I remember when blobbing was seen as something bad, but that changed. My point was only to inform that not all players want the same thing.
I do agree that international servers like AG and GH are doomed (can’t say anything about national servers) and it’s sadly no turning back since majority of ppl want to be on the overstacked server and want to be carried by others.
You are thinking with only you self in mind. You are an EB player and only want to run in big blobs. That is what is fun for you.
I almost never go to EB and prefer the small scale. So I have no need at all to be on a full/overstacked server. Lots of action for me in lower tiers.
And do you really think the “bandwagoners” have settled? Just need the smallest thing to trigger the flood to start again. Piken for example are now a linked server. Next time they won’t be and maybe won’t be as dominating when not and then there probably will be a new flavour of the month server.
They should set the price to linked server to be same as the host server. Same goes with if host is full, linked sever should also be set as full.
I guess the idea was to even out players also to the linked server for some future change to how many servers there should be (or something), but reality became something else, just a cheap way of getting to a host server.
Several guilds have left. I for one miss them and I wish they wouldn’t have left. But they have left and I hope they find more fun on the servers they transfered to. I’m sure I’m not alone on AG feeling that way (even sure the ones feeling that way are the majority).
But that is now past and it’s time to rebuild. So welcome all, guilds or single players, to the great server Aurora Glade. No queues garanteed (except maybe to EB)!
Just for your information, tiers haven’t excisted for some time now (well kind of back now with the league) and the matches was kind of randomized. So AG have been up against all top servers (except SFR). So I think most of the players at AG have played more or less all the servers that now are in the gold league.
So what would AG or Gandara gain by teaming up against FSP? Is FSP the strongest server of the 3? Do they have the best coverage of the 3 servers? Are they even the 2nd strongest server?
And I think the kitten Gandarans that are on our BL the entire day, night and evening missed the message…
come on now I didn’t say you are the worse I just said similar to Jade Sea level… when you rely on numbers so much of course it will have a impact on fighting ability… where a Server like Augury just have a amazing fighting spirit forged through very competitive matchup’s and their attitude towards fights… and Underworld were the most organised pug’s I’ve seen from any server and considering ive got the most kills in TUP and played against almost every server… im in a pretty good and almost unique position to judge a server’s fighting ability from my time leading piken nights and time active on Aurora Glade.
Let me see listen to Troma or Bleed? One of the respectful leaders which helped established Viz or someone who don’t even listen their tag… hard choice bro.

but come on 2 guys from a ranked 13 server capped a keep from ranked 1 server last night on your home borderland (bay)

So you tell AG how to play? you think you are better than AG when you outnumber them? Just wondering when was the last time Viz ever capped a keep off a server with so many defenders in the zone outnumbering them with just two people?

Aurora Glade whines whenever they are matched against a higher tier zerger, because they apparently blob/zerg.
But when facing lower tier servers, they have no problem zerging themselves.

I must say that I have seen very little complaints about blobs when against higher tiers lately. So where do you see those?
I checked thru the two last threads against higher tiers on this forum and could actually not find any complaints about blobs as such.
And AG should really stop blaming other servers for blobbing since you have had the biggest blobs I’ve seen so far out of every server we faced, just because another server beats you at it doesn’t mean you don’t do it.
And splitting up the blob every now and then when facing a server ranked about 7-8 places below you with less then half your population isn’t really proving anything. Its pretty stupid to be reading other matchup threads and see constant complaints only to face those servers and see them do the exact same thing when they have the chance.

Think we kind of always have but now we doesn’t face servers where a couple of 100 ppl set their alarm clock to pvd one bl after another to get some wxp.
I don’t understand why people are complaining about miller’s. Have they changed this week or something, because they’re pretty much the most enjoyable server to fight. A lot of medium sized guilds (10-15+) and also something to offer the larger guilds. If you don’t want them, can we have them back please?
They have changed. On prime time it’s the same old MS, but outside those 4-5 hours they have become a copy of AM and RS with wxp train jumping from one bl to the next.
Meh, this is pretty much what bakes my noodle about WvW, we work hard holding garri on our map against numerous attacks etc. Then AG wait till off peak when I reckon we would have had about 2 people online and come and take it, brilliant!!!
Also to both the other servers, when you out number us not everything else has to be in your favor. You can just attack and not everything has to be in your favor, who knows, you might even like a bit of spontaneity.
Also anet, sort it out. Lake being bugged is frustrating to say the least.
You mean like last week when they camped our borders 24/7 and then they were dissapointed because guilds were wunning together to wipe them.
Or that they were crying all weekend about MS blobs, like AG doesn’t blob, and then they proceed to nightcap the weakest server because they cannot touch Millers.
At least when we faced Piken and Riverside they had some sportmanship to not nightcap us to oblivion.
I very much doubt AG have a strong night team, but we do have some from US and down under. So they are not allowed to play during their primetime? Strange way of thinking if you ask me.

But if someone is bad, what is the reference? As I see it you put GH as reference and to me that is a way of saying you are good. I just showed some evidence of something else to show you that you maybe not are 100% correct.
I guess the largely numbers ends up meaning you can be generally awful at the game aka AG for example but still do good while at the lower rankings individual/group skill actually is the difference between winning and losing.

I mentioned it and Argwulf did and we both mentioned some ppl in FURY, not the guild itself. Just can’t understand the hostility from some ppl we used to play alongside everyday (like you Rorik).
I know the reasons you left (well the official ones), was just messing around But I must say I’m surprised how some of you now talk about the ones you once played with. Just can’t find a reason. Why not be happy and nice to each other? :P
I thought playing like riverside was to run away into a tower and fire with a million ac‘s and blobbing was abbadons. Getting confused here. How is it?
Thanks for another fun night on AM borderland. Had a ton of fun with the fight outside of NE tower against the AM guild collaboration and DW/FSV from FSP.
Seems the changes we made are working out quite well.
I wasn’t there for any of the fights with PUNK earlier in the night but heard they were quite fun. Keep up the goods fights all around.

I think you are a bit unfair to the pugs on your own server Matt. I would say it’s all about coverage. When we on AG have enough pugs on our own bl to defend we have already lost most of it, since we have a weak day coverage and especially BB runs with big zergs in our bl during the day. Not easy to take back a lost hills or bay for pugs against organized guilds.
