Adding myself to the list. It’s not consistent, and it’s not my ISP.

Warrior and Revenant:

Rev Coalescence of Ruin and Warrior Scorched Earth now only register one character’s damage regardless of how many Revenants and Warriors are using their respective skills on a target. Whichever executive or developer decided this was a good idea, please rethink that.

But if your end goal is to have Phalanx Strength was the only pigeonhole you wanted Warriors to fit into in PVE, well, you’ve sure as hell got that. I guess I fail to understand the logic behind giving Warriors a viable alternative that did enough damage to warrant people spending thousands of gold to craft gear for what used to be a niche build, letting it sit for three months, and then nerfing the unholy crap out of it.

I’m not kittening about the well-deserved nerf to our 30k burns — that was ridiculous and never should’ve happened — but to give us an alternative to PS that had enough damage and utility to be welcomed into group content, and then raze it to the ground? Really?

Same thing with Revenant and Mesmer. This isn’t balance. This is orchestrating mass rerolls to inflate your retention rate.

Completely forgot to check on this, and I’m a bit confused now.

I’ve… got no idea why anyone is comparing the harvesting tools to the Terrace Pass. The harvesting and salvage tools are always available in the gem shop. It would be monumentally dumb for ANet to make those account-wide because they’re not the same thing.

That’s kind of why I’m not talking about the harvesting tools and the salvage kits and the bag slots, and am talking about the one item they tout as “the ultimate convenience,” release once or twice a year for a week or two tops, and make it inconvenient to use.

Change it from an item to an account-wide flag that allows you to get to the terrace on any character on the account you bought it on, then reintroduce it to the gem shop. I’m sure more people will buy it if they don’t have to keep swapping one single item around to all of their characters. I got it for the convenience and found out it was a bloody hassle.

Me: 33 year old feeeeeeemale living in the South. I’m typically on in the evenings, I have a mic, and I’m willing to use it. I consider myself to be moderately skilled.

Previous gaming history: Lineage 2 for five-ish years, about 2007-end of 2011. Jesus Christ, that was too long. The open-world no-holds-barred no-move-too-cheap PVP was my bread and butter for a long time. I was one of the top healers in the game, my guild’s strategy caller, and my guild constantly hit the top regardless of what server we played on. Vindictus from 2010-2012, when the hackers became way too much to deal with, then a fat lot of nothing until GW2 launched.

Previous and current GW2 history: TLDR – A friend of mine told me to join Fergusson’s Crossing in 2013 when it had six live players on it. Friend then quit. I transferred to JQ, ended up in Decisive Actions [DA] and ran around in WvW with them for about two-ish years, and when they imploded, I drifted along until finding Just Us Grown Ups [JUGs]. I am not looking to leave JUGs.

WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM US, WOMAN?: Something to sink my teeth into. What I want is a semi-hardcore group that might be in need of a flexible, self-sufficient individual that comes pre-geared, doesn’t have their head up their kitten , and is willing to take direction, while also allowing me to represent them only when I’m present. I want to do raids about once a week, and dungeon speed clears whenever they’re being run. I haven’t done the latter with a hardcore group, so there’ll be some direction needed, but you typically only have to give it to me once. (Wouldn’t hurt if somebody was also willing to walk me through TP flipping. I’m stocked with enough starter capital to get myself going … I think.) Also, please don’t be kittens to women, to people of color, and/or to LGBT+. Ain’t nobody got time fo dat.

Gear: Full Ascended Berserker heavy armor w/Strength Runes and a set of six Scholar’s lying in wait, full Ascended Berserker trinkets, a handful of ascended Soldier’s trinkets (with funds to buy the rest), and an ascended axe, greatsword, hammer, mace, aaaand 1h sword. I’m either fully exotic on everything else, or I’m prepared for when they hit eighty.

Now the BG players will magically log off like they always do when faced with a challenge.

Khayoss.2019:

Two things. First, Jade Quarry is the #3 server. If their inability to stack up against the #2 server disgusts you then I’m not really sure what could possibly make you happy…? SoR beat BG by over 90k week 20, and JQ by over 60k in week 21. That’s a fairly good beating in both cases if you ask me. How is this really that different? JQ gets to see how it matches with BG without SoR’s presence, that’s valuable information for both of them if you ask me.

Part of the problem is that the scoring system doesn’t take into account the fluctuations in the percentage of active players that participate in WvW from week to week.
