Guild Wars 2

I got one of these years ago and really like it but it’s too expensive to be for one character. I really feel it should be account bound for the price. I’ve not bought another one but I’d probably buy several if it were for the account.

How many more people would buy things like this more often if they were account-wide? Just curious if I’m just being too Irish.

I bought a mining tool years ago and I love them but decided I’d never buy another one until it’s account bound and not soulbound. For that much money, it needs to be for all your toons and not just one.

I’ve finished training in Druid 100% but can’t equip the Druid Staff. Is there something else that needs to be done to be able to equip it?

The pet could simply grow up and become a full-grown version without stat change. I think it’s the lack of visual change that’s the downside of pets in GW2. We tame a juvenile and you expect it to mature in time. Of course, then you’d have people complaining of “that big monstrosity of a pet blocking my view!” Some pets look like their parents but some are still obviously miniature versions.

I don’t think their marketing people realize that they would get more people buying guild accessories if they opened it up to everyone. That’s too simple to actually work, right?

I totally agree with you. I was bummed as well. We have a large guild full of people who no longer play and it’s not something I want to share with strangers. Would be great if the few we have left could still enjoy it, and maybe it would entice the others to come try HoT when we post pics of the new guild hall—the one we can’t have because there are only 3 of us playing.

So, another game ruined for the casual player with only a few hours a week to play. Some of us don’t have the time to work with builds and items but we would still like to do dungeons without dying a hundred times. Taking away rez during combat had already taken most of the fun out of them for me since I die too easy, then have to lay there and wait for a wipe. And who wants such a squishy player in their group?

Games for me are strictly for fun—I don’t need stress for character build, stats, or accomplishments. I already have a job and don’t need another time sink, just a place to escape a few hours for FUN. I guess I should give up on the good online games and resign myself to Facebook crap. Thanks a lot A-Net.

This happened to our group last night so it’s still bugged. This has been going on since last September! VERY frustrating to finally get past the first boss only to not be able to continue the run. It was 1:30 am so we weren’t going to submit a ticket and wait. It would be great to have fixing bugs at a higher priority than new content until at least the game breaking bugs are fixed. And this is game breaking. Dungeons are a big part of the game and I have NO desire now to do them between the new complete wipe before you can WP and this. Actually, the complete wipe thing breaks them for me… it is NOT fun being dead until everyone wipes, then the boss completely reheals and you have to start over. We got halfway with first boss three times because of this and it SUCKS big time. I play for fun, not work…I already have a job thank you very much, and this is NOT fun.

I’m the guildmate he mailed to and ALL the messages just arrived. Of course, my mailbox did get full then and I’ve accepted items and deleted the messages. Hopefully, we won’t have a problem getting blocked again since we play together a lot and send things back and forth all the time.
