maybe once all the pips are used that specific tome has a cooldown before you can reuse it? it could also be that potentially you could use maybe 3 -4 pips in 1 tome then swap to another tome that has full pips but when you swap back to the first tome it still has 3-4 pips used and wont recharge until all pips are used and tome is off cooldown?

the bar could be a number of uses bar? like when you pick up a tome all the pips light up and each skill you use depletes a pip and when all pips are out the tome disappears? and maybe skills 4 and 5 use more than 1 pip so you have to decide do you spam skill 1 and use 1 pip at a time or do you only use 2-3 skills for the whole bar? anything could be a potential due to the screenshots not actaully using a tome so we dont know how they work together.

i think konig is on the money with this, i have a similar opinion, i also think balthazar stole lyssa’s mirror rather than having lyssa be on balthazar’s side, all we need now is the answers to why he has been removed from the group, maybe their is internal conflict between the gods, maybe he wanted to get involved in human affairs again and was cast out because of it? it leaves us with interesting questions for the finale and the expansion to explore, expand and hopefully answer

will we have the remaining guild levels before the next expansion, I remember somewhere it being stated that 80 is the max guild level and currently were are half way through 69. we haven’t had a upgrade to do for the guild hall since ls3 episode 2? if a developer could pop in with a quick note about what’s currently happening with the guild hall system that would be grand

Ele already has enough support and bunker specs.
The class has been missing a viable condition and viable ranged nuker spec since release.
It’s maddening that our first new trait line since release almost mirrors the auramancer I have been playing since release.

That’s true, a condi spec would be nice. As for nuker, I thought staff was supposed to fill that role

Staff is a support weapon. Always has been. Again, Ele has already had its fill with support/bunker.

haha that made me giggle yes its our support weapon but its also our hardest hitting weapon with massive aoe dmg, its as close as a ranged nuker your gunna get on ele without the numbers being insanee :P

soooo many posts on here keep spreading this ‘1 map’ bs, were getting 1 region! a region consists usually of 4-7 maps and in the xpac 1 map = 3 biomes and 1 biome is equal to 1 current map. so if we get 4 maps thats 12 biomes so 4 HoT maps potentially = 12 current maps in size ( depending on size). please get your facts right before sprouting this only 1 map bs ty

but we dont know what the content will be in HoT there could be content where you need 5 tanky players, 5 condi people 5 zerkers and if thats the case you will need to carry multiple sets to make sure you can provide what is needed in every occasion

i have 5 legendary weapons, weapons arent the issue the issue is im not going to carry 5 sets of armor on each character for a potential fight, thats idiotic

with the new system making it so attributes are based off armor instead of traits, that means i need to create multiple sets of armor for different occasions. where do i store them?? i have 5-6 lv80’s and you want me to make multiple ascended sets for each just incase i need them for a certain fight?? that’s annoying as hell, the way to solve it imo would be to give ascended equipment stat swap so that it is more convenient for hardcore and casual player alike.

Maybe we’ll get a ‘Ritualist’ specialization for the Revenant?

I think it’ll be a necromancer specialization.

  • Necromancers have already gone into the spectral realm of things, far more than in GW1.
  • Marjory’s the first of the new necromancer specialization. She’s of Canthan descent. And she has a spirit-imbued weapon.

wouldn’t trehearne technically be the first of the specialisation due to him being a necro and wielding caladbolg and with him now in the jungle he could pick up the new specialisation as a means to survive.

Im not saying they have to look like the dragon that spawbs them but risen look undead like zhaitan mordrem i.e. Husks wolves teragriff are vines and bones yet sylvari are leaves in shape of humans? Does mordrrmoth look similar to mordrem or to sylvari and if he looks like the mordrem why are the sylvari the only ones that are different

Okay but why are mordrem made of bones and plant matter yet sylvari are full plant matter on a humanoid shape and the pale tree is a mordrem champion but can produce its own minions why is mordremoth so different from the other dragons? Sorry if people can easily see it but i dont :P

If the sylvari are minions of mordremoth how come they and mordrem look nothing alike? The other dragon minions all look similar but mordremoth’s are different?? I would like some clarification, the only thing i could think of is that the sylvari werent originally meant to lpok like humans and they became humanesque after ronan and ventari or possibly that sylvari came first and after they became ‘purified’ mordremoth changed how he corrupts things?

im loving this arguement about rewards for raids, its interesting to me that people dont want exclusive skins to raids because they dont want to have to feel forced to do content for a certain reward, yet throughout this ENTIRE game that model exists. tequatl weapon skins,fractal weapon skins, wvw season weapon skins, ls skins this list just goes on. its something you have dealt with for 2 years. 2 YEARS! it shouldnt bother you now.

rewards wise for the raid as long as the rewards arent sellable im okay with that. the rewards if say skins should not be sellable as they were not earned by the person potentially selling it and we need things in this game where you look at people and go ‘ohh look at that —-—— its awesome’ and imo rng should be used in the raid just carefully.

proposal:
a raid that everyone with some understanding of core mechanics and class mechanics can achieve together with people looking for challenging and engaging content.

raid number cap:
my preferable raid number would be 10-15 people as this doesnt water down the importance of certain classes and roles.

raid mechanics:
the raid itself should be a engaging, yet difficult set of events, last anywhere from 2-4 hours for players to complete and less time for people once experienced in its mechanics. there should be a number of bosses preferably 3-5 with a path that leads to each boss with puzzle like encounters to make it harder for people to make there way though. each boss should have a unique mechanic and the final boss a combination of the mechanics, this will show the number of players that payed attention to mechanics and learnt from the previous encounters.

raid difficulty:
this is a issue im struggling to come with a solution, one solution is a normal and hard mode with the normal mode being less challenging and eases people into the raiding scene with hard being the mode that gives the true rewards, or just have 1 mode that is difficult and requires co-ordination,understanding and communication to overcome.

raid progression:
a weekly reset every Tuesday to align with patch day of gw2. a checkpoint system should be implemented for the people who have irl responsibilities that might cause them to leave suddenly, maybe a save point after each boss.

raid accessibility:
preferably people at lv80 with full exo gear minimum is required to enter, i see raiding as hard pve content that requires a certain level of understanding of mechanics before even attempting the raid but in the end its down to the devs.

rewards:
this is my biggest issue, i got no clue for rewards. maybe a token system like the dungeons for exclusive skins and luxuries, maybe rewards that will tie in with potential guild halls that show of trophies or statues that give buffs to the groups that completed it like the dolyak statue from wvw season. IMO each boss should have a unique skin/ascended weapon that he/it/she has the potential to drop with the chance of say if the raid size is 15 people at least 1 person should get it every time.
other potential rewards are laurels,gold,minis,skins again its down to devs what they deem a suitable reward would be.

pros/cons:
its restricted really to a group of people that are looking for a challenge and understand game mechanics.
it might take too long for quite a few of the players.
if the mechanics are not designed well/hard enough a lot of people might not actually find it challenging and just not do it.

As a guy who loves jumping, i have mastered most if not all jp’s in this game and the clock tower is my favourite out of them all :-D i did not just beat the tower, i mastered it. I request a hard mode be added with harder jumps and a tower 2-3 times longer, gives more time for nerves to set in and a greater satisfaction when finishing the puzzle. Love halloween every year and hope my favourite part of it gets an upgrade! Keep up the good work anet :-)

i have come to the same conclusion that barradin will play a part in this but, i think that barradin will actually possess rytlock and undo the curse. That way, it still follows the lines of the prophecy. Why is this issue only being dealt with now? because from the looks of things, mordremoth is alot bigger threat than zhaitan was/is and so the charr will realise they need to take more action against mordremoth than zhaitan and they cant as long as the ghosts are there on their doorstep.

spent 2 hours in w1 z3 tribulation mode finally killed boss with no lives left and it sinking into the pond somehow killed me. Now due to you making a time limit till next zone i panicked cause i hadnt opened the chest so i tried to get to the chest. THE kitten ED EXPLODING LILY PADS KILLED ME EVERY TIME SO NOT ONLY DID I NOT GET TO THE CHEST BEFORE BEING TELEPORTED TO CART LEVEL I GOT NO REWARDS NO ACHIEVEMENTS AND NO Z3 TOKEN… now i dont know about you arena anet but for my time and effort i would like to get my rewards thank you i have no baubles left so i am so i cant go into it again without baubles.

people attacking the dragon got chests but people defending the turrets didnt get any so was wondering if it was designed like that or just all of us unlucky
