I would just like to point out I’m in qT a dungeon speed running guild with many dungeon records

The reason that zerker gear is the best in pve is because of two reasons
1- people want to get their rewards as fast as they can. (Raises hand)
2- THIS IS THE BIG ONE- The fights in pve are NOT HARD AT ALL so in turn don’t require any other gear than just dps gear.

For example- in the current pve the monsters are so predictable and stupid that dodging is enough to avoid most damage. I mean why the hell would I wear healing gear and kill the mob in 2mins while out healing the damage it does to me when I can wear berserker gear and kill it on 10 secs. The fights in pve are not hard at all and people want their rewards as fast as possible so they wear zerker gear. ITS NOT THE GEAR ITS THE FIGHTS.
And
If anet does decide to do something about the “meta” it should be by making stuff harder to do, NOT by nerfing berserker gear.
ANET PLEASE NOTE
“Harder” doesn’t mean more hp and attacking quicker. It means having interesting and challenging mechanics and less predictable AI. One of my favorite fights in the game is the end boss of the Grawl fractal which has interesting and fun mechanics, constant pressure from the fear of catching on fire but still rather easy IMO.

Another way I think fights can be a bit more challenging is if ANET introduced a gambit system to instanced content. The more and harder gambits you pick, the better reward you get.
Let’s hope challenging group content is not just mobs with high health and slow attacks and not open world afk zergfests. I’m hoping for a raid system with at least minimum of 10 people inside a hard yet fun instanced type mode.

There will always be a meta, even if it’s putting water fields on top of the boss and hoping he drowns (lol hodgins from ac)

They got rid of them because they were WAYYYY TOO HARD and also living world is sooooo much challenging.

on the 23rd they are adding the ability to change the stats of our gear. As someone who has like 30 healing gear boxes this is very welcome news.

No as that would make condis really op and make direct damage not worth

With the 23rd patch all the builds in the game will basically be destroyed/ will need to be altered, so will we get an option to re pick the stats of our ascended gear? As someone who has over 5 sets of ascended gear you can see how much of a hassle it would be to recreate all the armor sets.
Even if we couldn’t re pick the stats on our armor atleast let us salvage the armor so we can get some damask and other materials out of it. This change is even more important now that the ascended gear gap is 10% rather than 5% so please Anet don’t screw us

They probably mentioned this somewhere before but I couldn’t find it so,
Are the traits and utility skills I already bought gonna be unlocked on the 23rd or will I have to spend hero points to unlock them again?
Also will I be refunded my hundreds of skill points that I used to unlock them before the patch? Will they gimme my skill points back as spirit shards?
Would really like a clear answer to this, thanks in advance.

So far the stuff they have showed us is not worth 50$ IN MY OPINION, that being said i will not be purchasing HOT unless they do atleast one of these
- add a character slot
- show us more stuff so it’s worth the 50$
- lower the cost
- maybe add a option for the veteran players
- all of the above

Has anet still not responded to lupi being bugged? As someone who spends like 95% of his time soloing Arah, I’m getting bored because lupi is such a pain now

Lupicus has been bugged for a few weeks now and Anet still hasn’t even mentioned it. I have to say, since I spend 90% of my time soloing Arah for fun this has been a pain in the butt. The bug as most of us know, is that lupicus’s necrid bolt now hits in melee range when it’s only supposed to hit in range. This makes soloing lupicus more annoying and also encourages exploiting him by placing a wor on the wall and one shotting him. As someone who doesn’t have anything to do but solo Arah in the game this has really been something that discourages me from logging in everyday. lupicus solos are still doable but just more annoying. PLEASE ANET FIX LUPI.

I don’t think I’m ever gonna get my map completion done. I’m stuck at 99% and all I need is a few vistas and poi. Now I’m not suggesting that wvw be taken out of map completion entirely BUT when wvw reset happens every server should be a new color every week. Most servers have a decent chunk of their borderlands and their part of eternal battlegrounds and this would simplify things greatly. Currently your server changes colors but not every week. They should make it so server colors are in a pattern red – blue – green, this is a easy fix to the wvw dilemma imho and should be implemented as fast as possible

Vote kick must exist. Too many people would abuse it by going afk or otherwise being a jerk on purpose. What they need to do is make it majority and require 3 votes. Whoever decided it would only take two probably should have thought about it a little harder xD.

I’m curious if the others in this thread also agree that 3 votes would make the system equally effective (for yes, it seems vote kick must exist, as Woljnir says) but perhaps less arbitrary.

Or would 3 bring a whole new set of challenges?

I think making it 3 people would be great because it would prevent a lot of kick happy couples

here is a bug( I’m hoping its a bug and not intentional) that has really been a pain for soloing dungeons and I hope it gets fixed soon
So before the patch if you were soloing a dungeon, ( which I really like to do), and you happened to dc, you would relog and the little dungeon Invitation saying " enter explorable mode or story mode" would pop up and let you continue your progress from where you were inside the dungeon. After the patch if you happen to dc and relog the little invitation no longer pops up and you have to start the dungeon all over again. As far as I’m aware this only happens in solo settings as in groups you would have a party mate in the dungeon. This is worse when you’ve finally managed to get lupi down to 10% percent and dc causing you to START THE WHOLE DUNGEON OVER AGAIN. This is VERY ANNOYING and I haven’t been able to solo in a while cause of this. Pls fix

So I wanna start key farming but I don’t have the deluxe edition of gw2, my question is, the two week golem banker on the tp is that for every toon or just the one u buy it on.
I’m hoping it’s like deluxe edition one where it mails it to every new toon you make
