As someone who was wanting to come back to this game, I’d like to put out there I’m extremely discusted with having to pay for content that was free. If this is how u guys roll I suggest stop the lame living story an go with expansions only.

I have had it happening since launch. Which is why I don’t use the in game sound anymore.

Really they should have a policy that they would get banned from doing anything instanced for x amount of days. Including wvw and pvp arenas. and after 3 infractions a perm ban. By doing a ban on instanced events at least maybe they will change there behavior. But it does happen i’ve had a group doing a dungeon that someone just kept wiping us and wouldn’t listen to directions after the 4th wipe we kicked him and finished in less than a min. Im not saying you did anything wrong but it does happen. Unfortunately these would just have to be reviewed on a case by case basis. If there were a better way to log maybe the chat to a temp file in the game folder of the last kick from party at least you could have some evidence. Only other advise is run with people you trust because there are alot of jerks in this game

The patch on the 28th will bring laurels to the Daily and the monthly. They are currently working on the system for achievement points. You will be given laurels for “back pay” but as some achievement can be done over and over and over they are figuring a system to limit those who have farmed achievement points in such a way. Also from what I understand is that U get a laurel for completing the achievement not by how many points u have.

Also id wager the higher the level the item the better salvage kit you will need. Thus if your using the fine and are now salvaging higher end gear then your going to get a even lesser chance of getting something back from it

That’s what the monthly is for, Daily are named so because they start over each day. If you want a laurel each day log in and do the work if you cant then you cant but it shouldn’t be given special treatment because you cant log in every day for 30 mins. In your scenario it would just be a multi-tiered weekly.

Me as well although ive never noticed it working.

Even if they limited it only to certain sets such as exotics or ascended. Id be ecstatic.

Was pretty sure I read some where that they were in the game originally but had major clipping issues so removed them. my opinion but id say they then added the back packs to replace them as it was a quick and easy fix. Given im sure it has been moved to the bottom of the todo list or taken off completely

So how about if both mouse keys are clicked down then the aoe goes of on your target and if your cursor is visible/movable it goes off where its pointed. My problem is I use the mouse to move so having to stop adjust and lay down an attack sucks. Fractles fire level especially because ya burst into flames -_-.

I want mounts, I wanna collect them ride them and I think it would be so much fun in wvw where wp are usually all contested. id make a blueprint for a trap that knocks everyone off there mounts as they cross it as well. Even flying mounts could be added for some epic surface to air battles. and the mini games oh the mini games!!!! I wanna build a golem and race them against other people and upgrade parts to make the faster. oh the possibilities. Just because wow did it doesn’t mean its a wow thing.

@qaz if I were you Id look into your email addresses I have yet to have a single issue with the email authentication. IM not saying its your fault just that when moving to GW2 before launch I recall having to merge accounts and stuff like that so maybe somewhere along the line the email its sending ur authentication to is the wrong one.

Id liek the auto town clothes to please, id really like to care about town clothing but as of now I forget about it. More options for clothing as well

Id like one too got a friend who played in beta and wasn’t impressed id like him to try it again.

So this isn’t the first time this has happened but I was helping my brother with his story missions and got kicked. upon login back in im am A. no longer in the story instance and B. have no way to get back in. Hes now on his own while I wait outside for him to finish. Takes away from the fun of helping other with the story stuff. Id like some way to rejoin the instance. No reason not to unless the Main person got kicked.

I agree its way to much money but my solution for this was bring in mounts. Id much rather spend 10 min flying somewhere that waste all my silver having to go pick up my 5 silver item of the trading post only to spend twice that to go get it. With mounts unless im in a super hurry I can save my self some silver. Also Gives me something else to collect.

I keep getting kicked and the error screen flashes to fast to see what it is but twice tonight ive lost half my money for the second time I know have 25 silver this is so annoying. Im not doing anything in particular just randomly boots me started after patch last night

The world is beautiful guys I like the art direction for the event. Cant wait to see what the mad king has in store

Dear Anet im sad I spent $30 bucks in hopes of getting some neat stuff to celebrate this holiday. I planned on spending cash each time there was an event to support you guys. I changed some gems into 2g for my book. I bought the minis cuz they are cool and reasonably priced. I really wanted a costume but they were way to much for something I couldn’t wear 24/7. Why not a costume slot that just covers all current armor? the rest of my gems I spent on keys to open 12 chests. I obtained a few extra keys and bought some more chest off the Ah. I got nothing out of these chests. Almost $30 bucks and I have 3 mini pets to show for it. It makes me hesitant to buy gems in the future for events in fear again ill have nothing so show for the holiday. Thanks for your hard work please take what ive said into consideration. In order for people to spend cash for extra stuff you’ve got to make it worth the cash. Money is tight these days. I really was hoping for some festive stuff to run around doing this event.

id like to point out that on the advert on the website it clearly says the chests wont be available till the 23 pst. Since its still the 22nd id hold off on opening chests.

This hadn’t even occurred to me I thought I was having target problems and just couldn’t select my friend as the target to rez, yours makes sense too though as ive noticed when using the 3 person rez that no one came back to life during a story quest.
