Where would this Black Lion Vendor happen to be?

I have recently decided to do 400+ crafting and after reading about how you can only get some recipes from salvaging the exotics, I decided to tag along on some world boss zergs. So far I have salvaged 8 or 9 exotic world drops with no luck on any recipes (Using Black Lion Salvage Kit). So should I only be salvaging exotics that have Rabid, Magi, and Dire in the title? Are these the only groups to provide recipes through salvaging?

I have tried following quite a few guides but they simply state to use “Rabid-fill-in-the-blank”, but don’t go in to detail on how to acquire them. Are there good guides available that break it down to my newbie 400+ dumbness level?

I have to agree with everything mentioned in this thread.

My beef is that everytime I get up to the Prime Hologram I have at most 9-10 people there. No way to succeed. The one time I did make it up and had enough people to actually complete the event I got disconnected and came back to a different platform…by myself.

At least have a minimum number allowed to enter a platform or have the Prime Hologram scale down if there are only a handful on the platform. For three days I have been trying and trying to even get into a platform with enough people to take down the Prime Hologram. To hell with the achievements, I just wanna see what is past that phase.

After three days of this I am very frustrated and have no urge or desire to even play the game.
