To anet developers. I was just wondering since current pvp rank finishers will be unobtainable, but this has been bugging me for years now and i never mention it because at first i didnt care to mention. But since in a later patch animal finishers will not be obtainable. Will you guys ever fix the PvP Tiger finisher Sound? (Mainly the “roar”). It doesnt have that punch that it did from guildwars 1. lol.

Salvaging items arnt giving any more AP?
I have repeated 198 times, and still get pop up for achievement reached after salvaging 200 items. But it doesnt increase after a certain amount. It went up by 1 ap after repeating this achievment about 10 times, after that nothing again. So it comes and go. But for the most part it’s not registering any achievement points. I thought this achievement is suppose to be infinite.

Hi Anet Developers and programmers, i just bought the Scarecrow and Mad King finishers. It would be appreciated if the scarecrow finisher actually has ravens fly off of the scarecrow arms. it lacks that “umph” that makes it a good finisher.
For the mad king, for the finisher – The mad king face should be a tad larger and rise high above its target for its laughing animation.

It would be great if in the future Arenanet had time and funding to add in Japanese Audio Language and text. Other than that its not a huge thing, just wish there was some way to add alternative audio sounds to the game, especially for combat.

I really like that rangers now have a stealth skill – from their longbow, which was so crucially needed. Having one more would for sure help, ie: camoflouge utility skill?
ranger’s pet to sniff out target in stealth is great add on also, there are times where the pet would stop chasing and stand idle after an enemy goes into stealth, leaving teh ranger vulnerable to a spiek attack and gank.

Adding better ranger traits, would be great, especially in teh beastmaster trait line, I would like to play more beast master and have a strong pet in pve. But the trait doesn;t cut it, epescially the specific pets special skills, theres too many in beast master line – which are utterly useless. It should be combined instead. Also the pet traits, for dmg or pet speed and etc are all spread out into different trait line for the ranger, which can be sometimes frustrating or difficult to create a viable build for ranger, that lives up to par with other classes in pve, like warriors or ele.

Guaranteed Chest, Too Much?

This game rarity scale is not on par with its intended loot drops. Everything is given to you easily, because gw2 is cater to the casual gamers. But when you are a hardcore player and you do constant dragon farming, those guaranteed rares you get from the dragon event’s chest are not a challenge to obtain, so you can get many rares from those dragon events all in one night. The “hard to come” across items in guildwars 2 should of started with masterwork (green rarity) items and above, hence why whenever you would use a salvage kit on it, the game would advise you if you are sure about doing so.
But in guildwars 2, rarity items , white, blue, green, seems to be of a common thing so it usually ends up as salvage scraps or merch for coins.

Gold, Orange items that you can also get from doing dragon events should be measured from “rare” to “very rare” to obtain. But it comes too easily from everyone doing Champion – Dragon events, then gets sold on the marketplace or salvaged as its been obtained. Which in turns- driving the ecto’s and gold (rare) items prices down in blt. Since guildwars 2 inception, rares and ecto’s were very hard to come by, which was when ecto used to be on average 34 silver to as high as 46 silvers, because dragons never dropped guaranteed chests, and the boss chest had a chance of rare and exotic, but not the best of chances.

In my opinion I agree with what rooster stated. The main dragons and temple bosses should be the one that greatly rewards players with the guaranteed chest and champ chest, because of the duration and difficulty to complete them. Rare items just do not have what it takes to even be consider rare in my honest opinion. It takes the fun out of treasure hunting, which guildwars 2 really lacks. Therefore it gets dull and boring really fast. With the upcoming champion giving rare chests patch coming up, wouldnt this just unbalance the game? there would even be more rares and more ecto’s on the marketplace.

Should mini pets having passive bonuses?
Activating a mini pet will give PvE bonuses, ie: Mini Super bee Dog: 10% coin loot from monsters.
or another example not restricted to; Mini Svanir Berserker : 1% crit dmg

Pet traits are all over the place on the ranger. Beastmastery should be the trait line that holds most of “Pets” traits and ability.. but its not.. What you get from the beastmastery trait mostly is .. : Specific pets having some sort of add on condition, or skill that triggers when using F2. And to be honest most of these add on skills suck.. and your restricted to using those specific pets for that reason.. I think it should be universal among all animals.. and please redo the traits on the ranger in general.. organized the pets traits and skill in beastmastery and not spread it around like wildfire.. I feel with this disorganized traits spread around rangers which alot of them dont make much sense why they would even be on a specific trait line.. is frustrating to know. Rangers are so underpower and underclass among the professions..
p.s bring back the hammer on ranger ? “Thumper Build of gw1” =]

I know its alot of programming in between movements from point A to point B, if they input the click to move function. But I believe it will help for alot of players out there. Like I said, it could be “optional” in menu. Also the dispute of why it wont work with the evade/dodge mechanic?. If you were to click on the location for character to travel to, and in between you press key to dodge, Generally it should dodge you in the direction of where your character is facing. I dont believe thats hard to input in the mechanics. I know its hard and alot of script writing for the programmers, but the mechanics should work well, and not be conflicting with click to move + dodge function.

Thank you for replying, I think also its about first impression, since I know of some female who plays MMO, who really wanted to get into this game. But they would not rather wanna learn new controls method. I for one would learn and adapt to play the game how it is.. I just cant speak for some former players I introduced this game to.
I still hope for it to be an option that players can enable or disable in menu, nonetheless.

With the new added testing of -TestVerticalFOV, I would like to enjoy playing the game with a slight overhead view. “R.T.S” style of view gameplay.

*First I recommend that Anet Programmers greatly increase the Field Of View when zoomed out much further, as it did when battling the MAD KING EVENT in his Dungeon.

*Secondly, This suggestion is KEY to players I had played with who gets frustrated with controls, because they are not used to the “WASD” (First Person Shooter Style of movement). And utterly quit playing guildwars 2 because of their inability to learn the game control. (Statistically , mostly Female players , I’m not speaking for all but its one of the reason why guildwars 2 is such a dominate male players game.)
Solution: Add the Option in Menu of “Click to Move” to targeted area when clicking on the Left-Mouse button. Arenanet, You guys had this in Original Guildwars (1). Why not have it in Guildwars 2?

The second suggestion is what I would really like Arenanet to add, and the one I have been fighting for eversince guildwars 2 beta, inputting it into comment area.
Your losing female players cause they cant enjoy the game, when they cannot move around obstacles or stairways. Its frustrating. Thank you Anet.

Downed state is fine, to address the concern that some players do not like to spam number 1 skill or waste time. There should just be a “sacrifice key” to just end your down state.

Mount, Pet

Many times as i travel through the vast continent of Tyria (guildwars 2 world). I kept saying to myself, it would been great to be able to have a mount (For PVE).
ie: Ride on a Moa, or Warg, having a Whale as an underwater mount .
I think the purpose is for the added “speed boost” in travelling places to places. But these pets will have to cost u of course, like the cost of food to feed it overtime. and etc. Has to be manageable for players to somewhat afford, because the Mount pets are an investment that cost overtime.
But also, for PVE purposes, While mounted on a pet, the player would have Attack Skills and (1) Defensive Skill that suits the player type of classe so that a player can engage in a battle while still on a mount.
For example: A Caster-Type like an Elementalist, Will only use a staff animation to cast range spells skills to attack while on a mount.
A Melee-Type like a Warrior, Will use a Sword animation to attack close range, and Sword specific attack skills while on mount.
A Mid-line Type class, like a Ranger, Will use Short bows animation to attack mid range with its specific skills while on Mount.
I believe these skills dont necessary have to be really powerful, but atleast have the added bonus that a player can still do damage and also heal while traversing the PVE World map. (No purpose for mounts in Dungeons.)

If anyone have added suggestions feel free to post.

Being able to gift items, to other players would be a great idea. It helps profit the developers, and also builds a strong relationship among players. ie: Gifting a clothing set to a friend as their birthday gift.

Ascendant Title

I agree, please change the title of the pvp, Since it is conflicting with the HoM title.
And think of a great title name for reaching that rank, ie: Legendary Dragon, or some thing much better.

Thats the problem exactly, we dont need two mouse key functions to attack targets. I hope that Mouse key – 1 (left click) , and Mouse key 2 (right click), will be an enable option to bind as key in configurations.

i would enjoy a gamepad support, altho it may not have as many functions as it will on keyboard and mouse, but the feeling of fluid movement on an xbox 360 gamepad is most enjoyable

I been using the “hold” right click function alot to steer my character in the right direction when running, but what I noticed is that right click will also select and target enemies then start to auto attack them. I find this problem to be a nuisance during pvp matches; not really for pve.
Would developers, programmers please be able to have an option in menu to disable right-click targeting/ attacking?
