I’ve been running a few tests and in my case it seems to be happening once I am in EB, sofar I haven’t seen in it any of the borders (I did check this by playing for about 5-10 minutes on a single border but I didn’t get the message then; as soon as I enter EB it starts again)
It seems to be happens every 2-3 minutes once I enter EB.
At first I thought it was connected to just my mesmer but I see it on other characters aswell.
Also it doesn’t matter with guilds I am repping, I checked two and it happened with both.
Soo this morning I’ve been receiving loads of the “cannot connect to guild server” messages, I would even say that I’ve bene spammed with it by receiving 11 messages in about 25 minutes time.
As far as I could tell the guildchat was working normally (I was the only person online atm) so it was kindoff hard to test it.
Normally I get about a message each day but this is just really crazy.
Anyone else been receiving this kind of spam?
Edit: I’m not sure if it’s connected but I was in WvW at the time.

I tried doing a lvl 30 mob clearing and a lvl 28 grawl killing spree but instead of ending up with shards I kept ending up with vials for some reason. According to the game itself and to the wiki shards now drop at 21+ can anyone confirm that?
It’s not just AB > WvW crashing alot, just like 50% of the squad > DS, same twice even within a minute.
So yeah I am out till they fix this……
Crashed about 6-7 times in less then an hour together with half of the squad.
This is really annoying.
Just had the same two crashes within 5 to 10 minutes with everyone in the map crashing.
Bounties seem bugged for sure, we did Trillia earlier but she was just standing there and no-one could interact with her.
Seconds later she was gone and when we found her again same problem.
I also came accros Felix who was also just standing there and I heard the same about Teesa.
Can’t really respond to the other mentioned problems as I haven’t ran into them yet.
I wanted to reply sooner as I am having the same problem with the skins.
Already wrote a bugreport so I am curious if the support ticket is able to fix it.
Please keep me (and others interested ) updated !
I have the same on one of my characters as first I thought it was because of the Living Story as I had activated it on that character but after finishing Chapter 1 it instantly went on to Chapter 2 and I am not sure if I need to finish the entire Living Story season 2 first before it’s normal again.

Yesterday during an AC run I found out that the charges for Ice Bows are bugged with certain classes.
1 attack now counts for 2 charges and with Guardian it could cost up to 3-4 (or more) charges per attack.
First off all I did only test it with the Ice Bow but I will test it with the other elemental weapons as soon as my friend is online.
Secondly Autoattack was turned off for this so that’s not the problem.
Here’s what I noticed.
The problem occors with the multiple hit attacks like Frost Volley and Frost Fan but mostly with Ice Storm.
The Water Arrow (Autottack) and Deep Freeze appear to be fine.
Profession wise the same goes for the Thief, Warrior and Engineer they all look to be fine as an attack just counts 1 charge per attack.
With Necromancer Frost Volley and Frost Fan looks fine but the Ice Storm suddenly takes two charges instead of 1.
With Mesmer and Ranger it’s odd sometimes the attacks do cost 1 charges but mostly the Frost Volley, Frost Fan and Ice Storm cost two charges for some reason.
We did notice that on ranger if you hit for example the “Harpy Nests” the attack suddenly counts for 1 charge instead of 2 which makes it even odder for me.
Guardian is a total different story as I believe it might be related to two Virtues traits namely Supreme Justice and Permeating Wrath as attacks can cost 3-4 (sometimes even more) charges per attack.
Turning those two traits off will make an attack cost 2 charges and in some cases even just 1.
It might also might be triggered by Radiant Fire but I haven’t seen a real difference with it turned on or off.
I did file a Bug report but as it’s hard to make screenshots of out it I’ve uploaded two video’s to Youtube one with me as my Guardian and a second with my friend on his Ranger.

And here’s a third one with my friend on his Ranger attacking Harpy Nests where the attacks suddenly cost 1 charges when you hit a nest.
After he attacked the Harpy + it’s nest which cost one he did an Ice Fan which suddenly costs 2 charges.

For all video’s it’s better to view it in theatre mode instead of full screen as the quality is good on threatre mode but it’s terrible on full screen.
As I haven’t seen this on the forums before nor on the wiki have more people ran accros this problem?
I’ve had 3 crashes these last 24 hours all while at a world boss or in big zerg fights in wvw.
The heat here has been terrible so I am not sure if my pc isn’t cool enough but it does run good with other games.
But I’ll try Mash’s suggestion to see if it will help.
Please Anet check what’s wrong as it’s really really annoying to crash during a boss fight or big zerg fight!

I signed up for the newsletter a few weeks ago but I haven’t seen a single newsletter mail. So my question is must you confirm the registration or is there a way to see if you’re already registered on it or do you get a confirmation mail that you’re already signed in on it?
I already checked the spam folder but I didn’t see anything in them.
I do get the normal mails from gw2 in my inbox so I take they’ll use the same adress for it but I could be wrong.
Does anyone know the anwser?
They might have “fixed” it but my daily halloween stuff still doesn’t count towards the meta.
I finished 2/3 dailys and I am still at 10/12 instead of 12/12.
A real shame really so I hope A-net will look into it some more.
I don’t know who came up with this briliant idea but you’re missing something A-net I want (and more people want)100 Gems not 400 as I already have that and the ghostly mini’s cost 500.
Over the last couple of months I really wondered if you LISTEN to the idea’s and feedback of the players and the longer I think about it the clearer the anwer becomes NO!
Where this is a good start you guys should’ve thought about the people that just need a few extra gems and given them the option to get them even less then 400 but did you do that no you didn’t as that would be a smart move and it seems that A-net is against smart moves.
I hope you guys would do us a major favor and start to LISTEN to the feedback and actually do something about it instead of farting around like you’re doing now.
But I honestly doubt that someone is going to read it but atleast this makes me feel better.

Been lagging allot every since I started the game at 18.00 and it’s terrible today.
Did two traces both stop at server 206-127-157-102.ncsoft.com [206.127.157.102] after it only time-outs.
It started at the feature pack but these last bunch of days it’s been terrible.
Update: I am doing the tripple wurms event the countdown started at 19.00 hours and at 19.27 the actual wurms spawn (with allot server lag) after a 20+ minute waiting for the escort to start and the escort events…..

Seems I’m not the only person with problems.
I get atleast one error 7 per evening some in edge of the mists and some just in any PVE map.
Also I’ve noticed that the game sometimes refuses to log me in at the first try so I have to the login again before it works.
I’m almost sure that it got something todo with the megaservers as I didn’t have this problem on this scale before the 15-04 update.
It usually works when you reconnect but it’s starting to get annoying as even some guildies missed out on the guild puzzle reward for having a DC right at the end and they couldn’t get in anymore.

I’m trying to unlink my authenticator app on my current phone as I’ve got a new one.
As I’m trying to unlink it, it keeps saying incorrect code while the codes are good.
Is there anyway to remove the authenticator app using another methode or is there something I’m doing wrong?

The game ran perfectly yesterday but since getting home it’s slow to say the least.
Loading a zone (any zone) takes 5’ish minutes (perhaps more).
Got serveral Error codes 7 and after getting kicked out logging takes forever before I get an error.
Besides that the site also doesn’t seem to load as quick as normal.
The question is what’s up A-net?
Yeah that’s logical but I wasn’t standing on the ledge I was standing on the far side so at the innerside of the wall .
And it’s not just me a buddy of mine also had a couple of wtf moments so I’m just wondering what’s up with that.

That explains a bit but the range of it isn’t greater then a longbow so I might not have a spotted that so who knows.
Still think it’s kinda weird.
After a months I’ve started to play WvW again.
Now it’s still fun but I’m starting to wonder about the pulls in WvW.
A couple of times I was standing on the walls in the keep or on the towers without being able to hit the enemy players (carrying a longbow) either because I’m out of range or my target is obstructed.
However the enemy still seems to be able to pull me towards the front of the wall and in one case right into the giant zerk.
What’s up with that, is there an update granting players a large boost in pull range or is there anything else that I’m missing.
Yup I’ve had this problem since start too and now I only this hints for the chieve really annoying.

Thanks Jeffrey I’ll keep it in mind when doing ac.
I have this bug with my ranger when doing AC path 3.
Everything is fine untill I turn into a ghost at that point my healing, utily and elite skill disappear and are locked expect the elite which turns into leave transformation but that doesn’t work.
I’ve tried everything from switching weapons to relogging to changing character and if I enter with another character that one is fine.
But if I re-enter it with my ranger skills are locked again and I can’t always switch because I sometimes start the dungeon.
When we complete path 3 and when I’m turned back everything is fine but it’s really really annoying.

I know that this topic will probably be closed but I still wanted to adress this “problem”.
I’m getting loads of these “Guild Wars Account-Notice?” about that my account “will be ongoing for further investigation by ArenaNet’s employees”.
I’m getting one of these almost each week….
I’ve already added the sender to my unwanted list but the odd things is the sender is “support@guildwars2.com”?
I’m certain that these are phising mails but I’m wonder is there anything that can be done against these mails?

Perhaps someone can help me with this without me having to make a support ticket for this problem.
I’ve downloaded and I’m using the google authenticator for my personal google account without any problems.
Now I’m trying to do the same for my gw2 account so I login to the sent and I go to security where I start the authenticator “wizard”.
As I’ve already downloaded the app I press next for the first step and I get the next one.
Here I either need to scan the barcode or insert the code into my phone.
However I’m stuck here as both methodes don’t seem to work.
After I’ve entered the code in my phone I got a 6 digit code back which I fill in before pressing sent.
Normally one would say the wizard would continue however I always get the “Invalid code” error.
Now I’ve deleted and readded the barcode aswell as the digital code but I always get the invalid code error and because of this I can’t complete the wizard.
I hope someone can help me with this problem as I’m getting really annoyed by it.
