It’s just such a jerk move!
There is seriously NO positive point about taking the Set I minis out of the gem store. Why did they have to go? Because you released a new set??
There’s room enough for both sets in the Minis tab!

Sorry, I’m just really annoyed by this. I understand the whole limited exclusive minis like the SAB ones, but Set I has a title track attached to it. Why take them away?!?

I’m honestly upset about the results. Most Kiel supporters I’ve come across only voted for the reduced waypoint costs. It’s stupid and shallow.

Evon voters pretty much only voted for the Abaddon fractal. That has to say something.

I’m actually seeing/hearing a lot more people who are voting for Kiel just because of the reduced wp costs, which I think is shallow and stupid.
Waypoints aren’t even THAT expensive, and with the achievement reward chests; gold is easier to obtain as well. Plus, it hasn’t been stated HOW MUCH the costs will be reduced. For all we know it’s just 10%. Whoop-dee-doo.

The reason I’m voting for Gnashblade is mainly the Abaddon fractal. I am very big on lore personally, and Abaddon is definitely my favourite god (even though he technically isn’t any more, but shhh), so a fractal dedicated to his fall just sounds so freakin’ awesome.

Also, Gnashblade is just a more interesting character. He’s the owner of the Black Lion Trading Company, so naturally, he’d be the best candidate to obtain a trade contract and be part of the Captain’s Council.
Ellen Kiel might be a decent Lionguard (though…letting a council member get murdered on her watch..?), but I honestly don’t think she’s suited for a political position.

TL;DR
Most people I come across are voting for Kiel because ermagerd bewbs and ermagerd lower wp costs.

Two thoughts:

1. Plant Slayer
2. Giant Slayer

Those two would make the “Slayer of All” title; with as little population of them in the game at this current time, very difficult to get.

All the more reason why we should be rewarded with an awesome title for completing all of them!
And there’s an event in Brisban Wildlands that spawns normal giants (so non-veteran/champion)

Now, wouldn’t that be a cool thing and a nice nod to the GW1 players as well?
I personally feel this game is lacking in titles that aren’t bound to temporary content or insane amounts of gold. Plus, this one would make sense! Gives a nice incentive to actually completing all of the Slayer achievements.

I really would like to vote for armour equality first and foremost. Why do the female characters (besides the asura and charr, I suppose) get the skimpiest armour? Also, why are the skimpiest armour sets for males in the Heavy category? That just makes no sense.

Winged armour. It looks fantastic on the female human, norn and sylvari, but the male counterpart (and the unisex for charr and asura) just looks so darn boring in comparison.
Then there’s the human light T3 cultural. Skimpy for females, but super boring for males.
The human T3 medium cultural female set has underboob. Males are completely covered??? How is that fair?

This game isn’t just played by men who like to ogle pretty female characters. There are also a whole lot of girls and women playing this (like me) who want to be able to ogle their pretty male characters properly. Covering them up completely is such a waste. Seriously.

Yes to skimpy armour, but please make it skimpy for both genders!

If you get the chef’s outfit on the trading post and put it on it’s leaf themed, and looks really cool as your ton clothes. Just a suggestion. Quite a few npcs wear it in game.

If you read my post you would have seen that I mentioned the chef outfit :P

The female ones are SO much nicer (though I suppose all the female town clothes look nicer…) and I personally think that’s super lame. I’m a girl and have 5/6 male characters, 3 of which are sylvari and I bought the chef outfit for 2 of them because I just hated the default town clothes so much.
Okay, the trousers look somewhat decent, but why is that “shirt” so kitten ugly and boring? The female sylvari get a pretty top and hotpants with some nice boots, but the males really got the short end of the stick. (pun not intended)
The chef clothes look nice, but I feel they could have had a little more “gradient” to them.
But yeah. Generally; ugh. I know it’s mostly men playing this game (and MMOs in general), but as a female gamer, I more often than not feel SO disappointed.
Girls like to look at pretty polygons too, y’know. And not all girls want to play girl characters. ):

If GW1 is anything to go by, you’ll probably see those costumes return again this year. Plus, ANet would be foolish not to seize the chance to earn more revenue.

I’m seriously bummed that I missed GW2’s first Wintersday and the pimpin’ outfit that was available in the gem store. (I’m also regretting not buying the witch/warlock outfit during Halloween. I did get the Mad King one, though)
So, I was wondering if the costumes will be available for purchase again next Wintersday (which is way too long and it makes me sad), because I seriously need that outfit in my life.
Why…why did I have to miss Wintersday…. /cries forever

Troy Baker seems to also be in every game I play nowadays, but I really don’t mind. I love that man’s voice. Hnngh.

But yeah, I think they somewhat altered Steve’s voice for Rytlock, though.

I named my charr guardian Maura Braveclaw…it really seems to fit her, haha.
