Power Chrono is mostly used in WvW, try keep the chrono trait line but switch from condi to power and see how you go, its much more enjoyable.

Use chrono traitline instead of one other traitline and i suggest sword/sheild or sword/sword with greatsword. You can also switch up your skills a bit – using some wells maybe if you want the alac but keep some invis skills for you to sneak in and murder other zergs

Hi SO depending on what role you would like to play in raids and WvW will change what class you play. If you like to have medium dps but massive utility go mesmer or druid. Druid is the master of healing and will mostly be just supporting teammates with heals. Mesmer is the king of utility as alacrity is a effect that gives 33% cooldown reduction which only mesmer can provide. Only 1 mesmer is usually needed in raids and fractals while 1 or 2 druids are needed in raids and fractals. Revenant has high dps with a load of survivability and cc, but your teammates will be mostly grateful for the amounts of boons you can constantly produce. Necro, well because you have HOT you can get the elite spec reaper and everyone loves reapers atm, they are top tier for fractals and raids, you can go either condi or power on necro, but for raids and fractals i suggest you go condi. So all in all necro, druid and revenant are good. It all depends on what you like to play, if you like pure dps go necro, if you enjoy dps while supprting your team with boons i suggest you go revenant and if you like utility and dps go either mesmer or druid.

So as the title suggest I am an experienced player but lately I just cant get enough of Chronomancer, i love the idea of wells and “alacrity”. I’ve always loved a team player kind of role and Chronomancer just suits me I guess. The idea of clones and all is great, and I wont lie purple butterfly’s with purple aura and Sunrise look perfect together So onto the real question; I seem to have a problem using my wells, I dont really know what situation to use them in and which ones to use in general. I also dont really know when to use the shatter abilities. Continuum Shift I understand how to use and how to works but all i’m using it for is to use it then sword 2 and shield 5 so I can use it again when the cooldown refreshes.
So in general i would just like any tips anyone can give me for chronomancer, i play zerk chrono with assassin trinkets to clarify if anyone was wondering

Well you sound like you want to use sunrise so warrior or dragon hunter, maybe mesmer.

I personally love my condition druid more in pve then anything else sense my gw 1 paragon. Very nice damage while being invincible with my pet, nothing wrong with that at all. Also I use every single skill constantly which keeps me more engaged and having more fun then spamming 1

Yea as you said i honestly dont like just spamming 1, its really boring xD

Hey, I completely understand your struggle, as I am in basically the same position. I started with a dragon hunter, then went to ele, then to rev. They are all level 80 now, but I’m having a hard time picking a main. The two classes I would suggest giving a try would be warrior and necro. The warrior is an overall satisfying and vey good class, and the new berserker spec makes it even more enjoyable. The new reaper spec for necros looks awesome and I heard isn’t too bad either (damage and survivability wise at least, I’ve heard they don’t have much to offer in support).

Both classes can use greatswords too!

Hey guys, so as the title suggests i am looking for a class to main and i know some of you will state “Main the class you enjoy most”, i am just looking for your opinions on your favorite class and why. I would also like your opinion on my perspective, so far i have a lvl 80 maxed dragonhunter who i used to main but due to all the nerfs i switched to revenant. I really like revenant because of the damage it can deal along with the idea and mechanics of the class, it is fairly tanky and with Infused Light (glints heal) it makes it even more fun. I have to admit i think i played Rev a bit too much because i am getting bored of the class, it is still fun but i would like to see how fun other classes are. I tried an ele and love the damage but i dont really like how squishy they are, their air overload is amazing damage wise but i always feel like i get 2-3 shot by bosses. I am really enjoy doing raids and fractals and a bit of pvp on the side, i dont really touch wvw. So what are your thoughts on the best class for fractals and raids?

PS: I made sunrise a while ago when i used to main dragon hunter but now that they got nerfed i moved to rev as stated before and i cant use Sunrise which makes me sad xD I do have a mesmer and like the idea of them.

Oh right i get you now haha sorry about that Jethro, I suggest to just keep beserker’s because running exotic in WvW really doesn’t matter that much. Its all up to you but my opinion would be keeping Zojja’s

Change the stats depending on your class and playstyle, If you like to go ham and smash people in 1v1s go Zojjas but if you feel you need that extra bit of survivability go for Ruka’s. Also if you are playing a condi class focused more on condition damage then go with Ruka’s, but if its like revenant, warr, guard just use Zojja’s

Hey Jethro, I myself run a lot of fractals and gotten ascended armours and weapons which have the wrong stats.
To change stats for ascended armour:
-Anthology of heroes (getting it from Miyani in Lions Arch)
-5 globs of ectos
-Gossamer Insiginia with stats you want (e.g beserker’s gossamer Insignia)
-The ascended armour piece

For weapons:
-Anthology of heroes (getting it from Miyani in Lions Arch)
-5 globs of ectos
-Orichalcum Imbued Inscription with stats you want (e.g beserker’s Orichalcum Imbued Inscription)
-The ascended weapon

Those are the things you need for weapons and armour, you simply pop them into the mystic forge and the stats change

I suggest if you have weaponsmith and armoursmithing at lvl 400 you craft the inscriptions rather than buy them but up to you

Hey guys! So I’ve been researching a few ways to make good gold, what is everyone’s opinions about this topic? I’ve been looking around for a while and trying to find ways to get good gold per hour so far SW chest farming us the best way, what are your thoughts about getting a lot of gold?

I have seen people hitting 11k dmg with CORuin and i was wondering how they did it, guy in pvp hit me for that much with a crit, he didnt have any food or nourishments

Hey guys, so i wanted to do map completion for a while now, i started a bit on my Dragnhunter, she has 26% map completion, i have a level 80 theif and a level 80 ranger also. I am just wondering if i should do it on my DH (only problem is no movespeed buff), my ranger (apparently it is easy for them) or level a warrior to 80 or a mesmer to 80 (which i have but are both level 50ish). Also what method would be easiest to get it? zig zag?

Hey guys, so after leveling a 80 guardian and a 80 theif i am thinking of crafting a sunrise(the legendary greatsword) for my guardian. Now i have a few problems, i need to get armorsmith and weaponsmith to level 500 and i really dont know the most efficient way to do that, and i also need help on how to get gold now-a-days. I also need the gold to buy the materials for crafting but it costs so much and im lucky to make 2g a day :/ because at the moment all i do is try to get map completion to get the exploration thing you need for legendary crafting. My ultimate goal is to get sunrise so what are your opnions on this,

Hey guys, so ive just started playing Guild Wars 2 and i have a lvl 80 female guardian now, i see all these people walking around with these shiny and beautiful armours, i saw a youtube video from Zodin Vii his “New Era” video only posted about 2 weeks ago, would anyone know what armour sets or skin he has, i really want to get the armour he has. Also the dyes he used would be nice! now with that aside i still dont know what im ment to do now that i.habe the lvl 80 account, do i make a new account and get it to level 80 (i have a lvl 40 mesmer and lvl 2 revenant) or do i play my guard and run around getting gold and stuff?
