two video 5 of them weren’t so good. Guard and Necro don’t have the moblitity of Warrior so the are not really a good roaming option.

Those videos are just from roaming perspective Warrior is also Top tier in Zergs easy to play no weakness overshadows all other classes.

This class is just a bit to strong at basically everything right now.
Coming from a WvW perspective they can do everything and they do it well.
They are among the best at Zerging every zerg need them. The are among the best at roaming and you could argue they are actually the best at it, because if a warrior and thief fight over a camp, sentry, or tower Warriors have the advantage because a thief and mesmers cannot contest these points in stealth.

They very easy to play and have no weakness am I missing something?

I enjoy facerolling on my new hambow… er excuse me, d/d ele.

(seriously though, its nice to have an ele build that a warrior can’t roflstomp just by smashing his face into his keyboard)

Wars now are stuggling against ele but it worse for all other classes ele is bit to much atm.

I’ll give you a better one:
- Add +1 for each coward that will play the builds instead the game, and go for meta builds downloaded off some site that go for maximums and abuse the loopholes in balance instead going for a balanced builds, personal skill and fun.
- Add -1 for each friend of someone in the other team that leaves to make things easier for them, or sticks around to be counter-productive.

The team with a highest coward rating will win over 75% of the time, because cowards win too often in conquest, and we need more modes. More modes an auto-balance systems so making builds isn’t about finding maximums and exploiting balance loopholes, but about reasonable efficiency and personal skill. Oh, and a system that brings replacements if someone leaves, and puts players in the other team on hold until both teams have the same number of players.

Then we’ll have a good base to start properly balancing this thing.

Dude don’t be a scrub ofc if people are playing to win they with choose the easiest most efficient build possible Bunker guard, Hambow, MM necro turret engi ect…… nothing wrong with that. I myself generally play something more challenging but I don’t grip over it if others choose a meta build.
