I still prefer Foefire’s Power. Juggernaut looks like a metal staff to me, more than a hammer.
Slight change in my previous post: Ascended Material to Essence of Luck*
What Anet should’ve done:
Make 4/4 Monthly completed reward the usual 10 laurels.
Make the Monthly Achievement “Monthly Completionist” (You completed your daily category 4 times in a month) reward the essence of luck, because no one could have possibly finished that yet until later today.

Requires 2 transmutation crystals. No guarantee that in upcoming updates this will allow for “Legendary stat-swapping.”
1.Transmute the legendary to a white weapon, keeping the legendary skin but the white weapon’s stats (this makes it non-soulbound, but account-bound).
2. Deposit the newly transmuted item in the bank.
3. Switch to the other character and retrieve the weapon from the bank.
4. Transmute the item with an exotic of the stats you want, keeping the legendary skin but the exotic stats.
Edit: Link to Legendary “Stat-Swapping.”

I think that even if ANet changed the mechanics of the world boss fights, the majority of the population would simply skip it and do the easy ones.
The Claw of Jormag fight introduces some “anti-zerg” mechanics. There is frozen ground that you can’t just rush through and attack until certain conditions are met whether it is breaking the shield during phase I or defending the golems from crystals during phase II.
The majority of people hate the Claw fight, and most won’t even show up until phase II. The reason being “it takes too long.” If ANet introduces some of the suggestions above to other bosses, it would make the fights longer and no one will bother doing them.
Would you spend 10-15 minutes killing a world boss for a guaranteed rare and a chest, or run a dungeon in that amount of time for enough money to buy that rare plus have spare change? As great as some of the ideas above are, people will always gravitate toward the best return in time investment, even if it means a dull fight. The community wants things easy, and they want it now.
Thanks for bringing this back Chris. I’ve ran this build since January when you originally posted it. In PVE, it is essentially God Mode- the heals from VOR ticking around 225 HP, selfless daring rolling for 1.4k HP, 100% retaliation uptime, and a decent amount of Power for sustained damage to not hit like a paper bag. I use Kralkatorrik Chocolate bars for an additional ~200 healing power that was lost to soldier’s ring.
It’s like I’d have to try to purposefully get downed in dungeons. In fractals, I’ve pugged up to PR 42 with this as an alternative anchor build to the classic AH. The survivability is so good, it’s overkill for most PVE purposes so I recently swap to Zerker gear and trinkets, but keep the trait set up.
For WvW, it’s refreshing to be able to hold your own in a 2v1 situation. Only downside of course is zero burst damage since most of the damage comes from raw sustained power, retaliation, and burns from blocks/VOJ. But of course, we can’t have it both ways.
Thanks for sharing it (again)!
