Thanks for the thoughts. We’ve been checking Blackgate at all hours for a few weeks now with no luck.

I’m hoping ANet increases the server caps since most of the NA servers are already at Very High. With the expansion coming I would imagine there will be an uptick on all servers.

What are the chances that server capacity will be increased with the release of the expansion? My wife and I are coming back to play but our accounts are on two different server(one EU and one US) so we can’t really play together. I’m on blackgate and want to stay there but want to get my wife over to that server.

So do you think they will up the server limits?

I think its getting close to the time to end free world transfers. I would suggest giving a week or two notice but they should end soon.

This will allow worlds to begin to build a better sense of community since people won’t be world hoping every other day. This should allow for some more improved WvW matches.

I’m posting for the 3rd time. One issue in my ticket has been address(awaiting a solution for the Tome of Influence).

But the other issue in my ticket has not even been mentioned in any replies I have seen. I created a guild on 9-11 and as the guild leader I have no rights in the guild other than to invite people. It’s been almost a full month. I would like to know where this piece stands.

While I’m not against nightcapping per-say, I think some of the underlining issue is what I’m the most upset about.

The server that I am on has little to no European/Pacific/Asian player base. We are currently matched up with at least one server who has at least a healthy non north american playerbase. As a result there is little our server can do.

I foresee a WvW future where the servers will little non-NA players end up just being matched up together since they constantly lose out to the other non-NA heavy servers

I received a response back on one of the issues in my ticket on 17th. I replied to it as not everything is resolved. I asked a question regarding what was sent to me on one of the issues.

I also haven’t heard back on the second issue in my ticket and that’s the fact that as a guild leader I do not have rights to my own guild. I have had this guild for almost a month I have yet to be able to do anything with it because of this.

Incident:120911-004939 – submitted Sept 11th. I received the automated response to which I replied with the related info.

Issue: I created a guild on 9/10, made sure I was representing it and used the Tome of Influence. The guild did not receive the influence but I received an achievement for gaining 1000 influence. I also as Guild Leader I do not have any rights in the guild other than to invite players.

Last Update I sent:
Guild Name – Knights of Craft
Amount of Influence Lost – 1000
Upgrades Lost – none but I am unable to do upgrades on the guild I created.
Any additional information you can think of such as, when did you first notice that the influence / upgrade(s) went missing? – When I used the Tome of Influence I received the achievement for the 1000 influence but when I opened the guild windows it was not there.

Any info on Guild Leaders who have no rights to their own guild? I’ve submitted a ticket but its been over a week. Judging from this thread its a fairly widespread issue. While I understand the “disappearing” guilds is an important issue, some kind of update on this issue would be appreciated.

I’ve just created a guild. By default I got the Leader rank, but I didn’t get any of the permissions that come with it. As a result I can’t kick members, promote, or change the message of the day. When I try and promote a member, no option is given to me when I right click. The only things I can do is create new ranks (with only the edit rank and new member boxes available to tick). Under the Leader rank the only box ticked is Edit Rank. Is there any solution to this problem?

Same problem as quoted text above. I am the guild leader but all of the options for guild leader are greyed out for me, the only thing that I can do is invite people to the guild. I am unable to promote, change the MotD, or anything like that.

I haven’t seen any kind of update on this issue. I too am having this issue. This issues seems to be growing. I’m hoping we get some kind of acknowledgement of this issue soon rather than later.

I’m experiencing a different issue with the guild system. I created a guild on 10th. After creating it I made sure I was representing it and used my PreOrder Tome of Influence. I received an achievement that said I earned the 1000 influence. But the guild didn’t reflect it. I invited my wife into the guild and she used her tome and it properly applied. I began looking and I noticed that as the guild leader I had no rights. I cannot do upgrades, I can’t edit message of the day or promote members.
