PvP could use a rework of its tutorial for new players, especially since there is a new shiny matchmaking system. It would be good even if people are only checking out it out for achievement points!

What kind of issue are you specifically having that could be related to lag?
1. Skill lag, screen freeze, skill freeze
2. SF
3. Yes, but only for a short time. Group Lag tends to happen during large queued map fights.
4. Usually everyone in voice chat will have the same problem at the same time. Then the problem passes. However, when we are near a large enemy zerg, some people will feel the map get laggy
5. Large zerg battles, being near a large zerg, but not seeing it yet. queued maps
6. 20 vs 20 is when you start to feel lag in my experience., but it gets worse with more people

I would suggest that you do not go to HOD, they are one big blog server since they received some very large guild transfers this week. We have been facing them for the past 2 weeks and have found they have numbers, but not cohesiveness at this point. Not to mention that they are the definition of bandwagon server.

I would consider either CD or SF. SF has a tight community and if you haven’t noticed, we don’t advertise at all. Word of mouth and continuous skill improvement has been how we have raised in the ranks T8 to where we are now. We are willing to learn from others and work together across maps through the use of voice comms.

From the little i have seen of CD, they seem to be a fair minded server, that can field many players during NA primetime and into the night.

Please consider SF and help improve our roamers! We would love to have you.

I am also a member of CoSA (Sapphire) and I wanted to add that many of us run fractals daily. We run both low level and high level fractals and are always looking for more dedicated players! Come join us if you want to have people to run fractals with or if you are interested in starting them for the first time!

Beautiful video that was really well executed, however being in a different tier, I have to ask: is it really that impressive that you won Gold? I think it would have been more remarkable if Blackgate had to overcome great odds to win, for instance coming 2nd place at least once. That being said, the video is really great! I hope some of your guilds consider moving to a server to teach others your tactics.

As much fun as we’re having on SF rolling tier 8, I really miss the lopsided battles we had in tier 6 with DH and IoJ. I miss being outmanned and I miss using breakout. Even thought we had a hard time getting 10 people most days, we had faith that we could rally our troops. Most times we would die before we got to Mendons, let along take it from DH, but we would try again. sigh. It’s not easy being green…

Well said! I agree with you Lord Vrael wholeheartedly. I play in Tier 8 and it is really apparent that WvW is broken there. I play on the SF server that is dominating, but when there is no competition it is hard to find the funds to upgrade towers etc if they are taken during the night. Something should be done to make WvW more in line with the rest of the end game rewards.

I started playing PvE and once I had mapped out the land, I only had the WvW area to complete for the 100% map title. As I was mapping I found out that WvW was actually a lot of fun. I love the challenge of fighting tough opponents and learning new ways to tweak my skills to stay alive and win
I often wonder if people realize that there are as many girls playing in WvW as there are. I see comments that make me laugh, like “don’t be a kitten” and think she probably is.. LOLz
