Implement losing of points and tiers in lower divisions.

Until some of issues of PvP league is solved do something about abusers and cheaters. Also losing games on purpose is code of conduct violation and it should be sanctioned.

WvW is not for them or you, in WvW u need to make a effort to make fun and epic situations. You can’t get them by not doing anything.
I suggest Strongholds then there is lot of action there and all u need to do is start the game and walk out of spawn.

Because even with that its more fun to actually fight over objectives, not cap empty towers and keeps. Even in defeats players can have some fun.

PPT and karma trains are different things. True WvW player dont want gvg guilds to “keep other players busy” true WvW player want to fight em. Plying responsibly defending your objectives, controlling supply lines gives best fight in WvW, you should know that.

Once expansion hit in and guild halls start to roll, are we gonna be able to play WvW properly?

To enter battlegrounds fight and kill any guys with red names over their heads, to capture and defend towers and keeps, to use siege and roam around, to be organized in small or big groups, to have your guild go out and play WvW to defend place we claimed with any means necessary, without any judgement.

To do all that without having bunch of “veterans” “guilds” “guild leaders” “pro mad skillz (watch me on twitch) roamers” bashing at you,cursing you and telling you not to do all that because you add up in 1vs1, interrupt their duels, gvg’s, scrimms, because you are danger that server might win matchup and rise up in rank, _________________________ type in all other stupid reasons.

Once upon a time WvW was place where u played with your team, helped you team, played for win, where u fought and killed reds with your team members. Now all i see is WvW turning into personal battlegrounds for individuals where team players are liability.

I just hope that people who dont want to play wvw can take thier duels, gvg’s, scrimms to some other place like guild hall arenas and leave wvw to those that want to play it like it was meant to.

Crow and rest of Gunnar’s Hold community did a lot to help out here. We manged to get keep vista in epic battle but later we were denied in Aldon’s by FSP defenders battle after was great though, gate was on 1% was very close.
Fighting for keeps for map completion is much more enjoyable then for PPT i have to admit. Was very fun

yawn… im gonna QQ all week long… cant wait to face servers ranked 7 place lower then GH then stomp them, it takes much mad skillz to do so… then im gonna boost here and tell ‘em its bad to build AC’s even if we outman them in every corners of maps

ye say that to 2 server att the same eb keep at the same time there go on the wall on ea side and build ac so deso and gh got 2 ac on ea wall then the gh was wiping us and deso make sure that we cant get in the keep sure that is not double team and then u got gh on the left gate and deso on the right sure that is not double team if that not it then what is. deso were at the keep 6 times and gh 4 times and if u focus this much and dont fight the other server this is not even fun to see 2 sad server fight 1 at the same time to win a fight still the new low server

I didn’t see you complaining when we were constantly in GH EB keep fighting and you were happily PvDing all their towers. You even came up to the keep and got wiped.

Either way had fun in EB most the time, till skill lag kicked in meh lol Finished 16 hour commanding spree with us taking GH Garri, more AC’s guys build more AC’s lol! Should be a fun week

In all honesty its been a good week so far, great fights. Just a shame i cannot play in primetime due to my ping being 600+. I really would love to do more tagged down INVI only stuff but whenever we do we just don’t have the numbers or quality yet.

Anyway i’ll be less active for rest of the week…… enjoy guys and have fun.

No need to show disrespect like that. I think its bad week with bad fights due to gap in numbers between Deso and GH, FR. I would also like to recognise and comment on following enemy guild Crow ran into last week, Crow run with 20 ppl max.

INVI – guild raid + pugs never less then 50 people, we never engage in that situation and only “fights” we had was when we were disengaging avoiding while u were overunning us with 3 times more people or when u jumped us while we were fighting FR zerg.
Actually for last 2 weeks we had just 2 real fights with INVI+pugs in only sitation we could fight, our own garrison and we kinda wiped u twice kinda easy so….

the thing that bothers me is that you take pride in blobing, when in fact most of our guilds can take you heads on while outnumbered, just not when its 20 ppl against a 60 man zerg wich will be the case this whole week, with 60 being an undestatement

Same could be said to you: you take so much pride in going around with 15-30 people that it is unacceptable to you to group up with another guild and try to work together to actually accomplish something.
If you really think that a single GH is worth 2 AMs, then why don’t “renown guilds” group up and try to face us head on? It would be more fun both to you and to us. But no, you can’t join other guilds, because it would be shameful.

The only time I saw this kind of behavious was when WBC and TEO grouped up and ACTUALLY put up a nice fight against us.
Where is FURY? Where is Rage? Where is Inc? Where is FG? Too busy licking their wounds from the previous matchup?

For example last night we flipped your entire borderlands in 30 minutes then farmed u for hours. That same RAGE, FG and CROW + our friends. U can’t remember that?

come AM show us how good u are we wait in your keeps for u to show us your domination.

Deso, AM and Gandara will fight for first 3 places, than AG and FSP for 4th and 5th place, FR, GH, MS will fight for 6th, UW reserved on bottom.

Deso, AM, Gandara, AG, FSP will have huge advantage over rest in terms of covarage, this is PPT game after all with all its “flaws and unfairness”

With two major differences; we only use a WP when dead and we spend our time hunting down enemy zergs / guilds instead of sitting behind 30 AC in a tower waiting for other 2 servers to fight to go PvD something. I get a kitten for reseting WP’d defended keeps, i’ll spend 8 hours doing so if i have to, just a forwarning. Eagerly awaiting to fight Bannershold, are there many people still there from release?

There r some old timers here and there. I remmember CiR but that was ages ago, i wasnt involved in commanding till a bit later.

It was impossible to kill 3 full guild raids in garri lords without using all available means. It was full map against u in lords minus 20 people (one guild) who made sure rest of map was safe while the fight in garri was on. As guild we couldn’t do anything in garri fight against all 3 guilds so we left job to determened bunch in garri to kick u out well played by them. Great job.

Again, nobody from VoTF, literally nobody, cares about garrison or your attempts to defend/attack or your situation in the match up.

This thread was brought up to address a broken mechanic. I really dont understand why so many GH are coming in explaining how they couldnt kill us bla bla. We arent blaming/insulting you. We are saying the game is broken and Arenanet should rethink this mechanic because it has no viable counter.

If you cant kill us, but we can kill you, we deserve to have the keep. We did our jobs. Except if there are broken banners and waypoints in play, then its impossible to cap the keep so either way I dont see how you could be proud of your defense when all you did was suicide banner for 1h+

We have been in Spvp this week it was no fun to play wvw against such big enemy groups, skill lag and fps drops aint fun. I cant belive someone finds wvw in gold league fun.

And yeah if u pin one team under 100 points its always gonna happend that multiple groups run together. Gunnars blob on video is just natural reaction on current state of match. No one is gonna give u loot bags for free we had to wp my 15 man group last night multiple times cos we faced 50+ piken sfrj lead blob on piken bl then we went in spvp cos wvw is unplayable. And i want to thank to EW guild for only one fair fight we had this week. Gl all and i hope i never see piken in this state in wvw again.

No i’m not expecting RoF to hit UW border cos its imposible, unfortunatly RoF is atm too weak for GH and UW. True WvW is when there is 3 servers present on every map in some kind of force and thats not the case on 2/4 maps at all times, and it makes less fun match for all, it should had been Fort Ranik or Drakkar that 3rd server.

Only RoF guys we saw was TaG (much respect) as best 5 fights my guild (core/crew) had with u was best fun in WvW in weeks. Two fights at crag 2 nights ago on Gh bl was epic.

You run as seperate guilds(50meters of eachother) gj. Does that make Teo, HT Fury’s pets? just askin?
Hope you had fun taking only 2 towers with your 70 people on map with 30 defending.

What you don’t seem to understand is that we have no guild in UW able to fight against 25 Rage or 25 Fury. We have several 10-15-20 man guilds.
With the organization that Rage and Fury have(meleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssss everwheeeeeeeere), you cant expect us who pull with all our might 15 people, and that could mean 10 engineers 2 guardians etc :P, to give you a great fight.

In the end it was one 10+ man guild group and some roamers around defending briar and it took u 20+ minutes and a lot of wipes to take it. Thanks for fun fight.
As for objective fights lets hope next time just once actualy both servers invade ur bl like it should be done in wvw its gonna much fun for both of us.

So far i been really loveing this match up.

UW has a Huge force in every border. it seems u got atleast 400+ players spread out across the bls.
AS seeems to lack players to really push into GH/UW border. i seen u guys in EB with loads and on your own border with loads.
I do sometimes wonder if AS Servers uses the right tactics.
Cause stacking in a keep with 60players while there is only 30 outside is a bit confusing to me.60 Should eazyly bulldozer us 30 flat.
But if thats your tactic then i am fine with that. (aslong as it works for ya =-P)

Sometimes i would love to see a bit more open field battles but thats just my personal taste of playing.

Its really not that many :o Wouldn’t even be possible, since ~100 people creates a queue. During prime time usually homeborder and EB are queued (especially EB, 20+ minute queue’s are pretty common during the extreme peak times), GH border usually has a guild or two in it and AS border is outmanned.

And man, that bay defence You almost had more AC’s then our friends from Fort Arrowcart. GJ though!

And Aberstone isn’t their former glory anymore, the people that did stay on the server and still fight for it do deserve a medal tho.

It was just 3 or 4 arrow carts rest was regular players AOE, u were lucky Arb was on inner of hills with 25+ at same time ur Super Pug Death Machine blob was on inner of bay we missed timeloop to set up at lords and u took bay, it was undefended it the end Cheers for determination though. We wiped u at bay so many times prior to that

This matchup is so dull, from impossible and unwinnable fights to period of extensive PvDooring i was bored out of my mind last night, its so lame fighting Millers and AG for us, i hope for Dzag and RoS in friday reset.

OMG why so much comments about players from Gunnars Hold from higher tier servers. Its Gunnars Hold small server that in most times of day cant field commander let alone 15+ group to play on all maps, 90% of wvw guilds cant field more that 15 ppl on raid. Heck i even stoped raids for my guild between 8 to 10 pm cos we cant do anything on our own against big guild groups. Why the hell are u ppl feel threaten by us its something i cant understand. Grow up!

News for u Dis… THERE IS NO PERFECT SERVER! Deal with it!
Some things u need u may find in tier 1 or national servers like Vizunah, but u will place 60% of ur guild in long que. If guys there or ur guild dont mind longer que, then go there. Do not expect things will be better then on AG on some similar EU servers.
Might be better if u move to NA but i want to fight against u again

I dont want to get into a who had how many debate tbh, all I can say is that when both groups were stacking on the ruins there was way more than 5 or 6 core / crew, not as many as you had to be sure, thats why we went for them, but whatever man its all cool.

There was 10 of us in core/crew/acid wvw group.

We can’t do good in primetime when we start with outmanned buff on our own borderland. We were very good over weekend and we deserve to be focused by millers atm. And we cant deal with millers targeting us they r just better and have numbers, ros was is same spot over weekend.

And yeah seems always when we get focused hard people start to slack and not show up in wvw thas why we have outmanned buff on our own map even at some points at primetime, thats frustrating when trying to save 2nd place or to stay in race for it.

Congrats to RoS for almost certain 2nd place.

Weekend is over and i can say im proud of my fellow Gunners for brilliant resistance in face of overwhelming odds. We proven ourselves that we can hold our own under constant pressure and with outmanned buff on all 4 maps at some points. Thanks to both enemy servers it was one of best wvw weekends for me.

Weekdays will bring significantly lower Gunnar’s presence (even more) and coverage during the morning and day, making it harder for us to fight back, i hope we can have some foothold on any map by the evenings so we don’t have negative morale impact on most of our forces, we need numbers to show good resistance when we get in game in evenings.

And to Piken: focus more on RS during the week u still have a chance to win

just a little taste of our gameplay(just a fast video with what we seen yesterday)we dont blob,we play as guild we have max 20 member on but almost all the time we are less,see the game with our eyes see our number,see yours.
one week and this server change tier,max 3 weeks and is on tier 5 this is why we are here now.
We want play on tier 5max because on other tier there are guild of 30 40 member where they regroup if they die,where they blob almost 90% of the time they are logged in and after many month of that we transfered,and when the tier dont fit our gamestyle we change it again for sure.

We have conflict of different standards here now, big higher tier based guilds see wvw much differently then people playing in lower tiers ex. Gunnar’s Hold

Ros guild u have ur issues and that is huge blobs 70+, lags…

We at other hand consider 30 to 40 man group a huge zerg and stupid name blob, we consider lag and fps drop when big organized group charrge and blind everything with spell effect cos we cant figure whats going on as we dont have much expirience in that fights….
We intentionaly play on lower populated server so now we have same issues u had in tier 1 just from different waypoint and same resaon why u all left ur precious tier one servers and communitys, (u must understand frustration)…. but we have no where to go and we have nothing to do now… im not whining and crying just a fact

As far as match goes xxx guild was surpise, 40+ VcY we saw made us instanty change map…. as long as im commander of our puggys <3 ill tell them not to fight 40+ vcy group, its stupid and pointless for us… Group with me decided we try having fun at ros bl and we had great time, some wins some losses, nice clashes with nom guild, one good fight with nom + xxx on bay north cliff, we had our inventory full couple of times yay it was nice to see xxx in action from far watched their clips once to learn some tricks, very impressive group…. tryed to lure them in fight with us but they didnt attacked us
I doubt im gonna be having much playtime this week cos i want balanced matchup dont enjoy been dominant or trashed side, hated when we had many new guilds on GH when we stomped others few months ago, hate it now, so i hope ros guys dont get tooo bored fighting doors would be shame.

And also to dex and goa u r just small guilds on big server now and ur influence of final score is so small, so not much need to boost much and tell people from our server to shut up, go flip some camps and use some trebs and carry some supply.

Also i think it is clear that u came to wrong place, tier 7 and GvG with 30-35 at prime time, newsflash for you we don’t have organized force or guild that can match your number and playstyle so don’t dream about that. Our wvw guilds run with 20+ people maybe once a week we just don’t have routine, experience and manpower in the 30-35 guild vs. guild playstyle like u guys do… yea we could try to form completly random 60+ man zerg with task to stop ur guild but we are not gonna do that its not fun for us and you , and we dont want to suck the fun out of this game, we have that much respect at least.

To boost ur ego further yea u farmed our players and demoralized them last night it is true, BUT it is not just skill it is just that we are not prepared for tier 1 playstyle here and we dont have resources to beat u except on reset night when we had ques on maps and that was just that one day in week. We do not kitten and cry becouse of that it is new challenge for us we are gonna try to adapt while u are in tier (we need week or weeks to do that) with us but we do hope that u gonna hop back to SFR soon it is clear that atm u are out of place here.

A player from GH celebrating a red/green map as a victory over zeee germanz – so finally this is the proof that RoF and GH work together. Thank you, many people on Dzag have been waiting for this.

And looking at the time this incredible achievment was made, I wanted to inform you that I’v beaten minesweeper at “pro” in less than a minute last night and resistance was futile (those stupid mines, lol)! Thought thats worth mentioning as well!

Had some great fun, on both FSP and GH borderlands tonight, FSP garrison fight was epic, we just quit after a hour or so. GH well… some good field battle’s and good defense from you guys. was fun with our golems whilst it lasted. I cant say I didnt recognize any organized guild groups for GH though.

RoF last night u capped cliffside with my group of 4 still inside tower… we just waited buff to expire and capped it again… next time check tower after u cap

that 4 golem cap did seemed a bit smooth and easy for wsr keep (great defending whole week)… i was there on my alt porting golems when oil/cannons was down so i didn’t saw any kind of exploit… if i did i would port golems on cliff edge not gate… pls try to remember guild tag so we make sure we dont have glitcher in our ranks

Great matchup so far. A lot of respect for WSR who clearly have less people then RoF and us but still have a lot of points i hope u guys keep this up, it will keep match more interesting till the end.
