i got the email but had no link to click so i was unable to play

i dont know anyone. my brother used to play with a bunch of other aussies but they have all given it up. i didnt know you could search maps for players so i will try that. just a bit disillusioned with it and dont want to just quit an account thats had nearly $300 spent on it. i play on sea of sorrows and when i joined at release it was the unofficial oceana server. its been nearly 6 months since i played this hardcore and im still trying to figure the lfg tool out. thx for the replies, i will try and use your advice

hi im an aussie player and recently returned to play and all i notice is how empty it seems. silverwastes events are always a fail because im the only one ever there and i have even stayed awake until 3 am in the hope that US players are there but no it just always seems so empty. loads of people in the cities but none in the maps. just wondering what to do as i really like this game but playing alone gets rather boring. i am already in one of the largest guilds and even they tell me that they are having the same issues. any ideas on what i can do that doesnt require 100 + people on to do it ? if pvp and wvw are the only options then i may as well find a new game but im hoping its not all thats left in this once fine game

as the title say my update got to 99% and then refuses to complete. just sits there. any ideas ??

hi so at one point i had several maxed characters and was doing ok and then one thing or another made playing this game too time consuming but now im looking to return but honestly dont know where to start at again. was a part of EXG guild on the sea of sorrows server but i dont know if they still exist or what. well until i finish downloading once again i was just wondering where was a good place to start once i get in game? how has the world changed? i heard lions arch was destroyed which was just after i stopped playing

well i played this when it was new and due to real issues had to quit playing. now i try to get back into the game only to find that the social aspect of this game seems to have disappeared completely. does anyone run dungeons these days ? or do any guilds still run the guild events ? dunno guess i just dont know where to start these days as i seem to have missed a lot

my entire guild has pretty much decided that ac is not worth the effort and i have just given up on mediocre dungeons in this game. i actually thought the idea of this game was for fun arenanet!

10 chests i have looted today and not a single rare drop. so where does that leave the ‘buffed’ chests.
in my opinion nexon has taken control and it is now a cash shop game. seriously thinking of finding another game

ok the loot system in this game has to be the most ridiculous and grindy i have ever played.
(i have been playing mmo’s since anarchy online)
the drop rate for rares is obscenely low and exotics are just non existent. dungeon chest are broken and frequently you get nothing but blues while others in the party get 3-4 rares exotics. yes you can say this may come down to luck but why should it really be so hard.
this game is just a typical grindfest that seems reliant on gem purchases. the mobs that should drop loot such as lodestones are confined to an insanely small number of mobs which are constantly camped by bots. in my opinion a.net really needs to pick up their game or it will die a very quick death. why cant anet get it through their tiny little brains that loot should drop from more than just 8 mobs in an entire map. this game is nothing that it was meant to be and is more grindy than anything i have ever played before
