Guild Wars 2

This is hilarious now. Started game and even before I could accept my daily reward it crashed and before I could send the the crash report it crashed again.

I am having literally the same problem. Started with this update, client crashes in few minutes. Crashed 3 times doing fractals then crashed 3 times just trying to access my bank in LA.
All this within 30 minutes of this update.

Before patch I used to be able to play for quite a while(30min to 1-2 hrs) before crashing.

After patch anywhere between 2 to 5 minutes is enough to crash. Just standing in LA near bank npc crashes after few minutes.

They should update their dungeon page info. It would be hilarious if someone with skills with words provide an update for the content at https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/dungeons/

Try unchecking “Show All Player Names” in General Options. This along with minimum graphics settings has allowed me to survive all the world bosses including Teq.

Also as far as i know it does not matter how much RAM you have Gw2 is still 32bit app and limited to 4GB.

Bought BL skins 2 Chiroptophobia and 3 Dreamthistle Greatsword at around 50g last year. Then I stopped playing for about 10 months.
I started playing again a few weeks back and now Chiroptophobia is at 160 – 170g the dreamthistle gs at around 500g. So I guess I got lucky

I am interested in joining FOTM. I have Warrior/Guardian at lvl 80 (although do need to gear them up properly), also am willing to rep 100% (except on 1 storage guild alt) .

I will drop a in game mail when I reach home.

Thanks for suggesting that. It seems to be a viable option for me. Will keep an eye out for TK guys in WvW.

Hi In-Sane-Ity, I looked into your website, especially into the events section. The timing of all the guild activities mentioned there is currently not suited to me. I don’t want to end up in a guild which is just a place to hangout.

Perhaps some EU centered guilds would be better for me. I’ll keep on looking. In the meantime if any EU based WvW centric FA guild is looking for fresh blood please do let me know.

I am mostly interested in Dungeons, FOTM and WvW.
I have lvl 80 Warrior and Guardian and currently leveling an Engineer.
I would definitely prefer a FA guild with WvW presence.

Apart for this I am 34 years old so I guess mature enough to handle most situations. Other than guildwars I have mostly played Eve Online so I am used to doing things in groups and being part of big battles is always appealing to me.

I am mostly online from 3 pm UTC to 8 pm UTC on weekdays but can adjust them as required.

Didn’t they already nerf the champ bag loot recently. I think the amount of coins it dropped got nerfed.

So far I have leveled 1 alt through queensdale champ train and in process of leveling another, but generally I use it for getting my daily’s done. Just 2 or 3 rounds of the train and I get 3 or 4(or even 5) daily’s done. After that I jump on to my level 80s and go do the current LS/WvW/World Bosses.

People do it coz its easy and relatively stress free with decent rewards. Regarding the question of Champ bag farmers, there are already lots of better ways (excluding playing TP) that give better result than champ farming.

Locked Black Lion Chest are a common drop in the game.
To unlock them you need Black Lion Keys which you can purchase from the gemstore (you also get 1 key for doing the level 10 storyline and 1 more at later a storyline level)

Unlocked Black Lion Keys drops stuff and boosters are a common drop from it. For a list of stuff you can get take a look at wiki http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Black_Lion_Chest

The most apparent P2W items are Strength Booster for a +5% damage and Armor Booster for +5% damage reduction.

Its obvious that this new flamekissed light armor is going to be a big hit, but you have to see what path will such act lead to game’s future. If they are willing to cash in on the prestige armors (aka T3 cultural armor) then in future they might be willing to do so with Legendary Items also.

How would you feel having a Eternity Skin available on TP for 800 gems(or even 1600)? This would be a measly 100G or 200G depending on the gem price rise as compared to the current price of over 4000G. It will be an instant bestseller.
I know I am taking an extreme example but this is where this path leads to.

Anyone is the game who has spent time and effort on getting that unique item/skin/legendary should be aware of this possibility.

Anyways this issue got resolved. Big thanks to GW2 support people. Although they could improve their web site user interface to provide a error message or some information instead of just refreshing the page and letting the user make the same mistake again and again.

I got my wife a new account during the sale. For the past two days we have been trying to get it registered but are unable to to do so.

We are stuck on “Step Two: Create Your Guild Wars 2 account” in the registration process. When we enter the details and press Next button the same page gets reloaded and nothing else happens.

We have also opened a support ticket and got a standard reply(the usual try different browsers, clear cache, check for java script enabled) and obviously after doing everything mentioned in the reply the issue still remains. Have updated the ticket and also added additional info such as Network data dump take from IE developer toolbar.

And now they are going to change the support system and we will have to create a new support ticket (weird though I am not yet seeing the new support system).

Any one who has bought an account recently facing a similar issue? Any ideas on what else we can do?
