MBA sliver to frag to shard to does not work: it’s greyed out.
only thing that works is using MBA’s to make 2 cores into one lodestone.
Try it again. I’ve been playing with putting the correct order in for several hours with corrupted, destroyer, molten, glacial, onyx, and charged. from slivers – no joy to frags to shards. no luck until you put cores in to box then it will give ya a lodestone.
The shield does give 61 pts. of defense, but the the skills associated with the shield have huge “down-time” timers. I gave up on the shield and primarily use a scepter + torch approach. At least my skill bar isn’t sitting there on a 180 or 240 second down time which in some boss fights gets used maybe once or twice at most. But again the 61 pts. of defense… it’s not entirely useless- just not fun to use.
I wish there was an option for creating new street clothes depending on light, medium or heavy armor crafting skills (armorsmith, leatherwork, tailoring)
Say at 400 skill points, you can then create or buy a mix and match pre-made town clothes set for gold, karma, laurels, or other monetary medium. I think the jewel store is pretty lousy in terms of selection to be perfectly honest.
I feel a broader selection of around town clothing needs to be made available to mix up the boredom of the same old clothes on the same character day after day. Maybe no one is interested in this like I am, but a little more variety either in armor or non-combat clothes would be truly grand for this player.
I would like to see ALL the cores/lodestones be used in mystic forge or crafting to make something unique. All I see is corrupted and destroyer lodestones being able to make cool weapons – could lodestones from each of the dungeons be used to create the dungeon karma equivalent of some of the gear that currently can only be purchased with dungeon karma? Why not make Glacial lodestones able to create weapons or armors that would take normal dungeon runs and their accumulated dungeon karma, so I don’t have to bug 4 people to quit focusing on what they are doing to help me get items that only dungeon karma can buy? I’d rather farm, gather, craft and make money from other areas and get rare core or lodestone drops from mobs and then save up and get the gear that the vendors currently only allow actually visiting the dungeon require?
If that’s not your thing, then at least make the other lodestones more valuable in making some cool new weapons or armor or town clothes pieces.
The legendary weapon that the game designers put up on the auction house after all their game hours of play, don’t translate into real achievable options for more casual players. And 200 dollars for a precursor, or 1-2k dollars for a legendary weapon is to expensive to afford.
Guild Wars 2 has made a lot of extra money in the last few months, it’s time to put your art designers to work and get them on track to start cranking out new looking weapons and new looking armors AND new looking town clothes options.
Keep the legendary weapons and boost their special effects- while making some other options for those of us that can’t put the time and money into the game to afford them. (the legendary weapons.)
Use the other lodestones to make some neat stuff — they’re just sitting in the bank at this point – beside being able to only make 1 or 2 crafted items for each crafting line.
agree with dungeons having their own monthly. I’m not gaga over fractals of the mysts like everyone seems to be. GW1 had separated areas for the WvW / PVP fans. I’d like my monthly focused on the two being separated, and not force me into dungeon diving which require 5 people to quit what they are focused on, to help me do dungeons. The designers get to play this game 24/7 – they forget some of us have to work at Jack in the Box and can’t get the playtime in to do all that’s required. (I don’t work at Jack in the Box – but just saying I can’t make the game as high a priority play as the game designers and some of you hardcore players can make it.) So I have to find other ways to make the game enjoyable for me. A tier monthly bronze, silver, gold, platinum with ascending levels of requirements might be an answer.
Not whining – just can’t get the playtime in to meet requirements. And I like PVE not fighting other people. I like the co-op play in the world events a lot/ especially the dragons- as I try to end on a positive note.
I’d like to see tailoring, leather crafting, and armor crafting expand to provide more outfit options – GW1 a lot of the game for me was about getting cool armor/ but I’d love to be able to buy ANET gear or have tailoring expanded and I’d be cool with fighting in regular town clothes if transmute stone were used.
Just increase the options of town clothing – so far ANET seems to want to GEM these things and keep them all to themselves – why not open it up a bit so I can choose a variety of outfits. Currently only option is to transmute karma vendor items or mob drops to try and get a change of look.
Bring back option of more clothes and armor looks, and I’d be amenable to OP’s if transmute stone were used.
CLOTHING IS FAR MORE THAN JUST COLOR CHANGE – need different outfits in keeping with story theme, and holiday themes as well.
